G20 connectivity to lead to Middle East peace? Perhaps it will contribute to gathering at Armageddon?

The USA has been encouraging a project that some believe will help Israel economically as well as push the prospects of peace in the Middle East according to the Israeli-related press:

Infrastructure projects have been at the core of developing relations between Israel and the Arab world. The ambitious project, which Western leaders officially announced during the G20 summit in New Delhi this weekend, is part of a pioneering initiative to foster economic growth and political cooperation, building on the new possibilities created by the 2020 Abraham Accords and the normalization in relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel hoped for in early 2024.
“This link will also realize a multi-year vision that will change the face of the Middle East and Israel, and will affect the entire world,” Netanyahu said in a video statement. “Its vision reshapes the face of our region and allows a dream to become reality.”
Israel will be a “central junction” in this economic corridor, with Israeli railways and ports part of this new gateway, which will run from India, through the Middle East to Europe and back, the prime minister said.
“This is a big deal,” US President Joe Biden said. “This is a really big deal.”
The proposal to create the link, which would start in India and pass through the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Israel before reaching Europe, is also seen as the latest indication that a historic peace deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia is likely in the months ahead.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Saturday that the transportation project is not seen as a “precursor” to a normalization deal but he characterized Israel’s inclusion as “significant.”

Yesterday, I pointed out that this proposal helps connect Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, but not the USA (see G20, increasing connectivity without North America, and the Belt & Road Initiative).
Before going further, while we know God promised ancient King Solomon tremendous wealth (1 Kin gs 3:10-13), let me state that historians tend to believe that this happened because of Israel’s strategic location –and Prime Minister Netanyahu seems to be echoing that this proposal will greatly benefit Israel because of its strategic location.
That said, there are a couple of things to point out.
First, there is a discussion about a peace deal in the Middle East.
According to scriptures, such as Daniel 9:27 (see also The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:27), a temporary peace deal will come. Though, it is likely to take a regional war for that to be implemented.
The second point is that by adding more infrastructure, the G20 proposal along with China’s Silk Road project (now called its Belt & Road Initiative) and the European Union’s Global Gateway project, look to help with transportation for the gathering that will occur at Armageddon.
The term Armageddon is only used once in the Bible. It is associated with the sixth of seven bowls of God’s wrath:
1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.” (Revelation 16:1)
12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”
16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. (Revelation 16:12-16)
For the armies to gather, they must cross over land to get to Armageddon. The Silk Road and Global Gateway projects will make this easier. Assistance from the G20 project looks to also make this easier.
The place called Armageddon in scripture is located in the tiny nation of Israel.
Syria borders Israel to the north.
The kings from the east reference in Revelation 16 refers to Asian nations, including Russia and China, whose borders extends to the farthest ends of the north and the east.
50:41 “Behold, a people shall come from the north,
And a great nation and many kings
Shall be raised up from the ends of the earth.
42 They shall hold the bow and the lance;
They are cruel and shall not show mercy.
Their voice shall roar like the sea;
They shall ride on horses,
Set in array, like a man for the battle,
Against you, O daughter of Babylon.43 “The king of Babylon has heard the report about them,
And his hands grow feeble;
Anguish has taken hold of him,
Pangs as of a woman in childbirth…”(Jeremiah 50:41-43).
Notice also that the Bible shows Babylon tied together with birth pains/pangs to a group from a far country:
1 The burden against Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw.
2 “Lift up a banner on the high mountain, Raise your voice to them; Wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. 3 I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for My anger–Those who rejoice in My exaltation.” 4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, Like that of many people! A tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together! The LORD of hosts musters The army for battle. 5 They come from a far country, From the end of heaven–The LORD and His weapons of indignation, To destroy the whole land. 6 Wail, for the day of the LORD is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. 7 Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man’s heart will melt, 8 And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames (Isaiah 13:1-8).
Thus, both the accounts in Jeremiah and Isaiah seem related to the same invaders. This is referring to an end-time confederation that has a distance to travel–apparently a type of union of powers from the east.
Furthermore, a “far country” also seems to be tied to the powers of the east elsewhere in Isaiah:
11 Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it. (Isaiah 46:11)
We are seeing steps for such a confederation beginning to come to pass, as well as the infrastructure to get to Megiddo.

China is working on something known as the ‘Silk Road’ project or the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. NBC reports that China intends to spend one trillion dollars to build roads, bridges, railroads, and maritime facilities to reach from China to Europe and China to the Middle East. Over 60 nations, including Russia, are involved with this. Could this Silk Road project possibly produce thoroughfares that could be used by troops that will amass at Armageddon? Dr. Thiel discusses this project and some of its potential prophetic ramifications in this video.

EU’s Global Gateway, Trade, and War?
The European Union announced that it planned to spend €300 billion ($340 billion) in a program called ‘Global Gateway.’ According to EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen it is a “true alternative” to China’s Belt and Road Initiative, also known as the Silk Road Project. Both the EU and Chinese projects will improve road, ports, and/or other infrastructure to connect with Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Will this result in increased trade for Europe and Asia during the time of the Gentiles? Will Babylonian Europe dominate trade for a time? Will devastating war hit Europe with Russian and Eurasian involvement? Would infrastructure these projects are involved in be used for war? What about preparation for Armageddon? Dr. Thiel address these issues and cites biblical prophecies related to these matters.

So, the Chinese and Europeans are building infrastructure in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, like roads. And now with G20 involvement (which also includes India) we are getting closer to Armageddon and steps continue to be taken that are leading to it.
