A direct anti-tank missile strike in the Galilee on Sunday morning left a vehicle in flames and an Israeli dead, as sirens once again drove civilians across the country into shelters. The attack in Kibbutz Misgav Am near Metula is the latest in an unrelenting wave of fire from Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon and ballistic missile launches from Iran, bringing the war into Israel’s streets, homes, and schools.

Missiles Are Falling In Jerusalem, …
Iran is not just firing missiles into Israel in general—they are now striking in and around Jerusalem, the city that God chose to place His name there. The spiritual and geopolitical epicenter of the earth is once again under direct attack, and the timing of it, alongside everything else unfolding, should not be lost on anyone paying attention. What began as retaliation has now become escalation, and Jerusalem is in the crosshairs. …

While Zechariah 12:2 is NOT happening quite yet, Iran’s launching of missiles towards Jerusalem, along with Hezbollah’s actions, do bring to mind the following:
6 Elam bore the quiver
With chariots of men and horsemen,
And Kir uncovered the shield.
7 It shall come to pass that your choicest valleys
Shall be full of chariots,
And the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.8 He removed the protection of Judah.
You looked in that day to the armor of the House of the Forest;
9 You also saw the damage to the city of David,
That it was great;
And you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.10 You numbered the houses of Jerusalem,
And the houses you broke down
To fortify the wall. (Isaiah 22:6-10)
Elam in the above is connected to Iran, the House of the Forest to part of Lebanon (which is where Hezbollah is based out of), and the City of David is at least part of Jerusalem. And we also see that houses in Jerusalem will be broken down.
Long time readers of this COGwriter Church of God page are aware that I have long cited Isaiah 22 as pointing to great damage hitting Jerusalem.
Yesterday, Steve Dupuie asked me if the following part of Isaiah 22:
11 You also made a reservoir between the two walls
For the water of the old pool.
But you did not look to its Maker,
Nor did you have respect for Him who fashioned it long ago. (Isaiah 22:11)
He asked me if it was possible that this could be a prophecy related to the destruction of water supplies, like desalination plants in Israel.
Based on that and the following verse (12 And in that day the Lord God of hosts Called for weeping and for mourning, For baldness and for girding with sackcloth), I said that was a potential way for that to be fulfilled.
Interestingly, hours after he and I went over this, Iran announced it may directly hit desalination plants:

After U.S. President Donald Trump issued an ultimatum threatening to strike Iran’s power grid while pressing for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran hit back, saying it would “destroy all U.S. and allied infrastructure in the Middle East.”
On the 22nd, according to a compilation of reports by Iran’s Fars News Agency and China’s Xinhua News Agency, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, which corresponds to Iran’s current top operational command, issued a statement declaring a strong intent to retaliate against the United States. They warned, “If the enemy invades Iran’s fuel and energy infrastructure, we will target all energy facilities, information technology (IT) equipment, and desalination infrastructure belonging to bases where the United States is stationed in the Middle East and to regimes allied with the United States.” This came shortly after President Trump pressured that “if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened within 48 hours, we will strike and completely destroy Iran’s power plants.” https://biz.chosun.com/en/en-international/2026/03/22/EJUNMJ7G2ZHUHI6GK2XYTETBLI/

While I have recently written about the risk of desalination plants and water supplies being hit (see Might water shortages, instead of oil, about to become more important to Iran and others in the Middle East? What about fertilizer?), until Steve Dupuie brought it up yesterday, I did not see the potential tie with Isaiah 22:11.
This looks like something to “Watch” (Mark 13:37).
