‘Europe needs to do 2 things to win the trade war,’ Donald Trump’s World Trade Organization views are leading to the rise of the Babylonian Beast

Business Insider reported how CITI thinks Europe could ‘win’ a trade war with the USA:

Europe needs to do 2 things to win the trade war — which would simultaneously damage the US economy and infuriate Trump

As the growing trade war between the Trump administration and the rest of the world threatens to boil over, Europe and European companies stand to be the biggest beneficiaries — if they play their cards right.

That’s according to some analysts at Citi, who believe the burgeoning conflict provides “a real opportunity” for Europe.

Citi’s weekly European economics note, compiled by a team led by Christian Schulz, argues that rising tariffs put in place by the Trump administration could allow European corporates to gain a competitive advantage over their American counterparts.

“Winning the trade war, albeit not from the sidelines anymore, remains a real opportunity for Europe,” the team wrote to clients …

The team’s thesis centers on two arguments.

First, the belief that while tariffs will hurt the businesses of European companies in the US, it will allow them to compete more aggressively with American firms in markets like China.

Second, that the US will damage its international reputation, allowing the EU to become the global trading partner of choice for major economies.

“European companies compete with US firms in key markets such as China and could win market share at the expense of their American counterparts,” Citi’s analysts wrote.

With the US placing tariffs on Chinese goods, and China retaliating in kind, it is likely that Chinese businesses will be more inclined to do business with European companies. …

Europe is already looking to take over (or more dominate) the World Trade Organization (WTO). That is consistent with the above report.

Donald Trump’s approach is helping the Europeans by giving them more credibility as the USA is getting less credibility with many of the nations it trades with (as well as those it sanctions).

President Trump has long made clear his dislike of the World Trade Organization (WTO), saying that the “World Trade Organisation is a disaster” on the campaign trail, and last week, it was reported that Trump wanted to turn his campaign suggestion to exit the WTO into a reality.

Now, Axios has obtained a leaked draft of a bill that is designed to do just that, called the “United States Fair and Reciprocal Tariff Act.”

The World Trade Organization, or WTO, was established in 1995 as a means to ensure the smooth functioning of international trade. …

It currently has 164 member countries, which represent 98% of the global GDP and 95% of all global trade.

The “United States Fair and Reciprocal Tariff Act” essentially bestows Trump (or any future president) with the power to determine any current or future tariff rates with countries—outside of the jurisdiction of the WTO.

As Axios explains, it circumvents two of the fundamental principles of the WTO: that of the “Most Favored Nation” and “bound tariff rates.” …

As I wrote last week (see ‘Trade apocalypse’ will lead to the fulfilling of prophecies in the Book of the Apocalypse), to avert what has been called a ‘trade apocalypse,’ Europe wants to rewrite the rules for international trade.

Essentially Europe will dominate the WTO or perhaps instead become an important near equivalent.

That is consistent with warnings in the Book of the Apocalypse, more commonly referred to these days as the Book of Revelation. That book teaches:

2 … Babylon … 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury. (Revelation 18:2,3)

The above is referring to the fact that nations of the world are prophesied to get wealthy trading with end time Babylon, which will be a European entity, that will have religious ties to the City of Seven Hills–the Church of Rome:

1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” (Revelation 17:1-2)

9 Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. … 18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.” (Revelation 17:9,18)

The Bible tells of a trading power arising in Europe that is tied to the City of Seven Hills. Europe, the United Nations, and the Vatican have stated that they have agreed on essentially the same future for the world. Now, Europe is getting an opportunity to better mold trade in its image–with its standards and, at least indirectly, its control.

One of the ways that this Babylonian European power will be able to dominate world trade is by developing/writing/controlling many of the rules for international trade.

Europe is intending to do that now and the President of the USA does not seem to realize where this will head! With more and more of the world upset by US President Donald Trump, Europe is seizing an opportunity–an opportunity that will result in it fulfilling various end time prophecies.

In December 2017, I warned in my article (and sermon 18 items to prophetically watch in 2018), 18 items to prophetically watch in 2018, that trade was an area to watch. In 2018, it certainly has been.

Others can now see how Europe may rise economically and dominate trade as the USA fades from dominance.

Trade will be a factor in what can be called World War III.
