Sermonette: You Want to Follow God? Then Prove the Truth!

COGwriter

The Continuing Church of God is pleased to announce this sermonette from its ContinuingCOG channel:

10:41

You feel that you should follow God. Have you proven that God exists? Should you? Can you prove that Jesus was the prophesied Messiah as opposed to being one of many religious leaders throughout history? What is truth? What about the Bible? Can you have religious certainty? If the Bible is true, what books should be in it? If God is calling you, will you respond to that call? How are you supposed to live as a Christian? Can you get assistance on the ten commandments, holy day, prayer, and faith? What about the gospel of the Kingdom of God? What about life’s biggest questions? Why did God create anything? Why did God make you? Should you support the work of the true church? Can history and scriptures help you identify the true Christian church? What about the truest Philadelphian Church of God at this time? Is reading enough or should you obey and be a doer of the word? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues and suggests free online scripture-filled books and booklets to aid those who are in a quest for the truth. As Jesus said, “you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

  2. Know with certainty that God exists (Is God’s Existence Logical?).
  3. Know with certainty that Jesus is the Messiah (Proof Jesus is the Messiah).
  4. Know with certainty that the Bible is true (Who Gave the World the Bible? The Canon: Why do we have the books we now do in the Bible? Is the Bible complete?).
  5. Know if God is calling them in this age (Is God Calling You?).
  6. Have information on how to live as Christian (Christians: Ambassadors for the Kingdom of God, Biblical instructions on living as a Christian).
  7. Understand the Gospel of the Kingdom of God (The Gospel of the Kingdom of God).
  8. Understand what God’s purpose is for them (The MYSTERY of GOD’s PLAN: Why Did God Create Anything? Why Did God Make You?).
  9. Understand what early Christians believed (Continuing History of the Church of God).
  10. Understand why the true church is not a Greco-Roman-Protestant one (Continuing History of the Church of God) and (Hope of Salvation: How the Continuing Church of God Differs from Protestantism).
  11. Understand why the Church of God is the Christian church (Where is the True Christian Church Today?).
