6000 Years: When will God’s Kingdom Come?

Did early Christians believe that Jesus would return 6000 years after Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden? if so, have we reached that 6000 years? If not, approximately what year is it? Are the Jews correct that it is 5778 anno mundi? If not, why is their counting off? What about the Seder Olam and ‘conventional chronology’? What about Archbishop James Ussher? According to Peter in Acts 2, should the 6000 years end by 2031? Can the 6000 years be up in the next seven years? What do we learn and not learn from the Bible on these matters? Does the Catechism of the Catholic Church teach that millenarianism is a doctrine of Antichrist? When will God’s kingdom come? Does the Bible teach this is important to know?
