The Americans constantly say that they’ve sent a warship toward Iran. Of course, a warship is a dangerous piece of military hardware. However, more dangerous than that warship is the weapon that can send that warship to the bottom of the sea.
This ‘counter-threat’ and warning was in response to remarks by Trump in which the president said the United States had not been able to destroy the Islamic Republic.

Anyone that thinks that a final showdown with Iran would be a nice, neat campaign that would be over in just a few weeks is not being realistic.
It certainly didn’t work out that way in Afghanistan or Iraq, did it?
The Iranians have spent the last six months feverishly preparing for the next war with the United States and Israel.
Weapons from Russia and China have been pouring in.
The Iranians are now in a far better position militarily than they were during the 12 Day War last year.
Of course U.S. preparations for the coming war also continue to ramp up. …
The nuts that are running Iran fully understand that the U.S. and Israel both want regime change.
And so Iranian leaders will use whatever tools they have at their disposal to prevent that from happening.
If it comes down to it, I believe that they would be willing to use biological and chemical weapons against Israeli cities and U.S. bases in the region…
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is developing biological and chemical warheads for the country’s long-range ballistic missiles, informed military sources told Iran International on Sunday.
The IRGC Aerospace Force is working on the unconventional warheads for ballistic missiles as it transfers missile launchers to eastern regions of Iran, the sources said.

There isn’t going to be a deal.
At this point, that should be obvious to everyone.
And even if Trump changed his mind and decided not to go in, the Israelis have already told us that they would go in anyway.

Despite its posturing and relative military strength, Iran will be somehow effectively neutralized (cf. Ezekiel 32:24). This could perhaps be from an attack involving Israel and/or internal civil unrest — this could also include electromagnetic (EMP) or similar weapons used against Iran (Jeremiah 49:34-39).
It is of prophetic interest to note that the small nation of Israel is prophesied to one day be attacked by some that seem to have a connection to Iran (Isaiah 22:1-14).
Iran may decide to strike out against Israel, and possibly Jerusalem (cf. Isaiah 22:7-8) if a Trump Administration and/or Israel takes actions it does not like.
Iran has weapons that can cause damage. Furthermore, the USA itself (as well as is the State of Israel) is vulnerable to EMP type attacks and items such as biological weapons, chemical weapons, terrorism, nuclear weapons, dirty bombs, etc. because of a conflict involving Iran, Syria, and/or others.
But should this occur, this would NOT be the final destruction of the USA. Prophetically, Iran would not end up faring well (cf. Ezekiel 32:24-25).
So, yes, Michael Snyder and I agree that Iran may well resort to chemical, biological, and other weapons that could cause damage to the USA as well as Israel. And yes, like Michael Snyder, I believe war is coming. But, while this is NOT the Apocalypse, it very well could be a factor in the coming peace deal of Daniel 9:26-27 which I would call the countdown to the Apocalypse that Jesus called the “great tribulation” (Matthew 24:21).
In Isaiah 22:1-14, the Bible shows that God will allow something that appears to be an Iranian-Syrian-Southern Lebanese confederation, to strike the nation of Israel.
In my view, Iran, Hezbollah, and some in Syria are most likely consulting with each other to determine how and when to launch a major attack against Israel. Some in Iraq may also be involved as there is a Shia-connection with Iran there.
Israel’s ‘Iron Dome’ and other defenses will not be able to protect Jerusalem against enough of the coming attack to prevent great damage.
That said, IF Jesus is to return between 2033-2034, then I expect a regional war involving Israel will occur soon. We will see.
