‘ACLU Becomes Top Legal Defender of Anti-Semitic BDS Campaign’

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) essentially claims to be a supporters of individual rights and opposed to oppression. However, it has become quite politicized.

The American Civil Liberties Union has evolved into the most powerful legal advocate for the anti-Semitic Israel boycott movement in the United States, a move critics argue undercuts the organization’s reputation as an advocate for minorities and other underrepresented groups.

Now, as it prepares to defend that movement before a panel of federal appellate judges next week in a lawsuit against the state of Arkansas, the ACLU is facing fresh scrutiny from state lawmakers and legal experts who argue that the organization sticks up for all sorts of embattled minorities but is now embracing anti-Semitism.

While the ACLU says its advocacy for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement is driven by free speech concerns and it “takes no position” on the merits of Israel boycotts, some anti-BDS lawmakers question that motivation.

“The anti-Semitic BDS Hate Movement has no greater asset today than the sophisticated legal support it receives from the American Civil Liberties Union,” said Arizona state senator Paul Boyer (R.), who sponsored anti-boycott legislation that was challenged by the ACLU, in a statement to the Washington Free Beacon. “The ACLU’s efforts in this matter showcase a stunning embrace of anti-Jewish bigotry and blatant hypocrisy that all civil libertarians should reject.” …

the BDS movement, which has been described as anti-Semitic by major Jewish organizations and the U.S. State Department. The organization has led legal challenges against anti-BDS laws in numerous states, including Arkansas, Arizona, Kansas, and Texas. The group has also registered to lobby against federal anti-BDS legislation from 2017 to 2020, according to lobbying disclosure records.

My first direct encounter with the ACLU was about 30 years ago and related to vaccine-requirements. What I learned from a representative when I telephoned the ACLU was that the focus of the group then was in opposing laws that restricted abortions. That was the only “civil liberty” the local chapter (Fresno California) would be interested enough in to get involved with. The ACLU also has a long history of NOT supporting religious rights as it prefers to push for what could be labeled as the atheist agenda.

The fact that the ACLU defends the morally indefensible related to Jewish discrimination is disappointing, but not a shock.

The Apostle Paul was inspired to write:

12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of … (Timothy 3:12-14)

Many hate biblical morality and consider those who agree with aspects of it promoters of hate. They are hypocritical imposters.

In addition to the ACLU promoting hate and murder, groups such as the Southern Poverty Law Center have listed churches as “hate groups” because they do not support “same sex marriage.”

Many organizations and leaders in the USA are hypocritical.

The Bible prophecy warns that God will punish and destroy “an hypocritical nation” (Isaiah 10:6, KJV) in a prophecy related to the USA.

Furthermore, the Book of Job teaches:

13 … And the hope of the hypocrite shall perish, (Job 8:13)

Notice that the Bible says to:

1 Cry aloud, spare not;
Lift up your voice like a trumpet;
Tell My people their transgression,
And the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)

This website is calling out the hypocrisy of the ACLU, the Southern Poverty Law Center today, and has called out the hypocrisy of Big Tech and various government leaders in the past.
