King Charles toasts “indispensable” U.S.-U.K. alliance in state dinner hosted by Trump, after rare address to Congress

• King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited the White House for a state dinner hosted by President Trump and first lady Melania Trump. The two heads of state enthusiastically toasted the U.S.-U.K. alliance at the start of the dinner, despite some areas of disagreement between their countries.
• Earlier Tuesday, the king addressed Congress, speaking about what he called the “truly unique” relationship between the U.K. and the U.S. and repeatedly stressing the importance of the alliance. He received a standing ovation when he said “executive power is subject to checks and balances.” …

Both President Trump and King Charles III spoke about the U.S. and U.K.’s alliance in glowing terms at the start of Tuesday’s state dinner, though points of disagreement between the two countries remain.

The king called the alliance “indispensable,” highlighting the U.S.’s role in helping Europe rebuild after World War II and later setting up NATO — bringing up a delicate subject for Mr. Trump, who has long felt that NATO member countries do not spend enough money on their own defense and are overly reliant on the alliance.

He also said the countries should “reaffirm…the basis on which our partnership has been built,” in light of new challenges like shared foreign adversaries and the risks of new technologies. …

At one point, he referenced the ballroom that President Trump is seeking to build on the White House grounds, leading to the demolition of the East Wing.

In his address to Congress on Tuesday afternoon, Charles stressed the importance of the historic alliance between the U.S. and U.K. while touching on several hot-button issues, including NATO, climate change, and the war in Ukraine.

“The story of the United Kingdom and the United States is, at its heart, a story of reconciliation, renewal, and remarkable partnership,” King Charles said. “From the bitter divisions of 250 years ago, we forged a friendship that has grown into one of the most consequential alliances in human history.”

The USA and UK have long had a special relationship. Biblical prophecies point to the USA being Manasseh and the UK being Ephraim–Ephraim and Manasseh were sons of Joseph who were given blessings when they were adopted as sons of Israel in Genesis 48 (for more details, see also Lost Tribes and Prophecies: What will happen to Australia, the British Isles, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and the United States of America?).

But let’s look at a couple of points that King Charles brought up.

One was Donald Trump’s comment that without the USA, European countries would be speaking German. Well, because of World War II, that looks to have been correct–though the Bible points to Germany losing WWI and WWII in Daniel, it prophesies it winning in what could be called WWIII:

23 And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people. 24 He shall enter peaceably, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time.

Recall that the German-European alliance was defeated in WWI and WWII. So yes, the fathers (WWII) and forefathers (WWI) of the final King of the North failed to defeat the UK and USA those two times. But notice that he is prophesied to be successful against the strongholds, in this case meaning the military alliance of the USA and UK. The third time basically is WWIII and the Germanic-European King of the North Beast power will succeed per Daniel 11:24 and Daniel 11:39 (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses). Despite having wealth and the strongholds, the USA and UK will be defeated (this is also basically confirmed in Daniel 11:39).

Related to language and Bible prophecy, notice the following:

43 The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower. 44 He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail. 45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon you and pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed…47 “Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything, 48 therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the LORD will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in need of everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you. 49 The LORD will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies, a nation whose language you will not understand, 50 a nation of fierce countenance, which does not respect the elderly nor show favor to the young. 51 And they shall eat the increase of your livestock and the produce of your land, until you are destroyed; they shall not leave you grain or new wine or oil, or the increase of your cattle or the offspring of your flocks, until they have destroyed you. 52 They shall besiege you at all your gates until your high and fortified walls, in which you trust, come down throughout all your land; and they shall besiege you at all your gates throughout all your land which the LORD your God has given you (Deuteronomy 28:43-45,47-52).

Notice that an indebted people are prophesied to be taken over and destroyed by a nation whose language they do not understand/speak. The USA is the most indebted nation of all time, and Habakkuk 2 prophesies the destruction of an indebted nation. The UK is also highly indebted.

The late Dr. Herman Hoeh wrote:

The next war is to be fought once again between whites — between Israel of Western Europe and America on one side — and a combination of the sons of Asshur, Javan and the Chaldeans on the other! …

Deut. 28: … Unless we quit sinning, God will send the White Gentiles from Europe — “as the vulture swoopeth down; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; a nation of fierce countenance, that shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young” (verses 49-50).(Hieh H. The Origin of Nations, 1957)

King Charles said he prayed that the USA-UK “alliance will continue to defend our shared values, with our partners in Europe.”

The Bible does not show that lasting.

The Bible shows that one who was great among the nations, will be destroyed by friends who become enemies in Lamentations 1:1-2.

The Bible also shows that the strongest military power (which would be the USA-UK-Canada alliance) will be conquered by a European power in Daniel 11:39 (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).

The late Pastor General of the old Worldwide Church of God, Herbert W. Armstrong, wrote the following in 1979:

Daniel did not understand, but the angel said, “Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end (Dan. 12:9).

And then what — in the TIME OF THE END … the daily sacrifice shall be taken away. … the armies of the “beast” of Revelation 17, entering Jerusalem (Dan. 11:41, Zech. 14:2) will stop this daily sacrifice. “And the abomination that maketh desolate set up.”

What is this abomination? This refers to Daniel 11:31 and Matthew 24:15…That will be a time when the UNITED Europe shall appear–the revival of the medieval “Holy Roman Empire.” We shall then be warned, and readied to be taken to a place of refuge and safety from the Great Tribulation. Forty-five days later “the beasts armies” will surround Jerusalem. Thirty days later the Great Tribulation will probably start with a nuclear attack on London and Britain–and possibly the same day or immediately after, on the United States and Canadian cities. The GREAT TRIBULATION, we shall fully then realize, is the time of “Jacob’s Trouble,” spoken of in Jeremiah 30:7. And Jacob’s name was named on Joseph’s sons, Ephraim and Manasseh (Gen. 48:16). At that time a third of the people in our nations will die, or shall have died, by famine and disease epidemics; another third will dies of the war–our cities being destroyed (Ezek. 6:6), and the remaining third will be carried to the land of our enemies as slaves (Ezek. 5:12).
