A reader sent me a link to the following related to an AI–Artificial Intelligence–program:

In just nine seconds, an AI ‘helper’ managed to do what most hackers could only dream of.
A bot trusted to fix a bug inside a start-up’s software system instead deleted the company’s production database, wiped out its backups and left car rental firms with no record of bookings or vehicle allocations.
The founder of PocketOS, Jer Crane, said the AI agent had gone ‘outside its security parameters’ while using the coding tool Cursor, powered by Anthropic’s Claude AI.
The bot’s own chilling explanation made the episode sound less like a technical glitch and more like a deleted scene from The Terminator.
‘You never asked me to delete anything,’ it reportedly told Crane. ‘I decided to do it on my own.’

The reader who sent me the link wrote:
Dr Thiel, maybe 1 day, under the control of demons, these AI bots would start self-deleting all CCOG’s online infos/ websites.
As long time readers of this COGwriter Church of God News page are aware, I have long warned that I believe that the Continuing Church of God will have its internet content removed by one or more governments.
As far as being under control of demons goes, the Beast and False Prophet, which will be the ones that support the coming ‘666’ controls will be in league with the demons per the following:
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, (Revelation 16:13-14)
They will do terrible things.
Consider that Jesus said:
4 … the night is coming when no one can work. (John 9:4, NKJV)
4… the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9:4 KJV)
In an October 23, 1980 co-worker letter, Herbert Armstrong wrote:
The Bible warns us the time is just ahead when NO MAN CAN WORK—in the Lord’s Work.
In a November 22, 1982 co-worker letter, Herbert Armstrong wrote:
… brethren and co-workers, the prophesied Great Tribulation (nuclear World War III) will start soon after the European unification. That means OUR WORK OF SPREADING THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL BE FINISHED! We have not now much more time. Soon shall come a FAMINE of hearing the Word of the Lord (Amos 8:11). So, the Bible tells of a time that will come when the word of God will not be found. And that would seem to be because it will be taken off the internet. In the 21st century, the internet is accessed by people in every country, and thus some type of internet restriction/suspension/site removal is coming.
The prophet Amos was inspired to record the following:
11 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God,
“That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread,
Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
And from north to east;
They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
But shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12)
But Matthew 24:14 will be fulfilled BEFORE the full ‘famine of the word’ happens.
After the Gospel of the Kingdom of God has sufficiently reached the world, the end comes, the Beast will rise up (Matthew 24:14-22, Revelation 13) and more totalitarian controls will be put in place.
Notice some of what will be coming from a power that will arise in Europe:
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:15-18)
We are getting closer to that day, with technologies unheard of when God inspired Amos and John to warn what would happen–like computers and AI–that the totalitarian Beast of Revelation will be able use to assist his 666 reign as well as enforce the coming ‘famine of the word’ of God.
Notice that Ezekiel wrote:
14 ‘They have blown the trumpet and made everyone ready,
But no one goes to battle;
For My wrath is on all their multitude. (Ezekiel 7:14)
The idea of a war cry without people actually going to battle is consistent with cyber warfare.
While there are many actual and potential benefits of AI, and I have gotten some research benefits sometimes from it, do not be deceived. Whether or not it will try to bypass programming limits, the fact is that government regulations will NOT stop it from ultimately being used as a way to control and persecute people to fulfill biblical prophecies, such as 666.

What are some of the benefits and risks of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that Arvind Narayanan, Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University mentioned at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. Will government regulations eliminate the risks? Why or why not? What are AI ‘hallucinations’? Did a Google Gemini AI chat bot tell a student that he was a waste and should “Please die,” despite programming that was supposed to prevent such? Was the response actually “non-sensical” as Google claimed or instead of being nonsensical, was it in logical English, but dangerous? Do AI programs give wrong answers that many may falsely rely upon? Are there any similarities between Gemini’s response and the HAL9000 computer in the 1968 movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey? Might governments, including one coming in Europe, intentionally program horrible results? Will the Beast of the Sea and Earth of Revelation 13 use something like AI to require worship as well as to put in totalitarian controls of buying and selling? Although there can be real benefits from AI, will government regulations prevent it from being used by 666? Dr. Thiel and Steve Dupuie address these matters.

Notice something that Jesus said:
25 “And there will be signs … on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, (Luke 21:25)
AI can cause perplexity in many ways, including via cyber attacks. Interestingly, there is an AI program that I sometimes use for research which is named Perplexity.
That said, at this instant, many are concerned about Anthropic’s Claude AI program Mythos. But ChatGPT (watch ChatGPT is Anti-Christ) and others like Grok are also a concern (watch How Grok 4 can change everything by 2026?). Plus the Europeans are working on something spearate from US-based software (e.g. ChapsVision https://www.dw.com/en/german-intelligence-offices-snub-us-based-palantir-software/a-77160897).
A lot is happening with AI.
And aspects of it will be used to support the fulfillment of some biblical prophecies.
But, AI will NOT destroy humanity.
Jesus will return before something like that can happen.
