France has been a thorn in the side of the march towards NATO expansion and US/UK-led dominance of policy for decades going back to DeGaulle. Even committed globalist leaders like Francois Hollande and Jacques Chirac opposed the way NATO has morphed since the end of the Soviet Union (see Alex’s brief history lessons for context). …

Macron was not playacting when he was blindsided by the AUKUS alliance and the cancellation of the submarine contract in 2021. His powerbase rests on keeping both the French military, held in very high regard by the French people, and the French military contractors happy.

Losing that contract was a major slap in the face to both. So, this lends some credence to Macron being the point man for the EU’s power play to control/undermine NATO and replace it with his long sought after EU Army. …

Macron is playing the long-game for Davos to get Europe independent from the US/UK security architecture of NATO while leading an internal French takeover of the EU itself. And don’t think for a second that he/Davos don’t want to flip this whole project on its head leaving the British as the serfs this time.

This is rankling the old British Neoconservatives and their partners-in-crime at the US State Dept., National Security Council, K-Street think tanks and the CIA. …

It’s no secret that the British are fuming about Defense Secretary Ben Wallace no longer in the line of succession to lead NATO. President Biden, now openly owned and operated by so many people he can’t possibly know who he’s representing anymore as the noose closes in around him at home, crushed Wallace’s candidacy to retain Jens Stoltenberg for another year as General Secretary.

Why Stoltenberg? Consistency in leadership to run out the clock. Because the true heir apparent Ursula Von der Leyen’s term is up next year as EU Commission President, that’s why. Von der Leyen is Klaus Schwab’s girl through and through. And her rising to the top of NATO is all just part of the real plan to deprecate NATO as the EU goes its own way. …

But nothing less than the fate of a 300 year project for world government hangs in the balance. Everyone of these horrific factions wants to rule the world but none of them have the means by themselves to pull it off. So, watching them maneuver each other into the line of fire would be hilarious if the stakes weren’t so freaking high for the rest of us.

Irrespective of whether or not EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen becomes the next head of NATO, the reality is that France’s Macron and many others want a military power that is not dependent upon the USA.

And, according to the Bible, not only will that happen, but it will destroy the USA in the future per Daniel 11:39 as a European “empire” will arise.

The surprise announcement of the new AUKUS alliance has predictably provoked an outcry from the European side of NATO, in particular France whose $90B plans with Australia were nixed without forewarning or mutual agreement. The entire fiasco only pushed the realization of a European continental army further along its path, a path that is all but inevitable and can only be either slowed or hurried by world events and political pressures.

As we wrote towards the end of August in ‘NATO’s Obsolescence’, the NATO alliance is coming undone and what we are seeing internationally is the rise of multipolarity. Distinct from the yearnings of idealists, multipolarity does not necessitate, (nor does it exclude), that the rising global blocs operate in some symphonic harmony towards global peace. But there is a kernel of truth: because it implies a change away from often violent attempts to build a one-world system based on the wildest fantasies of the Western banking establishment (popularly referred to as the ‘New World Order’), it creates an opportunity for harmony, as multipolarity rests upon spheres of influence and mutual recognition of sovereign hegemony.

AUKUS represents the failure of the Trans-Atlantic order rising after WWII (and emboldened by the collapse of the USSR and the Warsaw Pact) to transform into this ‘New World Order’ in the sense of a unipolar American century. But the solidifying of the U.S., UK, and Australia into something like AUKUS is also an entirely coherent development of the Five Eyes (UKUSA/FVEY) into something more. …

The ugly economic details of AUKUS have left France and NATO countries with the realization that the U.S. has sent a much larger signal than that particularly problematic $90B detail would indicate. The U.S. under Trump had been shifting its strategic emphasis away from realistically deflecting a Russian military intervention into Western Europe as NATO existed originally to do. Rhetoric and a few additionally planned exercises aside, this has not changed under the Biden administration. Trump’s efforts to push forward on burden shifting from the U.S. to NATO members in Europe in the form of a 2% of GDP commitment on military spending is not one that Biden will roll back, despite his administration’s formal commitment to rebuild U.S.-EU strategic commitments apparently undermined by the 45th presidential administration. Since then, the UK, USA, and Australia have been working to be even closer militarily and that will more upset the Europeans and get them to unite militarily. Canada has also expressed interest in joining AUKUS.

The UK, Australia, and USA, along with Canada and New Zealand are part of what is called the Five Eyes alliance. A club that Europe has wanted in, but thus far, has been kept out of.

There is a closeness between the Anglo-American nations.

Biblically, they are siblings (cf. Genesis 48; see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel).

Continental Europe is not in this Five Eyes club. It has wanted to be. And while those in Europe do not normally think that they will wish to destroy the USA (cf. Isaiah 10:7), the Bible shows that ultimately a primarily continental European power will (Isaiah 10:5-12; Daniel 11:39). The EU is not going to get over the UK’s decision to leave the EU (Brexit).

As far as the relationship of the Anglo-American nations to Europe, consider that the following prophecy shows that allies will be betrayed:

1 How lonely sits the city
That was full of people!
How like a widow is she,
Who was great among the nations!
The princess among the provinces
Has become a slave!

2 She weeps bitterly in the night,
Her tears are on her cheeks;
Among all her lovers
She has none to comfort her.
All her friends have dealt treacherously with her;
They have become her enemies. (Lamentations 1:1-2)

The USA, UK (AKA “Great Britain”), and Canada (including the other Anglo-Saxon-Commonwealth nations) were “great among the nations.” And the Bible is clear that betrayal is coming from national FRIENDS!

Many do not realize is that the USA does not control NATO like it did anymore. Initially, and basically for decades, NATO was built up under the direction of two US supreme commanders. But the situation has changed. Despite providing the bulk of the military armaments, the USA does not have legal control over much of NATO or what it can do anymore.

The current Secretary General of NATO is Jens Stoltenberg, the former Prime Minister of Norway, who took office on 1 October 2014. The Secretary General is responsible for coordinating the workings of the alliance, serves as the head of the North Atlantic Council, and leads NATO’s staff.

Furthermore, it should be mentioned that not all of Europe’s military is part of NATO. Europe has its own ‘independent’ forces, like PESCO, which some wish to see expand as well as seeing the expansion of a European military industrial complex. Bizarrely, there has also been a German General who commands the actual USA Army in Europe (see German general now commands the US Army in Europe).

Having Europeans command NATO as well as USA forces puts the USA in a vulnerable position any time the Europeans decide that they want to dominate and attack the USA–this is something that will be done (Isaiah 10:5-11; Daniel 11:39).

39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)

The ‘he’ above is the King of the North, a European power. It is the USA that currently has the ‘strongest fortresses.’ This prophecy will affect the USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies.

While some have improperly concluded that Russia is the prophesied “king of the North” of Daniel 11, that is not the case. Russia, thus, is NOT biblically the power that is prophesied to takeover the USA–Europe is (Daniel 11:39; cf. Revelation 13:1-4).

However, until then, Europe will take steps to increase its influence and military strength. Technology may be its key (see European Technology and the Beast of Revelation). Sweden and Finland have sometimes been known for their technological developments.

It is my view that Europe will likely attack the USA and/or the UK under the guise of a NATO (or some other defense treaty) exercise and use nuclear bombers.

While now is not the time–“the end it not yet” (Matthew 24:6; see also When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?)–many steps are taking place as Europe has been devoting a lot more resources to its military capacities.

As Europe strengthens militarily, this will put the USA in a position that it will later regret (cf. Daniel 11:39).

A new order will rise up. An order that the USA and its British-descendent allies will be defeated by.
