On Monday, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo made an admission that is rare to hear from America’s top leaders – he got it wrong. Speaking at a news briefing on the coronavirus pandemic at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York City on Memorial Day, Cuomo addressed questions about when New York would more fully reopen. When asked about whether there was a specific timeline for the next phase of reopening, the governor of the Empire State had a surprisingly candid response.
“Now, people can speculate. People can guess. I think next week, I think two weeks, I think a month,” the New York governor said. “I’m out of that business because we all failed at that business. Right? All the early national experts. Here’s my projection model. Here’s my projection model. They were all wrong. No, WE did not all fail. But politicians because of their agendas, incompetence, political goals, fears, etc. made many mistakes. Of course, some mistakes would be expected, but massive ones of commission and omission were made. They could have advised eating more fruits and vegetables, sunlight, appropriate fasting, and many other things. But they did not.
Instead they promoted fear and pushed regulations/rules that in many instances were ineffective, harmful for the economy, and in various cases, harmful for human health.
Having worked a little bit with the US NIH, specifically the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (plus my studies and experiences with statistics and modeling), let me state that I was not in awe or fear from their pronouncements based on their predictive models from the start.
My experience with local public health officials also has not instilled in me a sense of confidence in their competence as I have seen inappropriate agendas as being pushed, as opposed to proper public health measures. Plus massive ignorance related to treatment.
Yes, as a scientist whose anti-viral proposals before the NIH utilizing herbs, glandulars, and nutrients was twice deemed by the US government scientists to have “significant scientific merit,” I have believed much has been mishandled in the COVID-19 matter.
I opposed most business closures and church closures. I repeatedly warned lockdown and other steps related to government actions blamed on COVID-19 was going to have severe ramifications, and some have began to show up.
For my opposition to closing churches, I was lambasted by an anti-COG website numerous times.
Now consider the following that Red State (RS) had in post a few weeks ago:
We Wrecked Our Economy for Nothing
Imagine, if you will, an edict from your Mayor, Governor, the President, or all three. This edict targets you and 30 million other citizens simply because you are a member of a specific economic class or category of worker. Your vocation has been determined to be “non-essential.” The directive is clear. You will forgo your wages for an indeterminate period of time. You have no choice. If you fail to comply, you face fines and/or imprisonment. The stated objectives of all of this, are to preclude the medical system from being overwhelmed and to increase the lifespan of one million people, many of whom would perish within 6 months anyhow from already existing conditions.
This is exactly what has happened. The federal government has encouraged mayors and governors to enact certain “social distancing” guidelines and forbade workers in “non essential’ occupations from earning a paycheck. This has, over the past few months, caused over 30 million people to become newly unemployed and unable to feed their families. This number will continue to rise. It is not much of a reach to believe we could hit 20% unemployment…numbers we haven’t gotten to since the Great Depression.
There is little-to-no actual science behind this draconian decision. The experts told us that by sacrificing the jobs of 30 million people (and still counting) we would “flatten the curve” on new infections and thus keep our hospital system from being overwhelmed. The “experts” and their models have been proven wrong time and again throughout this debacle. …
The Chicken Little folks supporting Dr. Fauci and COL/Dr. Birx are claiming that we saved a million U.S lives by shutting down our economy. Fine. Let’s do some math. For the sake of argument, let’s agree here that without closing up our economy, the number of U.S. Fatalities would have reached 1.1 Million. Let’s also assume that by invoking Dr. Fauci’s draconian measures, we were able to cut that number down to 100,000 (I chose 1.1M and 100K in order to make the math simpler).
Bottom line? For each life allegedly saved, we as a nation, the states & localities severally, DEMANDED under threat of fines and/or imprisonment, that 30 other (non-essential) American workers forgo their paychecks. We (corporate we) told select classes of people that we were going to essentially deny them the ability to make a living…and without any sort of due process whatsoever.
Basically, the governors and mayors with the encouragement of the federal government denied the civil rights of broad swaths of the American citizenry. They abridged the right to earn a living on the unproven chance that it might save a stranger’s life. …
Mind you, none of the above was done via legislative action, which might have made it somewhat more palatable. It was all done via executive orders, big and small. As new data comes in, we are seeing that all of this had little-to-no effect on the spread of the virus nor the number of fatalities. We trampled on the Constitution, destroyed our economy, and wrecked the lives of millions of Americans…for nothing. Note: Since the above article came out, it is more like 40 million Americans lost their jobs.
Plus, because of the trillions in ‘bailouts’ from the US federal government and the Federal Reserve, the USA is insuring that it will fall because of its debts consistent with the prophecies in Habakkuk 2:1-8.

Here in the United States, more than 38 million Americans have lost their jobs so far, more than 100,000 businesses have been permanently lost, and it is being projected that U.S. GDP will fall by about 40 percent during the second quarter.
And all that it took to do that was fear of a virus.
If millions of people were dropping dead all over the planet, the level of fear that we are witnessing would be understandable. But millions of people aren’t dropping dead, and this crisis has turned out to be mostly fear.
Ultimately, we will look back on this as a relatively minor event compared to the horrific pandemics that experts assure us are eventually coming our way.
So please don’t get rid of any protective equipment that you have acquired. Someday you will need it.

That does not mean there were not dangers.
People around the world died.
The Bible warns:
14 ‘But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, 15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, 16 I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you. (Leviticus 26:14-17)
But many governments overreacted and also seemed to want to see what happened when the exercised power. Partially because of how other governments overreacted, additional governments jumped on board.
Yes, governments also learned that they could use fear and various rules to gain totalitarian like controls. And that they could be implemented easier than many felt would be possible.
That being said, some prophecy watchers have claimed:

But that is not the case. The reality is that COVID-19 is a prelude to the ride of the fourth horseman of death and pestilence. That ride has not yet began. But it will be coming–that is why Michael Snyder wrote about protective equipment, “Someday you will need it.”
What we have been seeing with the novel coronavirus is that once that horseman’s ride is going, many will willingly accept dictatorial 666 controls.
