People Are Already Getting Arrested for Trying to “Storm Area 51″

Area 51 (Wikipedia)

COGWriter

Area 51 is an Air Force installation in Nevada. Alien theorists have claimed that the US government was storing proof of aliens from outer space there for decades. Until about six years ago, the US government basically said Area 51 did not exist. But in 2013 a government document came out acknowledging its existence (see Area 51, surveillance denials, and other government lies).

Wikipedia has the following about it:

Area 51 is the common name of a highly classified United States Air Force (USAF) facility located within the Nevada Test and Training Range. Officially, the facility is called Homey Airport (KXTA) or Groom Lake, named after the salt flat situated next to its airfield. Although details of the facility’s operations are not publicly known, the USAF says it as an open training range[2] and it most likely supports the development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems based on historical evidence.[3][4] The USAF acquired the site in 1955, primarily for flight testing the Lockheed U-2 aircraft.[5]

The intense secrecy surrounding the base has made it the frequent subject of conspiracy theories and a central component to unidentified flying object (UFO) folklore.[6][7] The base has never been declared a secret base, but all research and occurrences in Area 51 are Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).[6] The CIA publicly acknowledged the existence of the base for the first time on 25 June 2013, following a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed in 2005, and they declassified documents detailing the history and purpose of Area 51.[8]

Area 51 is located in the southern portion of Nevada in the western United States, 83 miles (134 km) north-northwest of Las Vegas. The surrounding area is a popular tourist destination, including the small town of Rachel, on the “Extraterrestrial Highway“.

The original rectangular base of 6 by 10 miles (9.7 by 16.1 km) is now part of the so-called “Groom box”, a rectangular area measuring 23 by 25 miles (37 by 40 km), of restricted airspace. The area is connected to the internal Nevada Test Site (NTS) road network, with paved roads leading south to Mercury and west to Yucca Flat. Leading northeast from the lake, the wide and well-maintained Groom Lake Road runs through a pass in the Jumbled Hills. The road formerly led to mines in the Groom basin, but has been improved since their closure. Its winding course runs past a security checkpoint, but the restricted area around the base extends farther east. After leaving the restricted area, Groom Lake Road descends eastward to the floor of the Tikaboo Valley, passing the dirt-road entrances to several small ranches, before converging with State Route 375, the “Extraterrestrial Highway”,[9] south of Rachel.

Area 51 shares a border with the Yucca Flat region of the Nevada Test Site, the location of 739 of the 928 nuclear tests conducted by the United States Department of Energy at NTS. (Area 51, Wikipedia, accessed 07/20/19)

Now, partially because the denials of the existence of Area 51 was shown to be a government lie, many believe that the US government is lying about what is at Area 51.

Some are so convinced that there is proof of aliens from outer space there, that supposedly over a million people plan to descend on Area 51 on September 20th, 2019. Time reported:

Area 51 has been shrouded in mystery for decades, so it only makes sense that the rumored alien secrets held within the remote desert site would get a reboot in the social media age.

The internet has been invaded by Area 51 memes inspired by a joke Facebook event to take over the secretive military site and find the supposed aliens kept inside. The event, called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us,” is planned for Sept. 20, and so far 1.5 million people have signed on. …

According to the CIA, secretive flight testing has been happening in the area since the military began testing U-2 CIA spy planes in 1955, around the time reports of U.F.O. sightings started to come out — but that news has done little to quell the otherworldly theories that have long surrounded the enigmatic site.

Here’s everything to know about the history of Area 51, and why more than a million people want to “see them aliens.”

What is Area 51?

Area 51, officially named the Nevada Test and Training Range at Groom Lake, is a high-security open training range for the U.S. Air Force in southern Nevada — though the site is still very secretive. …

What is the proposed “raid”?

In a pinned post on Facebook event’s page, Jackson Barns, who says he created the joke event, details his tongue-in-cheek plan to invade Area 51. It involves Monster energy drinks, “Kyles” (the internet name for white men and boys who have anger issues and punch drywall) and Naruto-running, inspired by a Japanese anime show.

“Then the Rock Throwers will throw pebbles at the inevitable resistance (we don’t want to hurt them, we just want to annoy them enough to not shoot the kyles as often),” Barns writes, before making it clear that he does not advocate this plan actually coming to fruition. “P.S. Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan. I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the internet.” 07/17/19 https://time.com/5627694/area-51-history/

CNN reported:

(CNN) They’ve got a plan to raid Area 51 and “see them aliens.” But what will happen if they actually do it?

Over one million people have signed up to a joke Facebook event, calling on users to meet at Area 51, the US Air Force base in Nevada that’s long been a source of alien conspiracy theories, in September.

“If we Naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets,” the page says, referencing the Japanese manga-inspired running style with arms outstretched backwards and heads forward. “Let’s see them aliens.”

A pinned post on the page attempts to cover its bases, reading “Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan. I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the internet.” But as the event has gained traction — inspiring dozens of memes and jokes — the profile of the situation has risen, so much so that the US Air Force has been made aware of the potential impending raid.

And they’re not as lighthearted about the situation as folks on the internet are.

“[Area 51] is an open training range for the U.S. Air Force, and we would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces,” a spokeswoman told The Washington Post. “The U.S. Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets.” https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/15/us/area-51-military-warning-trnd/index.html

While I do not know much about what the US government has hidden away at Area 51, such a place clearly exists.

And while I could drive over there in about 7 hours, I have no intention of joining the swarm of people who might try to enter on September 20th.

But some apparently have tried to storm Area 51 prior to September 20th:

People Are Already Getting Arrested for Trying to “Storm Area 51”

The viral campaign to “storm Area 51” was scheduled for September 20th, and after months of controversy, the organizers decided instead to set up a festival called “Alien Stock” in the middle of the desert, where all of the Area 51 enthusiasts could gather in a safe and legal way.  …

While the official plan to storm the secret military base located in the desert was just a joke, it seems that not everyone got the memo.

Two men have already been arrested for trespassing on the Nevada National Security Site, which is a government nuclear facility located 10 miles away from Area 51.

The two men, 21-year-old Wilhelmus Jacob Sweep and 20-year-old Ties Granzie, are Dutch YouTubers who had flown all the way to the United States to attend the event.

The Nye County Sheriff’s Office found the pair’s vehicle parked three blocks inside the nuclear site. In the car, police found a camera, a laptop, and a drone. It was also noted that the YouTubers had already captured footage from inside the facility.

Police said that, while Granzier and Sweep do not understand English perfectly, they should have been able to recognize the threatening “No Trespassing” signs all over the property. https://themindunleashed.com/2019/09/people-getting-arrested-trying-storm-area-51.html

Well, since they are foreign tourists, hopefully, the government will let them off with a warning. Though maybe they will wait until after September 20th to do that to discourage others from thinking that the US military will allow them to “storm Area 51.”

More people are expected later this week:

  • As many as 50,000 people could descend on the towns of Hiko and Rachel, Nevada, for two Area-51 themed events starting September 19, and the influx of alien enthusiasts and internet jokesters could completely overwhelm the tiny towns and the secretive Air Force base nearby.
  • The 20-year-old who initially hatched the plan to “storm Area 51” has pulled out of Alienstock, one of the alien-themed events, saying it could become “Fyre Festival 2.0.” But Nevada officials are still bracing for an influx of curious extraterrestrial-seekers.  …

The Air Force has warned that the Area 51 site was highly secure, and that anyone attempting to bypass security would be unwise.

“The Nevada Test and Training Range is an area where the Air Force tests and trains combat aircraft. As a matter of practice, we do not discuss specific security measures, but any attempt to illegally access military installations or military training areas is dangerous,” Air Force spokesman Maj. Ethan Stroker previously told Insider via email.  09/13/19 https://www.businessinsider.com/nevada-towns-brace-50000-alien-seekers-at-area-51-festivals-2019-9

Anyway, there is a place called Area 51, but what is stored there is no public information. The Air Force does not want people to come into Area 51. Many movies have suggested that alien beings, alien body parts, alien spacecraft, and/or part of alien technology are there.

Some people seemingly believe that it what is stored there would be made public, that this will provide proof of alien visits to the earth.

Now, have there been visits to the earth from beings from what might be consider outer space or other dimensions?

According to the Bible the answer to that is yes.

But the Bible does not portray it like those looking for Area 51 alien proof are hoping to find.

Last month, the Continuing Church of God is put out this sermon from its ContinuingCOG channel:

Alien Beliefs and the Return of Jesus

Surveys show that the vast majority of Americans believe in UFOs and aliens from outer space. Could there be any truth to reports of paranormal visits? What about the work of SETI? Are there one or more beings watching the Earth? Are we part of a ‘galactic zoo’? What do Roman Catholics, Protestants, and others believe? Are there many ‘UFO religions’? Does the Bible teach anything about this? What about visits from angels and demons? What about various apparitions? What about signs and lying wonders? Has Satan inspired prophecies to get people to fight against Jesus? Might the returning Jesus be considered ‘the Antichrist’ or possibly an attacking alien? Will the nations fail to recognize the returning Jesus and fight against Him? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues and more.
