The King of England is planning on coming to the United States:

King Charles U.S. visit comes at tense moment in transatlantic relationship

April 26, 2026

King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrive in Washington on Monday for a state visit marking 250 years since the United States declared independence from Britain. The four day trip will include a state banquet at the White House hosted by President Trump, along with an address to Congress by the King.

But this visit comes at a time of growing strain between the two allies, including disagreements over U.S. Israeli-led war in Iran. Still many hope the King’s visit could help ease tensions and reinforce the longstanding ties between the countries. https://www.npr.org/2026/04/26/nx-s1-5788696/king-queen-state-trump

King Charles’s security for US visit under review after Washington shooting

Buckingham Palace says talks taking place in light of gunman’s attempt to storm dinner attended by Trump

King Charles’s security is being reviewed before his state visit to the US this week after a gunman attempted to storm a dinner with Donald Trump in Washington DC, Buckingham Palace has said. …

Buckingham Palace said on Sunday that Charles was being “kept fully informed of developments” and was “greatly relieved to hear that the president, first lady and all guests have been unharmed”.

“As you would expect, a number of discussions will be taking place throughout the day to discuss with US colleagues and our respective teams to what degree the events of Saturday evening may or may not impact on the operational planning for the visit,” the spokesperson added.

Darren Jones, the chief secretary to the prime minister, said the US and UK were “working closely to ensure that security arrangements are put appropriately in place” for the visit.

Asked on Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips on Sky News if there were any extra concerns for the king’s safety, Jones said: “As you would imagine, the government and the palace take the security of his majesty very seriously, and there were already extensive discussions taking place, which will continue over the coming days.” https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/apr/26/king-charles-security-us-visit-reviewed-washington-shooting-trump

UK-US ties tested: Britain courts Trump with King Charles

25 April 2026

The “special relationship” between the United States and the United Kingdom has survived a revolution. Now the British government is working to ensure it can withstand Donald Trump.

Despite deep economic and social ties and unparalleled intelligence sharing, the US president has chosen to repeatedly attack the UK and its Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The trigger: London’s reluctance to be drawn into Washington’s war with Iran.

When Starmer initially refused to allow US troops to use British bases, Trump remarked: “This is not Winston Churchill we are dealing with.” He later told The Sun newspaper it was “sad to see the relationship is obviously not what it was,” adding the prime minister “has not been helpful.”

US-UK ties: From trade deal to tensions

The contrast to just one year ago is stark. Then, the UK became the first country to sign a post-tariff trade deal with the US. Since then, Trump´s threat to invade Greenland, his sweeping tariff policies — including against allies — his attacks on a “weak” Europe and, above all, the war in Iran have put the relationship under strain. …

British governments have long used their monarchs as tools of soft diplomacy. State visits take place on behalf of the UK government, and they carry largely symbolic weight. As a constitutional monarch, King Charles IIIcannot negotiate treaties, set policy or speak freely on political matters. His role is ceremonial, not executive.

As recently as September 2025, Trump and the first lady were treated to anunprecedented second state visit to the UK, with all the glamour, military pomp and royal attention that the Kingdom has to offer. At the state banquet, Trump praised the “bond of kinship and identity” between the two nations as “priceless and eternal … irreplaceable and unbreakable.”

So why deploy the king again, when Trump’s positions can shift so quickly?

“The view of the British government will be that it’s better to at least make the attempt and to have some chance of winning favor for a brief period of time and having some influence than not,” Nigel Fletcher, a political historian and visiting scholar at Kings College London, told DW. https://www.dw.com/en/uk-us-ties-tested-britain-courts-trump-with-king-charles/a-76928978

Yes, the USA and UK have long had a special relationship. Biblical prophecies point to the USA being Manasseh and the UK being Ephraim–Ephraim and Manasseh were sons of Joseph who were given blessings when they were adopted as sons of Israel in Genesis 48 (for more details, see also Lost Tribes and Prophecies: What will happen to Australia, the British Isles, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and the United States of America?).

Here is something about that from our free online book Lost Tribes and Prophecies: What will happen to Australia, the British Isles, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and the United States of America?:

In 1957, Dr. Herman Hoeh wrote of the British Commonwealth nations being Ephraim.[i] As it turns out, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand all accept the British sovereign as do a dozen (mainly island) nations who are part of the Commonwealth (there are also other Commonwealth nations, that although they do not accept the British throne, they do to a degree since they accept King Charles III as the head of the Commonwealth).

Since God declared Ephraim as His firstborn (Jeremiah 31:9), it is interesting to note that the predominant Ephraimite nations are still all directly under the “throne of David.”

Fraternal Relationship

As sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh were related as brothers.

Interestingly, even though the current Royals do not publicly embrace that Ephraim represents the British-descended peoples, we still see aspects of the special relationship between the USA and Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

Back in 1946, Britain’s Winston Churchill spoke of “the fraternal association of the English-speaking peoples. He meant a special relationship between the then British Commonwealth and Empire and the United States.”[ii]

In 2011, although he likely had not biblical understanding of the matter, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau referred to the U.S.A. and Canada as “siblings.”[iii]

In 2021, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States announced a new military alliance called AUKUS. This offended the Chinese as well as officials in the European Union who called it “a stab in the back”.[iv] In 2022, it announced joint production of hypersonic weapons, which China quickly objected to.[v]

That being said, the U.S.A., Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom still do have a special relationship (including being ‘The Five Eyes’) as well as a biblically fraternal one. …

Have any in the current Royal Family believed in British Israelism?

Well, as it turns out, a longtime colleague of mine (who asked not to have his name in this book because it could impact his relationship with the Royal Family),  told me on April 6, 2022, that decades ago, then Prince Charles privately told him that “he believed that the British royalty was part of the line of David, but would never say this in public or print” and that Charles seemed to know a lot about the British-Israelite matter.

Based upon biblical prophecies, I expect that the USA and UK will, eventually, patch up some of their differences–for a time.

Then according to other biblical prophecies, they will betray one another:

21 Manasseh shall devour Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh;
Together they shall be against Judah. (Isaiah 9:21)

But that prophesied betrayal will NOT happen with this trip by the King and Queen of England.

Some steps towards a temporary better relationship will be made this week.
