NYT’s Friedman Asks Why Arab World and Europe Fracturing Now; CBS Reports Greek Election Results

European Union Tower of Babel Poster

In today’s edition of The Tribune (San Luis Obispo) is an article by New York Times writer Tom Friedman that includes the following:

Arab world and Europe: A tale of two collapses

In Europe, the supranational project did not work…In the Arab world, the national project did not work…

One question historians will puzzle over is why both great geopolitical systems fractured at once?

While the writer proposed some secular explanation, the real explanation is that the Bible supports the view that humankind will have about six thousand years to rule itself until Jesus has to come and takeover and restore the planet. The Bible teaches that prior to the return of Jesus Christ that Europe will restructure (Revelation 17:12), give its power to a leader called the Beast (Revelation 17:13), who is also called the King of the North in Daniel 11:40.
Although some see today’s preliminary election results in Greece as promising as the following suggests, no matter what happens from this Greek election, a European supranational state will form and thrive:
CBS News – ‎17 June 2012
(AP) ATHENS, Greece – The pro-bailout New Democracy party came in first Sunday in Greece’s national election and could gather enough support to form a pro-bailout coalition to keep the country in the eurozone.
While the Europeans are having problems, even this was predicted in the Bible (Daniel 2:41-43), yet a European supranational empire will happen (Revelation 17:12-13).
The Bible also teaches that prior to the return of Jesus Christ that the Arabs will form a confederation under a leader called the final King of the South (Daniel 11:40).  The problems in the Middle East are helping set the stage for this.
Because secular sources such as the New York Times do not give serious consideration to much of biblical prophecy, they have no idea that those in Europe and the Arab world have to be shaken up enough to fulfill their roles as the Kings of the North and South in Bible prophecy.
The end of humanity’s 6,000 years of self-rule, mainly apart from the true God, is drawing closer, hence political reorganizations must happen in Europe and in the Arab world.
