Muslim Brotherhood is still around and still plotting for an Islamic caliphate

Muslim Brotherhood

COGwriter

The Muslim Brotherhood is not gone. Today, I visited the group’s website. Under its Q&A section, there was the following:

The International Organization

The Muslim Brotherhood is a group established to promote development, progress and advancement based on Islamic references. Its principles and ideologies have succeeded in convincing many worldwide who have researched much about the movement, its founders and its leaders. http://www.ikhwanweb.com/article.php?id=29330

So, what is its movement about? What did its founder want?

Notice the following that was once at that same website:

The Muslim Brethren…believe that the caliphate is a symbol of Islamic Union and an indication of the bonds between the nations of Islam. They see the caliphate and its re-establishment as a top priority, subsequently; an association of Muslims people should be set up, which would elect the imam”. (zhyntativ. HASAN AL-BANNA AND HIS POLITICAL THOUGHT OF ISLAMIC BROTHERHOOD. IkhwanWeb, May 13, 2008. http://www.ikhwanweb.com/article.php?id=17065 viewed 09/22/11)

What is the Muslim Brotherhood?
The world’s largest and most influential Islamist movement…“The Islamic nation,” its charter states, “must be fully prepared to fight the tyrants and the enemies of Allah as a prelude to establishing an Islamic state”—ideally a re-established caliphate, stretching from Spain across the Middle East and Central Asia to Indonesia, to be governed according to Islamic sharia law. While the Muslim Brotherhood will not get all the territory it wants, it is likely to end up in some type of confederation with at least most of North Africa and the Middle East. This appears to be a Sunni Muslim goal and is consistent with the territory that the King of the South of Bible prophecy will lead (Daniel 11:40-43). And it has decided that having USA influence can help it attain its goals.

Although because a Muslim Brotherhood promoter (former Egyptian President Morsi) was removed from office and the new Egyptian government basically tried to eliminate it, the group still exists.

What triggered my visiting of its website today, was something that was recently reported about it:

We’ve often heard the familiar refrain after an Islamic terror attack – terrorism is a “perversion” of Islam, and Muslims who commit acts of terror are not truly following the faith.

However, the man who infiltrated the Council on American-Islamic Relations for six months begs to differ.

“We have to accept reality, Sean, and reality is that all these jihadi groups all over the planet tell us why they are fighting,” Chris Gaubatz told Sean Hannity during an appearance on the latter’s radio show.

“It’s interesting to me that all these groups, whether it’s Islamic State, al-Qaida, the Taliban, Boko Haram, al-Shabaab, the Muslim Brotherhood, fill in the blank – how is it that they’re all getting their version of Islam wrong in the exact same way?” …

Gaubatz has witnessed the inner workings of one of America’s largest Muslim organizations firsthand, having posed as a convert to Islam to gain a CAIR internship. He remained undercover for six months, gaining the trust of CAIR’s inner sanctum and collecting more than 12,000 pages of documents and hundreds of hours of video. He exposed CAIR’s role as a Muslim Brotherhood front group in supporting the international jihad movement against the United States.

The full story of his amazing undercover operation was told in the book “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America.”

Gaubatz told Hannity CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood share the same goal as many of the Islamic terror groups.

“The Muslim Brotherhood, which is working to influence our Senate Intelligence, Judiciary and Homeland Security committees, has the exact same ideology as the Islamic State and al-Qaida, which is to establish an Islamic state under Shariah,” he said. “That is why they are fighting the jihad, whether it’s in Manchester, whether it’s in Syria, or whether it’s CAIR influencing our homeland security right here in the United States.” 07/13/17 http://www.wnd.com/2017/07/man-who-infiltrated-muslim-group-islam-is-the-problem/

Notice another report related to the Muslim Brotherhood:

July 14, 2017

A 34-year-old Tunisian ISIS fighter captured by Kurdish forces in Raqaa recently spoke to reporter Jenan Moussa of Al-Aan TV. When asked why he had joined the terrorist organization, the fighter confessed that Ennahda — the Muslim Brotherhood affiliate in Tunisia — had encouraged young fighters to join the jihad in Syria.

It’s not a coincidence, then, that Tunisia had the largest number of foreign fighters in Syria.

This deflates much of the U.S. think-tank and media establishment narrative that the Muslim Brotherhood serves as a “firewall” against jihadist groups: https://pjmedia.com/homeland-security/2017/07/14/captured-tunisian-isis-fighter-confesses-muslim-brotherhood-encouraged-jihad-in-syria/

While the methods of the Muslim Brotherhood are normally not as horrific as the so-called Islamic State, it has similar objectives and will engage in tactics it thinks will help it reach its objective. And its objective is Islamic unity in order to try to make more of the world Islamic.

Regular readers of this page realize that the Bible tells of a confederation of nations in lands that are predominantly Islamic under a leader called the King of the South (Daniel 11:40-43). Though calling it a caliphate led by a caliph, this is what the Muslim Brotherhood wants and it has taken steps to encourage its formation.

Now while the Bible shows that this King of the South will be defeated, it should be noted that the USA itself will be eliminated before the King of the South is (cf. Daniel 11:39-43; see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).

Since few in Washington D.C. have much understanding of biblical prophecy, various ones have gone along with the type of pan-national confederation that the Muslim Brotherhood has advocated. And this includes its President Donald Trump (though he is not considered to be as much of a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood like Hillary Clinton was).

Some items of possibly related interest may include:

The Future King of the South is Rising Does the Bible teach that there will be a future King of the South in Daniel 11? Is this kingdom rising up now? Did the old Worldwide Church of God (WCG) teach that there would be another one? And who is the King of the South? How will this involve Egypt? Is the final King of the South some type of Arab-Muslim confederation? Can Iran be involved? Is there a group that seems to be supporting the goals of the King of the South? Has the Obama Administration supported the rise of this power? This sermon video answers those questions.
The Muslim Brotherhood and the Rise of the King of the South The Bible tells of the formation of a power of nations that are in the Middle East and North Africa that are part of the final “King of the South” (Daniel 11:40-43) The Muslim Brotherhood wishes to have an Islamic empire with basically the same nations. This YouTube video explains what to expect from such a confederation.
Is There A Future King of the South? Some no longer believe there needs to be. Might Egypt, Islam, Iran, Arabs, or Ethiopia be involved? Might this King be called the Mahdi? What does the Bible say?
The Arab and Islamic World In the Bible, History, and Prophecy The Bible discusses the origins of the Arab world and discusses the Middle East in prophecy. What is ahead for the Middle East and those who follow Islam? What about the Imam Mahdi? What lies ahead for Turkey, Iran, and the other non-Arabic Muslims? Trump Presidency Magic 8 Ball or Bible Prophecy? BBC reported that one might as well use a ‘Magic Eight-Ball’ to try to predict what will happen in the remaining time of Donald Trump’s presidency. What is a ‘Magic Eight-Ball’? Dr. Thiel not only explains that, but also briefly goes over 10 biblically-based warnings he wrote would happen if Donald Trump were elected that have already began to come to pass. He also goes over something he wrote back in 2008 that the Trump presidency is also helping lead to fulfillment. Should you trust Bible prophecy or not? Dr. Thiel says that Bible prophecy can be trusted, despite the view of skeptics and others that either overlook or despise the Bible. This is a video.
