Marine Le Pen, leader of the far-right National Rally, is seeking to become France’s next president on a hardline anti-EU platform, pledging to cut the country’s contributions to the EU budget and end funding for Ukraine.

On Ukraine, Le Pen has repeatedly pledged to end financial assistance. Speaking to reporters in Brussels on Wednesday, she said that if elected, France could only sustain funding for six months because of the “perilous” state of its public finances.

“This funding will stop, and it is a matter of honesty to tell [Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy] the truth,” she told Euronews. …

Le Pen has also called for an end to EU sanctions against Russia, while saying France could continue training Ukrainian troops and supplying military equipment to Kyiv.

Her comments signal that Le Pen is prepared to take a hardline stance, pledging to end French funding for Ukraine in a position similar to that of US President Donald Trump. …

Cutting France’s contributions to the EU budget

With six months to go before France’s presidential election, Le Pen is campaigning on a platform centred on tighter immigration controls, greater national sovereignty and measures to tackle the cost-of-living crisis, as rising fuel prices fuel public discontent.

Her party has backed capping France’s net contribution to the EU budget at €5 billion a year, down from €8 billion, according to figures published by the French Senate. Such a move would mark a departure from recent years, during which France’s contributions have generally increased, despite annual fluctuations.

Under President Emmanuel Macron, France has backed a larger EU budget, unlike countries such as Germany, which favour tighter spending limits. “This historic vote shows that when people vote, people win,” Le Pen said to the crowd. “We are ready to take over power if the French give us their trust in the upcoming national elections.”

While Marine Le Pen will NOT “dissolve the new world order,” her party’s rise will actually help set the stage for it.

On Monday, an AfD strategy paper was circulating. In this pamphlet, the party’s European policy experts had apparently agreed on a strategic shift in their approach to the EU and monetary policy. There was no longer any talk of leaving the euro system or even of a Dexit, Germany’s departure from the European Union.

Quite the opposite: The EU is to be transformed into a federation of sovereign nations, with a focus on the internal market, effective protection of the external borders, and coordination among member states on security matters. In general, the goal should be to return political powers to the nation-states — all sensible measures to consolidate the EU’s completely out-of-control expansionism. …

France’s opposition leader Marine Le Pen of the Rassemblement National sounded similarly tame. On Tuesday morning, Le Pen presented her plans to consolidate France’s ailing public finances. …

After just 15 months in office, Le Pen plans to achieve a balanced primary budget, meaning a surplus before interest payments. As in Germany, Le Pen plans to enshrine a debt brake, her “golden rule,” in the constitution by referendum — and we have known since Chancellor Friedrich Merz single-handedly executed the debt brake with an already-defeated Bundestag and the special fund exactly what such political promises are worth.

Le Pen also had a very special message for Ursula von der Leyen. France’s net contributions to the European Commission should immediately be cut back to the level of the early 2000s, to five billion euros. A reduction of around 64 percent.

Back in 2017, related to a different election in France, I posted the following:

Whether or not France’s Marine Le Pen wins, the reality is that Europe will one day deal with Islamic immigration and it will not be by encouraging more of it.

Europe will not continue to tolerate Islamic terrorism! There will be conflict between the Europeans and the Arabs (watch also the video sermonette War is Coming Between Europeans and Arabs).

For years, I have warned that problems with Islam will be a factor in the rise of the European Beast power.

It is precisely because of mass Islamic immigration and terrorism that Marine Le Pen has a chance–not that I believe that she is or will be the Beast of Revelation 13:1-10. But Islamic issues are paving the way for a strongman to rise up in Europe.

Europe, and not just France, is moving against the waves of immigration that have affected it. Election gains by Germany’s AfD are evidence of that (cf. AfD continues electoral gains, German Chancellor Merz declares unconditional friendship with America is likely over, & EU deep cleansing proposed: Reorganization is coming!).

Europe will eventually take bolder steps against migrants, particularly those from North Africa and the Middle East. Many Islamic migrants in France are already very concerned that Marine Le Pen may win (see Migrant attacks and protests in Europe– 46% of Muslims in France claim they will leave if Marine Le Pen wins).

European voters are making it clearer that they want to change immigration policies. This will also result in more migrants protesting and cause civil unrest.

The increased popularity of Marine Le Pen and Germany’s AfD party show that change will come to Europe.

Yet, what those bring will not be the end of change.

While we are not quite there yet, the Bible shows that Europe will reorganize and grant power to a dictator called the Beast:

12 The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.  (Revelation 17:12-13)

Events in Europe are setting matters up that will lead to the fulfillment of biblical prophecies.
