India to Push for Greater Role with Russia & China in SCO Security

COGwriter

India wants to push for a greater role in an Asian security organization:

NEW DELHI: India will pitch for a greater role in the six-nation Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and an expanded partnership with it in stabilising Afghanistan when External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna goes to Beijing to participate in the grouping’s 12th summit June 6-7.  http://articles.economictimes.indiatimes.com/2012-05-27/news/31868432_1_sco-shanghai-cooperation-organisation-observer-status

While it may not get full SCO membership when the group meets in June, India wants to join in exercises of massive air and ground offensives aimed at going after the militants.

Sources point out that this will be the first time India will be involved in bloc war games.

The SCO includes China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Russia has been a major proponent of India’s active membership in the SCO.  http://www.wnd.com/2012/05/india-cozies-up-to-russia-china/

A couple of days ago, I added the following to my article India, Its Biblical Past and Future: Any Witness?:

Russia and China (who has some hesitation) has been working to get India and Pakistan to have a greater role in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) with them (http://rt.com/politics/russia-sco-pakistan-india-lavrov-076/). SCO is “a China backed security forum was set up in Shanghai in 2001. Its members included Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan” (http://ibnlive.in.com/generalnewsfeed/news/china-welcomes-proposed-accession-of-india-in-sco/1002465.html).

Why is this of possible prophetic importance?

Military cooperation from the “kings of the east” along with a 200,000,000 man army is predicted in the Bible:

13 Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them (Revelation 9:13-15).

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15 Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” 16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon (Revelation 16:12-16).

Only Asian forces, such as those in China and India, could put together a 200,000,000 man army.  The rates of aborting females in China and India (see 163 million aborted for being female. Prophetic ramifications?) may also be a motivating factor for an army that will likely be predominantly male (most military armies are predominantly male).  Interestingly, there were only about 100,000,000 males (including babies) on the entire earth when God had the Apostle John pen this prophecy (Rastogi VB, Kishore B.  A Complete Course in ISC Biology.  Pitambar Publishing, 1997, p. 24).  This means, despite those who claim that the Book of Revelation was fulfilled centuries ago, that the prophecy about the 200 million man army is for a time like we are now in.

In recent years, Russia has been repeatedly trying to become stronger and gain more influence and military cooperation throughout Asia (see also Russia Strengthening Ties to China and India, Russia Strengthening Ties to Pakistan, Russia Strenthening Military Ties with North Korea, and Russia’s Putin Still Working for Eurasian Union).  The final time of the Gentiles is rapidly approaching (Luke 21:24) and a group involving eastern leaders is prophesied to form. Russia’s Vladimir Putin has been pushing for a military confederation that in consistent with Revelation 9 & 16 as well as other prophecies in the Hebrew scriptures (for more details, please see Russia: Its Origins and Prophesied Future).

The moves by Russia, China, India, and others are consistent with the predictions in the Bible.

Although the emergence of this prophesied military cooperation gets relatively coverage from most of the media, steps aligning with Bible prophecy continue to move forward.

Evolutionist Claims Debate Will Soon Be Over?

Monday, May 28th, 2012

COGwriter

Notice the following about evolution:

NEW YORK — Richard Leakey predicts skepticism over evolution will soon be history.

Not that the avowed atheist has any doubts himself.

Sometime in the next 15 to 30 years, the Kenyan-born paleoanthropologist expects scientific discoveries will have accelerated to the point that “even the skeptics can accept it.”  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/27/richard-leakey-evolution-debate_n_1548766.html

Here is one point for each of the lines above:

  1. He is right that the skepticism will be over within the next 30 years as presuming that Jesus returns by then, no foolish anti-creationist arguments will continue.
  2. While Richard Leakey may be an atheist, earlier this year, the famous former-atheist Richard Dawkins, has realized that there could be a God (see Famous Atheist Actually an Agnostic).  Perhaps there is hope for Richard Leakey too.
  3. Evolutionists, beginning with Charles Darwin, have claimed since the 19th century that the fossil records would finally prove their theory (which is not really a theory, but an inaccurate model).  They know they have insufficient proof and continue to hope that some how, some day, they will have real proof.   But alas, they still do not.  Richard Leakey’s admission really means that evolutionists realize that they have insufficient proof.

As a scientist, I have long known that proponents of evolution treat the subject more like a religious view than a scientific theory. This is somewhat also what the Ben Stein movie Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed revealed (see Ben Stein’s Expelled).

Which was?

Scientists who challenge too many claims associated with evolution are shunned by many academic institutions, as there is a tremendous amount of pressure at most “leading” academic institutions to squelch research that is not in support of evolution because it will affect their beliefs.  Thus, many in the academic world accept, essentially like a false religion, that since many of their friends and colleagues believe the evolutionary nonsense, that it must have been proven true.  But it has not been.

While species variation is something that God programmed in His creation, evolution, as the explanation for the origin of life, is unscientific and false. It also requires students to accept a belief that violates other known laws of biological science.

Actually it is impossible for the non-living to become alive as it violates the scientifically accepted law of bio-genesis (life only comes from life).  But what if we allow the impossibility of spontaneous primitive life to have occurred?

The primitive life would have to die. Part of the reason for this is that even a single-cell is so complex, and so full of various biological subsystems, that scientists have learned that many systems are essentially necessary for life to exist or continue. Science recognizes that living organisms must be self-contained, eat, digest, and reproduce to continue to exist.

Spontaneously alive lined-up amino acids (with other substances coincidentally there) would die because:

1) All living organisms need biological structures such as organelles and membranes. Without a membranous structure, the proteins would ultimately diffuse and destroy the living organism. Living organism must be somewhat self-contained.
2) All living organisms need nourishment and direction. Since randomness would not have created the biological structure known as a DNA-containing nucleus (or some primitive equivalent), the cell would die. Even if it had some type of nucleus to provide direction, the nucleus would have to have come into existence with ability to determine what to eat and how to find food, another impossibility.
3) Proteins cannot survive without DNA and DNA cannot exist without proteins, hence there is no way both happened at the same time.
4) Even if the cell had all the above, it would die, because there would have been no reason for it to have spontaneously generated a digestive system in order to utilize the food.
5) Even if evolutionists are granted all the improbabilities and impossibilities this article discusses, the primitive life would quickly die out as there would have been no reason for it to have spontaneously generated an ability to reproduce, nor would it have any innate ability to do so.

Proteins cannot of themselves reproduce–they need DNA. “DNA cannot exist without proteins, and proteins cannot exist without DNA” (Pietzsch J. Understanding the RNAissance. c. 2003. http://www.nature.com/horizon/rna/background/understanding.html viewed 05/05/12). DNA can basically do nothing of itself, it needs proteins.

Does any scientifically rational person actually believe that they randomly developed and got together at the same time for life as we know it to exist without Divine intervention?

The answer should be obvious. No, unless they will overlook the facts.

It is in the Bible that we are told that when God made life He intended it to reproduce (Genesis 1:11,28,29). The idea of an ‘intelligent design’ by a Spirit being is the only explanation that does not defy scientifically provable knowledge–for all other explanations result in something that must die out.

By the way, God apparently expects humans to realize that He exists through various aspects of His creation. Notice:

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse (Romans 1:20).

Thus since life could not have randomly sprung forth, eaten, and reproduced, only a different type of entity (God) could have caused it to begin.

Evolution has led to the intentional ignorance of appropriate scientific methods. It became a religion for many in the 19th century, and remains one for many today.

Assad and Syria’s Latest Massacre

Sunday, May 27th, 2012

Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad (Source: Agência Brasil, Wikipedia)
بشار الأسد

COGwriter

Syria made the news for another massacre:

Washington Post – ‎27 May 2012

UNITED NATIONS – The UN Security Council on Sunday blamed the Syrian government for attacking residential areas of the town of Houla with artillery and tank shelling and also condemned the close-range killings of civilians there – but avoided saying who was responsible for the massacre of more than 100 men, women and children. The council said in a press statement after an emergency meeting that the “outrageous use of force” against civilians violated international law and Syrian government commitments under previous U.N. resolutions to stop all violence, including the use of heavy weapons in populated areas. It said “those responsible for acts of violence must be held accountable.”

Russia must act now to halt Assad’s slaughter May 27, 2012

That something utterly appalling happened outside the Syrian city of Houla on Friday is beyond doubt. As the sickening pictures of murdered children showed – pictures rightly reprinted by several British newspapers, including our sister paper The Independent on Sunday – many victims were children, at least some of whom had had their throats cut. Even as the Syrian authorities denied responsibility, blaming Islamists and terrorists, they conceded that at least 90 people had been killed. Of these more than 30 were children, slaughtered, as the pictures attest, in cold blood. Opposition activists accused pro-regime gunmen of the massacre.

The killings near Houla constitute the worst single incident in 14 months of often violent unrest in Syria. And while the full truth of it has yet to be told, the murderous spree seems to have followed the regime’s use of heavy weapons against protesters in the town, which is close to the heart of anti-regime resistance in Homs. Any such action by the forces of President Bashar al-Assad would have been in flagrant violation of the six-week-old ceasefire brokered by the UN and the Arab League…

By fortunate chance, the Foreign Secretary, William Hague, is visiting Russia today and Syria is to be added to the long list of bilateral issues on his agenda. Russia holds the key to tougher international action on Syria. After notoriously rejecting an earlier resolution, it voted for Kofi Annan’s mission, and it has at times seemed ready to countenance a Syria without Assad.

Time again for Obama to lead from behindMay 27, 2012

Today, Sunday morning newspapers around the world screamed with headlines announcing yet another tragedy out of Syria. Journalists inside the war-torn country report that forces aligned with Bashar al-Assad massacred at least 90 Syrians with indiscriminate mortar attacks on civilian targets; more than 30 children were among the dead.

The massacre in Houla is another example of how deadly Kofi Annan’s Syrian cease-fire has been for civilians who still believe the international community will actually do something to prevent further slaughter. After yesterday’s attacks, Syrians have reason to become increasingly bitter at the United States for sitting back over the past year and doing very little while Assad murdered 10,000 of his own citizens.

Obama renews push for Assad’s exit with Russian support‎ The Hill (blog)

May 27, 2012

President Obama is considering a new plan to push embattled Syrian President Bashar Assad from power, as violence in the country escalates.

The proposed agreement would force Assad to relinquish power but leave in place elements of his regime, similar to an arrangement which lead to Yemen’s transition from the rule of President Ali Abdullah Saleh last year, reported The New York Times on Sunday…

Reports said Obama brought up the proposal with Russian Prime Minister Dimitry Medvedev at last week’s G8 meetings at Camp David.

The Russian government is believed to be open to the proposal which could allow for Assad’s peaceful exit, preserve stability in the country during the transition, and allow Russia to maintain close-ties with its Middle East ally.

Obama is expected to discuss the plan further with Russian President Vladimir Putin next month, the Times reports.

Many are angry with Syria’s President Assad for not complying with various “cease-fires” he had agreed to support.

For some time, I have warned that Russia may turn against Syria’s Assad (see Russia disappointed, ‘We never supported Assad’s regime’).  Quelling dissent has not yet worked completely for President Assad, and the current massacre may be a problem for him.

While Russia, along with China, want to keep supporting Syria (and Iran), neither are so committed to Syria that they will not change their positions (how far Russia would really go in assisting Iran is also likely limited).

The Bible shows that Syria’s capital city Damascus (Isaiah 7:8) will be destroyed (Isaiah 17:1). Whether this will happen because of internal civil war or an attack involving Israel remains to be seen.  Syria’s Assad remains a close ally to Iran and Iran keeps taking steps, including one today claiming that it will continue to enrich uranium despite international concerns (see Iran: No reason to halt 20 percent enrichment) that may provoke a regional (with Israel) or larger war (the USA itself could sustain damage).  But whether it is involved in a war involving Israel or not, eventually, Damascus has to be destroyed, and probably relatively soon.

Russia (along with China) will try to do what is in its best interest. Syria is simply not important enough for Russia to back Assad under all scenarios. Russia may have supported earlier international statements against Syria if it had not felt so betrayed by what it thought it backed related to Libya last year and what the West ended up doing there. But just because Russia is not publicly encouraging the West to overthrow Syria militarily does not mean it simply will not support Syria against all odds.

If enough details of the massacre come out clearly tying it to President Assad’s regime, he may have found that he pushed Russia past what it can tolerate internationally.  Syria will change, now or later.

Much is going on in the Middle East. The King of the South will rise up (Daniel 11:40) and Syria (directly or indirectly) is likely to play a role in that occurrence. As well as end up being a supporter of that king–thus the situation in Syria must change.

As Jesus said in Mark 13:37, we all should watch.

TW: Muslim Brotherhood Leader in Egypt Wants ‘United States of the Arabs’ and Then Jerusalem

Sunday, May 27th, 2012

Jerusalem

COGwriter

In its latest TW News Prophecy E-Zine the Living Church of God has the following:

Muslim Brotherhood aims for Jerusalem.

Recently, a radical Muslim preacher told thousands of Muslim Brotherhood supporters in Egypt, “We can see how the dream of the Islamic caliphate is being realized, God willing, by Dr. Mohamed Mursi [the movement’s presidential candidate]… The capital of the caliphate–the capital of the United States of the Arabs–will be Jerusalem, God willing… Our capital shall not be in Cairo, Mecca or Medina… Yes, Jerusalem is our goal. We shall pray in Jerusalem, or die as martyrs on its threshold.”

Egypt is holding its presidential election at the time of this writing–an election many claim could “change the Middle East.”…this recent speech highlights the motive of many extreme Muslims–to gain control of Jerusalem.

Bible prophecy has long foretold that an end-time “king of the South” (likely involving or led by Egypt) will push for Jerusalem, only to be overrun by the European Beast power (Daniel 11:40-43). We appear to be witnessing the early signs of the formation of this “king of the South.” For more information on this sobering topic, review our booklet The Middle East in Prophecy.

Here is more related to this from a transcript of a video related to some of this:

Safwat Higazi: We can see how the dream of the Islamic Caliphate is being realized, Allah willing, by Dr. Muhammad Mursi and his brothers, his supporters, and his political party. We can see how the great dream, shared by us all – that of the United States of the Arabs… The United States of the Arabs will be restored, Allah willing. The United States of the Arabs will be restored by this man and his supporters.

The capital of the Caliphate – the capital of the United States of the Arabs – will be Jerusalem, Allah willing.

(Video: Muslim Brotherhood: “‘United States of the Arabs’ with Jerusalem as Its Capital”. May 9, 2012. http://daledamos.blogspot.com/2012/05/video-muslim-brotherhood-united-states.html)

The Muslim Brotherhood candidate Dr. Mursi/Morsi himself seems to have gotten the most votes in Egypt’s preliminary ballot for the presidency:

Egypt Race Pits Aide to Mubarak Against Islamist

May 27, 2012

By DAVID D. KIRKPATRICK and KAREEM FAHIM / The New York Times

CAIRO — The runoff to become Egypt’s first freely elected president is shaping up as a contest between two of the most powerful and polarizing forces in Egyptian society: political Islam or the leadership of the past.

After a wild and fluid two-month campaign by more than a dozen candidates, Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood and Ahmed Shafik, a former air force general who served as President Hosni Mubarak’s final prime minister, emerged with the most votes on Friday, according to independent tallies and the official state news media.

Mr. Morsi won about a quarter of the vote and Mr. Shafik slightly less…

Dr. Morsi, also, seems to have, amongst other things, overseen the website of the Muslim Brotherhood. That website has the following:

What is the Muslim Brotherhood?…
“The Islamic nation,” its charter states, “must be fully prepared to fight the tyrants and the enemies of Allah as a prelude to establishing an Islamic state”—ideally a re-established caliphate, stretching from Spain across the Middle East and Central Asia to Indonesia, to be governed according to Islamic sharia law. (Understanding the Muslim Brotherhood. February 14, 2011. © The Muslim Brotherhood. http://www.ikhwanweb.com/article.php?id=28019 viewed 11/21/2011)

According to many Muslims, “Allah’s land” is supposedly all nations from Spain to Indonesia, yet it will not end up with Spain if I understand certain aspects of Bible prophecy correctly.  However, the confederation of the final King of the South, apparently like this so-called “United States of the Arabs,” may go from around Western Sahara and/or Mauritania to Oman (with possible coordination with Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan and/or Indonesia).

And as far as Jerusalem goes, many in the Muslim Brotherhood want Jerusalem to be the capital of its caliphate. Those in the nation of Israel, of course, do not want that, but the goal of the Muslim Brotherhood is essentially to eliminate that nation. The anti-Israeli group Hamas is political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in Gaza.

The Bible warns that Jerusalem would be a focal point at the time of the end:

20 But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. (Luke 21:20)

15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. (Matthew 24:15-17)

There is also an interesting end-time prophecy related in Jerusalem that seems to be fulfilled regularly:

3 And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. (Zechariah 12:3)

The following suggests that Jerusalem will likely be divided:

2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. (Zechariah 14:2)

News items have come out indicating the EU, as well as the current UN Secretary-General (Ban Ki-moon) want to divide Jerusalem now–the captivity will come later to fulfill Zechariah 14:2 (see Will the Anglo-Nations be Divided?).

At first, this is what the Palestinians and others (like the Muslim Brotherhood) will accept–a divided Jerusalem–but that is not the end goal of the King of the South (though he, even if he gets Jerusalem without European control, will really only have it an incredibly short time).

One of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood may well become the King of the South that the Bible foretells (Daniel 11:40).

Many events are aligning with the COG understanding of prophecy. More will as well.

Watch (Mark 13:37).

Ron Weinland Falsely Claims ‘Work of the Two Witnesses is Over’

Sunday, May 27th, 2012

VS.

COGwriter

In CGPFK/CGPKG’s Ronald Weinland first sermon of (5/27/12, titled Pentecost to Pentecost), he stated (this is from my notes, not an online transcript, so their could be minor issues, plus I added the location of the scripture he cited twice):

We have proven, by how we live, who we are…We have followed the way God has led us…It’s just a bit farther…

Pentecost 2012 is being proven incorrect for the return of Jesus Christ…Does that negate that I am God’s witness and prophet?  Absolutely not!…

It will be on a Pentecost that Jesus will return…We just didn’t know there would be a little more to the race…Jesus Christ is to return on Pentecost…

All have to examine, reexamine, where they are…So many things we have not understood.  The work of the two witnesses is over…We are going into a different phase…

Mockers…have to excuse away what they do not want to hear…

There is no contradiction in God’s word…

There is only one answer to where we are…

Jesus Christ must return on Pentecost…What does it mean?..

And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. {Acts 2:19-21}

Beautiful.  I think of the 63,000…There is so much coming brethren.  So much that is exciting…The three and a half years is finished.  The job of the two witnesses is complete.  My job as a prophet and apostle continues…

Is this {Acts 2:19-21} teaching that the sun will turn into darkness before the Day of the Lord?  No, no, no…In the New Testament, especially, things are messed up…they don’t have the grammar…

Mockers…people will have a ‘hay day’ with it…

You can run another year…

More in 2008 in God’s Final Witness will come to pass…Now we can see…

What follows the work of the two witnesses now being completed?  We move forward…

Jesus Christ did not eternally exist…

It is in God’s hands…I understand the outrage that some will manifest by these words…God has brought us to this point in time…

We move forward ever thankful for the last 3 1/2 years we have not suffered {physically} as we could have…

A few things have to happen..for Europe…to grant people more time for repentance…

Now we move forward and continue on…We are going to be waiting another year.  For we know it has to occur on Pentecost…We are God’s true church.  There is nowhere else to go.

Let’s consider these matters.  Ron Weinland has once again proven that he was a false prophet.  He did not follow God’s way or God’s word–yet tries to claim otherwise.

Ronald Weinland is right that people who follow him should reexamine where they are and that there is no contradiction in God’s word.  Because of that, they should not stay and support him.  His teachings often contradict God’s word.

The only one answer to the truth about Ronald Weinland, is not his explanation, but it is that he is a false prophet, was not one of God’s two witnesses, and he is also a false apostle.

While he is claiming that mockers “have to excuse away what they do not want to hear,” is it not he and those that follow him that have to overlook the truth that Ron Weinald was wrong and thus clearly was a false prophet?

The job of the two witnesses has not even formally started, yet Ron Weinland is claiming that it is over.  He made false declarations on this.  The truth is that Ron Weinland himself was never one of the two witnesses and never fulfilled any of the prophecies related to them in Revelation 11:3-10 (see also Who Are The Two Witnesses?).

Furthermore, Jesus Christ has eternally existed (Jesus is God, But Became Flesh).  Those who deny that are false teachers (those who are unsure should check out the article Was Unitarianism the Teaching of the Bible or Early Church? and Binitarianism: One God, Two Beings Before the Beginning).

CGPFKG is not a Church of God, it is the Church of Ron.  There certainly are other places his followers can go if they are willing to accept the truth (see, for example, the article Which COG for You?).

Perhaps I should add that he spent a fair amount of time complaining about how he feels that New Testament translators misunderstand Greek grammar (more than I quoted from the sermon), and he was trying to claim that is why people misunderstand what the Bible teaches about prophetic events.  Of course, the fact that he insisted that Jesus would return by now proves that he has not understood many prophetic matters from the Bible.

Those who are listening to him now need to realize that this is the same Ron Weinland who previously declared all of the following:

If we come to the point in time where what I’ve said doesn’t come to pass, the reality is that I’m just a false prophet. That’s the bottom line…The reality is if it doesn’t happen, then you’re just false…I’ll acknowledge my error, my wrong, if I’m wrong (The Edge Radio, December 15, 2007)

You know, one of the things as well, what if Ron Weinland, what he says doesn’t come to pass in April, what if these things don’t happen in 2008. I think about, you know, what have I said in interviews? There’s really a simple answer. False prophet. You know, I get tons of email, I get email every day from people saying, “Well I guess in 2009,” a lot of sarcasm comes out, “I guess you’re gonna be saying this or saying that or trying to explain to people”, No, I’m done. (Sermon, Stay the Course, Part 1, December 2007)

If by Pentecost I’m just going to make this real clear to everyone. If by Pentecost it is not powerfully and abundantly clear that there has been a great deal of destruction that will clearly encompass a third of all plant life in the US and at least the clear results of this mingled with blood the death of very much animal life and the beginning of large numbers of human life then I will stop preaching. Just so all the critics and everyone out there will understand. I am true to my word in these things. OK? And for all the critics if by the end of July and for most likely around Pentecost if nothing has clearly caused great destruction and death I will make it very clear that I was a false prophet. I will do exactly what I said I would do on all of those interviews that I have held; to do less, aah well, would be quite insane. (Weinland R. Three More Weeks–quote from near the 1 hour 28 minute point from the CGPFK website version. Sermon given March 29, 2008).

If it doesn’t pan out the only thing I would do is uh . So if I responded to anything at all was to explain to people I was a false prophet that’s the only answer. That I’m no longer a minister. (Mike McConnell Show.  April 7, 2008)

If things do not by mid-June very clearly so, I will make it clear that I was a false prophet and I will never preach again (James Whale Show. April 10, 2010)

So, if I’m not a prophet I’ll reason with you accordingly and be open with you about it…So often for those who do not believe that I’m a prophet, the question is asked, “What will you do if these things do not come to pass?” And I’m going to answer that more fully in this particular sermon today…So again, some cannot wait for me to say that I am not a prophet, or to say that I am a false prophet. Indeed, no one has long to wait do they? Isn’t that amazing? May 27, 2012 is not too far away and if Europe hasn’t risen by early 2012 and if China does not begin destroying the earth before that date, then the reality would be manifest much sooner, obviously. You don’t have to wait until 2012.  As far as the question they ask; what would I do? Well, first I’d repent before God and the Church. I’d acknowledge my sin and pray that God have mercy upon me for being so horribly presumptuous. Candidly (and some are going to really hate hearing this), I’d deeply repent of all those things that concern prophecies that I have given in the office of a prophet…I’d go back through all 57 Truths and eliminate those that are shown to be untrue, repenting as I did so; but I would hold fast to all that I believed to be true. (Weinland R. A Final Plea, With Judgment – Pt. 1. March 12, 2011)

This 5/27/12 sermon is the first of Ron Weinland’s sermons that I have listened to in its entirety for a while.  He did not resign or sound repentant to me.  he clearly is still preaching and claiming to be God’s prophet, despite stating that he would stop if he was wrong.  In my view, Ronald Weinland has again failed to truly repent–he mainly indicated that his understanding of matters is changing as God supposedly leads him.  And though he admits some of his teachings were wrong (though not with those words and not in a way that hinted of real repentance), he says he plans to continue.

The scriptural passage that I would like to mention here would be the following:

21 “And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’– 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him (Deuteronomy 18:21-22).

How many times does Ronald Weinland have to be wrong for his followers to open their eyes and believe the Bible over him?

In his 5/27/12 sermon, Ron Weinland read from letters (emails presumably) from supporters who will still be supporting him.  And he also mentioned that his church has so far disfellowshiped at least one person who did not like Ron Weinland’s explanation in his 5/26/12 post about the non-return of Jesus.

Ronald Weinland is sadly still fulfilling 2 Peter 2:

2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber (2 Peter 2:1-3).

Today is Pentecost.  This is a day that the Bible called for repentance:

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  (Acts 2:37-38, KJV)

Having realized that they were wrong, Ron Weinland and his followers should repent, not declare that they are part of the true church and continue as they have been.

Ron Weinland and his followers need to realize that what they have been teaching about prophetic matters (and Jesus Christ) is wrong.  Today, they need to repent.

Some have asked why cover Ron Weinland so much this month?  There are several reasons that I will list below:

  1. He has spent a great deal of money advertising on the internet lately which generated a lot more interest in what he teaches.
  2. He claims to be a Church of God leader and I want people to realize that I do not believe that he, who denies the deity of Christ, can possibly be part of the COG.  He is not.
  3. For the first time in nearly four years, “Ronald Weinland” is the top Google search term that people used that came to COGwriter.com in any specific month.  The fact is that I am NOT promoting his message, but instead providing information to thousands that are interested in learning why he is not who he says he is.
  4. Since his predictions have proven to be wrong within the last 24 hours, I believe that this is a time to reach out to those who have followed him to explain why he had to have been wrong, and why they should not, according to the Bible, continue to follow him any more.
  5. He keeps trying to put his ‘spin’ on what is happening, and my hope and prayer is that his followers will instead check out what I am reporting with the Bible to see that his repeated ‘smooth words’ are often in contradiction to scripture.
  6. Today is Pentecost and is a time to call for repentance and true conversion.
  7. I again wish to call for him and his followers to repent.  Most of the Jews and many others thought that they were the part of God’s church, yet the Apostle Peter said they still needed to repent and this message is still applicable to those who have followed Ron Weinland.

And yes, while I expect to mention Ron Weinland from time to time in the future, he should again get less coverage here as his internet reach should plummet again and there will be less interest that he is generating.

(Because of Ron Weinland related matters, the false self-appointed apostle David Pack of the Restored Church of God, decided to quote me and throw insults to me.  His quotes and comments are shown on the News of those once affiliated with the Global Church of God page with the 5/27/12 a.m. date.)

Deception is a powerful thing, but through Jesus it can be overcome (Philippians 4:13).  Believe God, for “he who does not believe God has made Him a liar” (1 John 5:10).

Please do not let false prophets and false apostles like Ron Weinland turn you away from the God of the Bible.  Today is Pentecost, the appropriate time to repent.

Today is Pentecost, It Pictures More than the Start of the NT Church

Artist Depiction of Pentecost (Cadetgray)

COGwriter

Today is the Day of Pentecost for 2012.  Unlike other biblical holy days, some version of the Day of Pentecost is observed by a lot of mainstream churches, both Catholic and Protestant. And of course, since Pentecost is a biblical holy day, it is observed by Church of God groups like the Living Church of God. Pentecost is the day that the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles in the shape of fire (Acts 2:3-4).

Most groups that profess Christ consider that Pentecost marked the formal beginning of the New Testament church.  And that is true.

Since the Holy Spirit was given on the Day of Pentecost, based upon the date and practices that God gave the children of Israel in the Old Testament, it is logical to conclude that the Old Testament can give us some insight into its meaning.

First of all the term Pentecost is a Greek term meaning 50th. That term is derived from the following Hebrew description of calculating the date:

And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath (Leviticus 23:15-16).

The Day of Pentecost has several names, and because of that, some have been confused about it. Its other names in the Bible include, the Feast of Harvest, the Feast of Weeks and the day of firstfruits:

… the Feast of Harvest, the firstfruits of your labors (Exodus 23:16).

And you shall observe the Feast of Weeks, of the firstfruits (Exodus 34:22).

Also on the day of the firstfruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the LORD at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation (Numbers 28:26).

While some Protestant commentators (e.g. Radmacher E.D. ed. The Nelson Study Bible. Thomas Nelson Publishers, Nashville, 1997, p213) refer to the wave sheaf offering as the feast of firstfruits, this is a misnomer. While “a sheaf of firstfruits” was offered then (Leviticus 23:10), as shown above, the Bible refers to the Feast of Weeks as the time of firstfruits (not simply one sheaf). And, as shown below, it refers to the time of counting fifty as being associated with firstfruits:

Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the LORD. You shall bring from your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven. They are the firstfruits to the LORD (Leviticus 23:16-17).

Does the term firstfruits help us understand this day?  It should.

The New Testament, also, does discuss some concepts associated with firstfruits.

Paul also wrote the following:

Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit (Romans 8:23).

Recall that it was the Holy Spirit that was first given on the Day of Pentecost. And that was a type of the firstfruits of the Spirit.

Who are the firstfruits?

These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb (Revelation 14:4-5).

In the Old Testament, God said:

“I found Israel Like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers As the firstfruits on the fig tree in its first season. But they went to Baal Peor…” (Hosea 9:10).

So originally, physical Israel was like the firstfruits on the branches of a fig tree, but they were unfaithful. In the New Testament, Paul alludes to this and Christians when he wrote:

For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either (Romans 11:16-21).

So while physical Israel was intended to be firstfruits, it was replaced by Christians as the firstfruits. And those firstfruits began on Pentecost.

But what about Jesus? Wasn’t He a type of firstfruits?

Yes, He certainly was. Paul notes:

But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming (1 Corinthians 15:20-23).

Christ is the fulfillment of the wave sheaf offering in Leviticus 23:10. He is the sheaf of firstfruits. He also fulfilled that role when He ascended into heaven on the Sunday (the wave sheaf offering was on a Sunday) after He was resurrected (John 20:1,17). But neither He nor His true followers observed what is now called Easter.

Also, James notes that Jesus brought us forth to also be a type of firstfruit:

Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures (James 1:18).

So while Jesus was the original firstfruit to represent the wave sheaf offering, true Christians are a kind of firstfruits, represented by the Day of Pentecost. “Firstfruits” mean that only a few will make it in this age–but they also imply that there will be a greater harvest–a time where all who never had an opportunity for salvation will later have an opportunity (for more scriptural references, please read the article Universal Offer of Salvation: There Are Hundreds of Verses in the Bible Supporting the Doctrine of True Apocatastasis).

Notice what the Apostle Peter stated on Pentecost:

Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses (Acts 2:29-32).

Notice that Peter, on Pentecost, referred to Jesus as fruit and that He was raised.

Now Jesus was not only the first of the firstfruits, He was also the firstborn among many brethren:

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren (Romans 8:29).

Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead (Revelation 1:5).

Since Jesus is the firstborn, this certainly implies that there will become others who are to be like Him. Thus, becoming like Jesus Christ is also part of the message of Pentecost.

In addition to marking the beginning of the NT church, Pentecost helps us better understand God’s plan of salvation.  Most who profess Christ and observe this day seem not to realize how “firstfruits” tie in with this holy day.

TW Warns About Germany, EU Sends USA a Warning

Saturday, May 26th, 2012

Berlin Reichstag

COGwriter

In its latest TW News Prophecy E-Zine the Living Church of God has the following:

“One Nation (Under Germany)”

Noted economic historian Niall Ferguson observed in a recent interview that the only real solution to Europe’s financial crisis is a full fiscal union–a true United States of Europe–that would be unquestionably under the leadership of the financial powerhouse, Germany. Ferguson believes Europe could limp along for a while with Greece falling into step with EU demands and Germany digging deeper into its wealthy pockets. However, he states that while “I am not a federalist… the costs of the single currency disintegrating are really so high and would impact so many people, that the only responsible thing for me to do is to argue urgently for the next step to a federal Europe. I see no alternative at the moment that isn’t a great deal worse” (Sunday Times, May 20, 2012).These sobering observations echo ancient Bible prophecies that have long foretold the rise of a German-led European Beast power comprised of “ten kings” or nations (Daniel 2:41-43; Revelation 17:12-17). It is sobering to see the ancient prophecies coming to pass and to realize that God is bringing to pass what He has predicted in His word (Isaiah 46:8-11). For more on this fascinating topic, see our article Resurgent Germany: A Fourth Reich?

According to Bible prophecy, a European power dominated by the descendants of Assyria, despite its fragility, is destined to temporarily be the most dominant force in the world, ultimately conquer the Anglo-descended nations (Daniel 11:39), and later come to its end (Daniel 11:45).

We in the Living Church of God have long taught that Germany (Assyria in end time prophecy) would be the driving force in the end-time European Beast power as well as having a future role in God’s kingdom. Germany has been the main economic engine behind the EU (the Netherlands is also a major, but sometimes overlooked, major economic power there as well).

We believe that over time, Germany will get more and more powerful and that an even stronger union will form in Europe as well as be part of a horrible deal with the Arabs (Psalm 83:4-8). While many still doubt that the Europeans can succeed against the militarily powerful USA, notice that in the following prophecy that the King of the North wins:

39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)

The “he” above is the King of the North (Daniel 11:40) and he beats the land with the strongest fortresses–that would be currently be the USA, probably along with its Anglo-allies.

Germany and the rest of Europe are not ready yet, but events continue to move in that direction.  Notice that the EU just issued a warning to the USA related to its debts:

Europe to US: Avoid the ‘fiscal cliff’

May 26, 2012 excerpt…

European leaders are calling on the U.S. to be sure and steer clear of the “fiscal cliff” coming at the end of the year, for the good of the global economy.

While European nations are grappling with a debt crisis on their own continent, European Commision President Jose Manuel Barroso and European Council President Herman Van Rompuy are also concerned about fiscal struggles afflicting other nations, in particular the United States and Japan.

In a letter sent to all members of the European Union, the two called for the others to adopt “credible medium-term fiscal consolidation plans.” The letter came in advance of a June meeting of the G20 powers in Mexico…they wrote. “In this regard, the EU should urge the US and Japan to implement credible medium-term fiscal consolidation plans, in particular to avoid the ‘fiscal cliff’ in the US at the end of the year.” http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/229657-europe-to-us-avoid-the-fiscal-cliff

The Bible warns that a highly indebted nation (one who loads “pledges”) can be taken over:

6 “Will not all these take up a proverb against him,
And a taunting riddle against him, and say,
‘Woe to him who increases
What is not his — how long?
And to him who loads himself with many pledges’?
7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly?
Will they not awaken who oppress you?
And you will become their booty.   (Habakkuk 2:6-7)

This could apply to the USA which is the most highly indebted nation in the history of humanity.  It is of prophetic interest that the EU is essentially warning the USA about it now.

And the USA will apparently not heed this warning properly from the EU or the one from the Bible to its peril.

Ron Weinland Now Somewhat Asking for Extension

VS.

COGwriter

CGPFK/CGPKG’s Ronald Weinland today (5/26/12) has now posted:

We have believed this to be a matter of timing for sundown in Jerusalem toward the end of May 26th. As I write this, that time is just about here and nothing has begun in the world that would signal the need or purpose for that reality—Christ’s return. Yes, it could still take place, as the timing in this present day of a worldwide observance of God’s Sabbath is still ongoing…

Yet I feel compelled to write this post, as I strongly feel it is necessary for God’s people right now. I will still look for the possibility of Christ’s coming right up until the very end of this Sabbath on earth…

By the end of this day, in the last time zone for this Sabbath day, if Jesus Christ has not begun his return to this earth, then we will do as a minister in the Netherlands said to me today concerning what God admonishes His people to do, “We move forward.”..

So candidly, I am disappointed that Jesus Christ hasn’t begun his return. But I am also excited to know that there remains a short work in front of us.

Ronald Weinland has once again failed to repent as he should for misleading people, but at least there is a partial admission of error.

As I posted earlier today, according to the Bible, it is not possible for Jesus to come today or tomorrow (see Weinland Wrong: COGwriter Did Not Die, LA Not Nuked).

The Bible was never wrong.  Yet, once again Ronald Weinland is.  Please do not let false prophets and false apostles like Ron Weinland turn you away from the God of the Bible.

Weinland Wrong: COGwriter Did Not Die, LA Not Nuked

Saturday, May 26th, 2012

VS.

COGwriter

In CGPFK/CGPKG’s Ronald Weinland last post (5/23/12), he stated:

Having said all this, as it has been said so many times before over the past 14 years, we have now come to the end and Jesus Christ is now going to return on May 27th… Thank God that the resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire is so short lived…this union will only experience power together for one hour…

The final event that is coming upon God’s Church that was scattered is one they all will come to personally experience and cannot deny—for all other warnings, pleas, and admonitions have been denied and ignored. Nuclear war cannot be denied! Neither can the death of 7,000 previously baptized members be ignored (denied) which will consist mostly of those in leadership and especially those in the ministry…

This matter of 7,000 dying is the story that follows the job God gave to his two end-time witnesses. His own witnesses to His own Church have been rejected, mocked, and ridiculed…A nuclear war has erupted and Jesus Christ is returning in the atmosphere of this earth. God’s two witnesses are changed from mortal to immortal. Then 7,000 “named” (literally named by God and not random) individuals die, which includes first and foremost the ministry and other leading and well known people in the scattered groups. It also includes those who push themselves forward as “teachers” or individuals who are in the “know” about matters in God’s Church, especially in their attacks against God’s witnesses.

And Ron Weinland’s May 12, 2012 sermon included the following:

So what is it, 7:30ish before Pentecost begins in Jerusalem, it’ll be 6:30ish – somewhere around there – on the Sabbath. You’ll be almost to the end of your Sabbath. In the States, in the eastern time zone it’s around 12:36…But please understand, those who live 40-50 miles away you may not get back… that’s Los Angeles…And what’s going to take place, especially with Russia and China and what they finally do, it says they destroy a third of the earth. That’s very clear language. They destroy a third of all the earth. And the United States is not going to escape that, Great Britain is not going to escape that, Europe is not going to escape that. So there are some cities in some places that aren’t going to be a great place to be in some respects.

Ronald Weinland has the “last hour” occurring no later than from 11:37 a.m. – 12:37 p.m. EDT (for the Eastern USA) today, as sunset in Jerusalem May 26, 2012 is 7:36/7:37 p.m. today (depending upon which sunset calculator one looks at).  Jesus is supposed to return, according to Ronald Weinland at the start of Pentecost in Jerusalem.  And although many of his followers will likely still wait until sometime tomorrow, the reality is that Jesus is not coming this month.

As I post this, we supposedly are in the middle of Ron Weinland last literal hour–and by the time most of you read this that hour will be up (it would be 9:37 a.m. on the West Coast of the USA and I am posting this just past 9:00 a.m. PDT, 12:00 p.m. EDT).  As of now, there are no news reports of the world, or Los Angeles, being destroyed by a nuclear war, nor any that a new power in Europe has risen up (Weinland’s followers can check this out for themselves if they doubt me)–and there should have been if Ron Weinland was right.  Of course, as regular readers of this page know, I have never been wrong about any of the specifics I have denounced Ronald Weinland for these six plus years, and he always has been wrong on them.

And also, and of some interest to me, COGwriter is not dead.  For years, Ronald Weinland has been seemingly obsessed with the fact that COG leaders have not accepted him as a prophet nor one of God’s two witnesses.  Back in 2006, he wrote about the deaths of some of them being one of the first signs:

The most notable deaths early on, which are yet to come to pass, will be the two remaining television presenters in the Living Church of God.

The sound of this thunder will be intensified by the early deaths of the leaders of the Philadelphia Church of God, the Restored Church of God and the Church of the Great God. Then, those in the largest scattered group, who think they have escaped, will be lifted up to believe that God is with them because they are so filled with pride. But, when that happens, the deaths of many in the United Church of God will begin (Weinland R. 2008 – God’s Final Witness. Copyright © 2006 by the-end.com, inc., Cincinnati. Published October, 2006, p. 107-108).

In 2008, in his sermon prerecorded for 4/19/2008, he took this a step further:

You don’t understand the power of God and what He has given me to do…

And my first exercise in use of power, that God has granted me in Revelation 11, is to you, you mockers…Truly.

It begins with you, first and foremost.

You will be the first to experience…You don’t have to wait long.

For those who mock, again, from this day forward, by what you say against God’s people, by what you say against God’s truth, by what you say against God’s truths, by what you say against God’s prophets, you will suffer from sickness that will eat you from the inside out. And you will die. Your death will not be quick…

So according to Ronald Weinland, those who point out why he is wrong do not understand and thus he called for their deaths. Those in CGPFK may ask themselves why it is that Ronald Weinland has been suffering from the inside out in 2010 because of his appendicitis.  It was so believed to include me personally, that on June 11, 2008, one of his supporters claimed that I was not posting as much about Ronald Weinland because I allegedly was ill from the result of the curse (see Desperation of a Weinland Follower). He wanted me to come clean publicly and admit that I was afflicted by the curse. But instead, my health, was and still, is excellent. Hence, that curse did not affect me then, nor now.

In 2009, Ron Weinland wrote:

And there are those who have condemned me for what I wrote in the book concerning the death of many ministers who where part of the scattering in God’s Church, especially of specific leaders that were mentioned. God has clearly revealed to His Church that I am the “Elijah to come,” and not in “type,” but in fullness of spirit and power. Elijah was known most by what he did to several hundred false prophets. He killed them! (Weinland R. The “ELIJAH TO COME”. December 24, 2009. posted at www.ronaldweinland.com).

Although I have not personally verified that others associated with the COGs have not died today, I have seen no reports that any have (and it is always possible that someone can die), I can verify that I have not died.  Other than for the obvious reasons, why should that be important to followers of Ronald Weinland?

Well, supposedly people like me (and apparently, specifically including me) are supposed to also be part of the 7,000 that died by now per his 5/23/12 post.

Why COGwriter?  In addition to the fact that I was apparently a major subject of his 4/19/08 sermon curse, I seem to have been the one posting against him for the longest time (over 6 years now).  I am also one of the only ones that regularly reports against him who is actually part of a Church of God (many of the anti-Weinland sites are ran by those now outside the COGs).  So, he now has yet another false prediction.

His often severe complaints and cursings about his critics should prove that it is Ron Weinland’s pride and hatred that has always been a motivating factor for him.  And, perhaps this would be the time to remind everyone that the self-appointed false apostle, David Pack of the falsely titled Restored Church of God, seems to have similar issues with pride and hatred as he falsely declared various COG leaders, as well as also specifying COGwriter, as part of the Synagogue of Satan (see also RCG’s David Pack Says COGwriter, Dr. Meredith, COGs, etc. ‘Part of Synagogue of Satan’ for more details).  Apparently, the false self-appointed have severe trouble understanding that those of us who have proven them false will not follow them.

Now, my article Concerns About Ronald Weinland’s Church of God-Preparing for the Kingdom of God has the following that those who still are part of his group need to think about:

Revelation 13:16-18 is clear that the 666 power will control buying and selling and try to prevent people from doing that who do not have the “mark of the Beast” (Revelation 13:16-17)–there is no way that this is supposed to only happen for one hour (especially if that one hour is supposed to be Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Europe). People could without any worry not buy things for one literal hour and would not fear not having the “mark” to stop buying for 60 minutes.

Furthermore, it simply is not possible that the Great Tribulation began 12/14/2008 as Ron Weinland proclaimed.  That is also why it was not possible for Jesus to return at Pentecost in 2012.

Ronald Weinland’s followers are supposed to stay in their homes and listen to his prerecorded sermon today. But by the time most in North America hear all of it, his last hour will be over and Jesus will not have returned.

Since he called his 5/23/12 post his “final posting,” does that mean that Ronald Weinland will not post anything once he is again proven wrong? Perhaps, he will admit mistakes and post again–that should be the minimum he does for his followers.

The following scripture should suffice to dissuade his followers to support him by Sunday, if they have any real faith in scripture:

21 “And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’– 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him (Deuteronomy 18:21-22).

His supporters really need to believe the Bible more than Ronald Weinland.  Any who are following him because they believed that Ronald Weinland was right and that Jesus was to return now will hopefully stop following him now (though they should have stopped following him earlier if they would have placed more reliance on the Word of God instead of the Words of Ron).

Hopefully, they will realize that the God of the Bible is still right and that it was basically the imaginations and explanations of a mere man, Ron Weinland, that were wrong.

The Bible teaches:

Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. (Romans 3:4)

And, Ronald Weinland has repeatedly proven to not be faithful to the word of God. God is true, and Ronald Weinland has prophesied lies (which others have also done per Jeremiah 20:6).

For those who would like some additional proof from scripture, notice what should have already happened by now according to Jesus in Luke 21:

20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.  21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her.  22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.  23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people.  24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.  25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;  26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.  27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.  28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”  (Luke 21:20-28)

These events have not yet occurred–though they and others will.  The Word of God is faithful, but sadly Ronald Weinland did not rely enough on it.

Furthermore, there are other events in the Bible that needed to happen by now, but have not.  Here is a short list of ten (and this could be several times this long):

  1. There is no actual final one to hold the position yet of the King of the North (Daniel 11:40).
  2. The Philadelphia remnant has not fled to the wilderness (Revelation 12:14-16; Revelation 3:7-10).
  3. The USA (“the strongest fortresses”) has not been destroyed (Daniel 11:39)
  4. There is no King of the South (Daniel 11:25, 40).
  5. The King of the North has not yet taken over the King of the South (Daniel 11:40).
  6. The non-protected saints were not given into the Beast’s hands for three and one half years (Daniel 7:24-25; Revelation 12:17).
  7. The world has not marveled at the Beast’s military ability nor worshiped him (Revelation 13:4,8).
  8. The false prophet of Revelation has not done signs and lying wonders (Revelation 13:11-17).
  9. The “star” Wormwood did not fall from heaven and hurt one third of the water (Revelation 8:10-11)
  10. There was no great earthquake that eliminated islands (Revelation 16:18-19).

It was never possible that the Great Tribulation began on December 14, 2008 as Ron Weinland insisted and all the remaining prophetic events could take place in 60 minutes on the 26th of May in 2012.  And for those who still question that, consider that the Bible shows that the merchants of the world get wealthy from the Beast and then mourn once the Beast is destroyed (Revelation 18)–that simply could not happen in 60 minutes.

The Bible was never wrong.  Ronald Weinland, who like Satan (Matthew 4:1-11), used scripture, also like Satan did not truly live by every word of it.  If he did, he could not have made many of the proclamations that he did.  The Bible warned that Satan’s ministers do not always look completely bad:

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)

Ronald Weinland was a false apostle (this was another titled he falsely took for himself).

Deception is a powerful thing, but through Jesus it can be overcome (Philippians 4:13). Believe God, for “he who does not believe God has made Him a liar” (1 John 5:10). Ronald Weinland, not God, has lied.

Please do not let false prophets and false apostles like Ron Weinland turn you away from the God of the Bible.

Drought Reducing Wheat Yields in US, Australia, Russia, and Ukraine

Wheat

COGwriter

Wheat shortages may be on the horizon:

Drought dries up global wheat yields
May 25, 2012

Drought in the United States, Russia and Australia is reducing wheat yields to levels not seen since 2003. Ukraine and Russia have experienced drought conditions for the past three month. These countries constitute 11 percent of the world’s wheat production, according to data from University College London, according to Bloomberg…

Estimates are that up to 30 percent of the grain harvest in eastern and southern Ukraine could be lost due to the dry weather. Russia’s wheat crop is projected to lose 15 percent if conditions remain dry.

Dry conditions in the United States are putting a damper on wheat yield expectations despite the anticipation of an early harvest in May…Kansas’ percent of wheat quality in the very poor to poor rating doubled from 11 percent to 22 percent during the two-week period ending May 20…

Western Australia produces 40 percent of the country’s wheat. Below-average rainfall in April is expected to trim wheat yields here by 12 percent as a result.  http://www.agprofessional.com/news/Drought-dries-up-global-wheat-yields-153775645.html

The Bible tells of a time of food shortages and also specifically wheat shortages:

7…And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.  8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.  (Matthew 24:7-8)

5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” (Revelation 6:5-6)

Whether the food shortages happen from weather-related issues, war/civil unrest, and/or increased dependence on genetically-modified crops is not specified in scripture.  It would seem that all, to a degree, will be factors.  The sorrows and troubles are just beginning and will get much worse. Hopefully, people will wake up.

As Jesus said:

37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch! (Mark 13:36-37)

Tougher times are coming. And for some parts of the world these tougher time may be here now. People who can prepare, should: both spiritually and physically. Westerners need to realize that this will not only affect people in places like Africa, Asia, and the Middle East–the Anglo-descended nations of the West will themselves suffer hunger, civil unrest, famine, and worse. Super wheat will not be the solution–it is much more likely to contribute to a disaster.
