After Russia began its Special Military Operation into Ukraine in 2022, there began to be shortages of fertilizer (see ‘Fertilizer Prices Continue Rising, Increasing Fears of Global Grain Costs and Shortages’). Then we saw a return of food price inflation (see Food Inflation: World Food Prices Jump Most In 18 Months).
One unintended consequence of the USA-Israel war against Iran has been a disruption of fertilizer exports.

According to Denton, if the strait is not reopened, grain prices could rise by up to 80%, which would be particularly hard on the economies of import-dependent countries. He added that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz has caused a shortage of about 2.7 million tons of fertilizer on the world market.
The ICC is working with the UN and the International Maritime Organization on a mechanism that would transfer temporary management of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz to the UN Secretary General. The rides of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse (Revelation 6:1-8) relate to what Jesus warned would happen.
And certainly we are in a time of wars and rumors of war.

Last week, a 28-year-old worker of the Anti-Plague Institute died of severe pneumonia. I have long warned that humans, directly or indirectly, will be a factor in the coming more severe pestilences.
And while the broken test tube in Russia was unintentional, there have been many issues with humans working with, and sometimes enhancing, biological pathogens.

Tucker Carlson interviewed Democratic presidential party candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. (RFK). During that interview, RFK asserted that the United States has had thousands of scientists working on making bioweapons. Biological pathogens developed by humans are a real threat. And now, with AI involvement, it can be faster and perhaps much worse.
Plus, mistakes happen.
We are getting to the end of what looks to be the 6,000 years that God has allowed humans to rule themselves, which will soon be followed by the 1,000 year reign of Christ. Pray for Jesus to return and God’s Kingdom to come (Matthew 6:10).
But prior to Jesus return, “there will be great tribulation” as Jesus foretold (Matthew 24:21).
