The government has announced plans to introduce a digital ID system across the UK, with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer saying it will ensure the country’s “borders are more secure”.

The IDs will not have to be carried day-to-day, but they will be compulsory for anyone wanting to work.

The government says the scheme will be rolled-out “by the end of the Parliament” – meaning before the next general election, which by law must be held no later than August 2029. …

The digital IDs will be used to prove a person’s right to live and work in the UK.

They will take the form of an app-based system, stored on smartphones in a similar way to the NHS App or digital bank cards.

Information on the holders’ residency status, name, date of birth, nationality and a photo will be included.

Announcing the scheme, Sir Keir said: “You will not be able to work in the United Kingdom if you do not have digital ID. It’s as simple as that.” …

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch said that while there are arguments “for and against” digital ID, making it mandatory “requires a proper national debate”. …

The UK government has said it will “take the best aspects” of digital ID systems used elsewhere around the world, including Estonia, Australia, Denmark and India. …

Many other countries also use digital ID of one kind or another, including Singapore, Greece, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the United Arab Emirates, China, Costa Rica, South Korea and Afghanistan. …

Civil liberties groups argue that even a limited digital ID could pave the way for a more intrusive system, raising concerns about privacy, data security and government overreach.

With all votes counted, 50.4% of those who voted said yes to the proposal, while 49.6% rejected it. …

It was Switzerland’s second vote on digital IDs. An earlier proposal was rejected in 2021, amid concerns the data would be held centrally, and controlled largely by private providers. …

Sunday’s revised proposal keeps the system in government hands. Data will be stored only on the smartphones of individual users, and digital IDs will be optional.

Citizens can continue to use national identity card if they choose, which has been standard for decades in Switzerland.

To further ease privacy concerns, a particular authority seeking information on a person – such as proof of age or nationality, for example – will only be able to check for those specific details.

It comes after the UK government announced plans earlier this week to introduce its own digital ID – which would be mandatory for employment – as part of efforts to curb the number of illegal migrants living and working in the country.

As part of a broader campaign to expand its global influence in the digital era, the European Union has introduced a sweeping International Digital Strategy that leans heavily on centralized infrastructure, digital identity systems, and regulatory frameworks that raise significant questions about online freedoms and privacy.

The European Commission, in announcing the initiative, stressed its intent to collaborate with foreign governments on a range of areas, prominently featuring digital identity systems and what it calls “Digital Public Infrastructure.”

These frameworks, which have garnered widespread support from transnational institutions such as the United Nations and the World Economic Forum, are being marketed as tools to streamline cross-border commerce and improve mobility.

However, for privacy advocates, the strategy raises red flags due to its promotion of interoperable digital ID programs and a surveillance-oriented model of governance under the guise of efficiency.

According to the strategy documents, one of the EU’s objectives is to drive mutual recognition of electronic trust services, including digital IDs, across partner nations such as Ukraine, Moldova, and several Balkan and Latin American countries. This aligns with the EU’s ambitions to propagate its model of the Digital Identity Wallet, an initiative that privacy campaigners warn could entrench government control over personal data.

The strategy also outlines measures to deepen cooperation on global digital regulation, including laws that govern online speech. …

In framing digital transformation as both an economic imperative and a security concern, the EU’s strategy reinforces a convergence of interests between state power and corporate infrastructure. This is not a surprise as the EU has been moving in this direction for years. The picture at the beginning of this post is the logo for a relatively new EU office to enforce various regulations. We warned about that back in 2019:

The European Union is in the process of establishing the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.This is a major, first-of-its-kind move, with the EU setting up a European-wide prosecutor’s office that will have power to investigate and charge people for financial crimes committed against the EU. It looks like this type of office may end up persecuting those that do not have the mark of the Beast when they “buy or sell” as that will later be considered a financial crime in Europe. What does 666 mean? How has that name be calculated? How can we be certain that this is a prophecy for Europe and not Islam? Is the appointment of this new office of significant prophetic importance? The fact is that things like digital ids are leading to censorship which will also lead to the coming ‘famine of the word’ (cf. Amos 8:11-12).

Participating in society includes the ability to use a computer, communicate, buy goods, and travel, to name just a few–and the EU’s Digital Services Acts can affect all of that and more.

The globalists want to be able to monitor who is buying or saying anything.

Furthermore, if there were to be carbon passports, that would likely be tied in with your purchases so you could be monitored by some official view of how much harm your purchases cause the environment.

This is helping set the stage for the rise of the Beast who will gain power after the 4th seal of Revelation (which is the ride of the pale horse of death) is opened.

Expect to see various new totalitarian steps implemented and/or proposed in 2025.

Meetings in Europe are promoting ways that will lead to more totalitarian controls.

Globalism Conspiracy or Convergence?

In May of 2022, the World Economic Forum held a conference where thousands of the world’s elites attended, essentially in support of a ‘great reset’ to change society. In June 2022, the Bilderberg Group met essentially to do the same thing. In June 2022, Pope Francis told a group invited by Cardinal Kurt Koch, “Unity does not come about by standing still.” Whereas the Roman Catholic group, whose co-president in Marc Stengel, called for more cooperation with the United Nations and apparently supporters of Gandhi. The World Council of Churches also supports the globalist agenda as do the Freemasons and others. Could Satan be the real conspirator behind this? Will humanity be able to bring about utopia? Or can true Christian unity and utopia only come about with the return of Jesus and the Kingdom of God? Will the globalist agenda succeed for a time? Dr. Thiel addresses these and other issues.

Election results from Moldova are being considered as pro-European Union. EuroNews reported the following:

Moldova’s pro-EU party wins high-stakes parliamentary election

29 September 2025

Moldova’s pro-European Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) claimed a clear lead and a new majority in parliamentary elections on Sunday, seen as pivotal for the country’s future on its path to EU membership.

With nearly all polling station reports counted, electoral data showed the pro-EU PAS won 50.1% of the vote, while the pro-Russian Patriotic Electoral Bloc had 24.2%.

The Russia-friendly Alternativa Bloc came third, followed by the populist Our Party. The right-wing Democracy at Home party also won enough votes to enter parliament. https://www.euronews.com/2025/09/29/moldovas-pro-eu-party-takes-clear-lead-in-parliamentary-election

While the final tally of votes may be different, 50.1% is not much of a majority.

The fact is that there is a lot of pro-Russian sentiment in Moldova, but some of it has been suppressed. Notice the following, also from EuroNews:

Moldova’s electoral commission barred a pro-Russian party from participating in this weekend’s parliamentary elections on Friday, a vote beleaguered by widespread claims of Russian interference. …

The Heart of Moldova party is one of four parties in the Russia-friendly Patriotic Electoral Bloc (BEP), which is viewed as one of the main opponents of the ruling pro-Western Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS).

The Central Electoral Commission’s decision was based on a ruling a day earlier by the Chișinău Court of Appeal, which restricted the party’s activities for 12 months. …

The BEP says it wants “friendship with Russia,” permanent neutrality and a “state that serves the people, not officials.”

Irina Vlah, leader of the Heart of Moldova, condemned “the abusive decision” and called it a “political spectacle, concocted a long time ago” by the ruling party.

So, a couple of days before the election, a major party was not allowed to participate. That suggests that there were perhaps more pro-Russian voters than pro-EU ones.

Moldova’s ruling pro-EU Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) has secured a narrow majority in the nation’s parliamentary election, according to preliminary results published by the Central Election Commission (CEC).

Votes from abroad pushed PAS past the threshold needed to continue governing without a coalition partner. Inside the country, however, it received only 44.13%, with its strongest support in the capital, Chisinau, where it polled at 52.68%.  …

Voters in opposition-leaning areas were effectively sidelined. Residents of the breakaway region of Transnistria, home to nearly half a million people, were left with only 12 polling stations, all located on government-controlled territory. Several abruptly relocated further away from the area on the eve of the vote.

In Russia, where tens of thousands of Moldovan citizens reside, Chisinau opened just two stations out of more than 300 foreign polling sites. Only about 4,100 votes were counted there, with long lines leaving many unable to cast their ballots before the locations closed their doors. …

More than 30 international organizations and 120 observers from over 50 countries were denied accreditation, including Russian experts nominated to the OSCE mission. https://www.rt.com/russia/625543-moldova-ruling-majority-vote/

This is the second time in a year that the pro-EU side reportedly won an election in Moldova because of the votes of people who no longer live in Moldova. The last time was last October (see Moldova seems to have narrowly voted to move towards EU, yet nearly half seem to prefer Russia).

This suggests that many who actually live in Moldova believe that they would be better off with closer ties to Russia than the European Union.

Marina Tauber, Sor’s general secretary, who led today’s protest outside parliament, says that her party not opposed to the EU and wants good relations with all sides.

But there are those in her party who admit they would welcome Russian intervention. …

Orhei – an hour’s drive north of the capital Chisinau – is a Sor stronghold where we meet party Councillor Iurie Berenchi.

“We’re not afraid,” he told me, “Because if Russia wanted to take Moldova, they’d do it in half a day.”

When asked if she would welcome that, Mr Berenchi is unequivocal.

“In my personal opinion, yes,” he said. “With Russia we’d be much better off than we are now.”

Many people in Chisinau see closer ties with the West as a way to secure Moldova’s independence and democracy at a critical time. President Sandu’s party has a solid majority in parliament.

But the view from the crowd outside that parliament on Sunday was different, and there’s the risk the pressure could widen the splits in Moldova’s diverse society.

The risk is clear when Ala and her friends were asked whether they believe Russia wants to infiltrate Moldova, as their president fears.

Yes, it has long been the case that a substantial amount of people living in Moldova like Russia and many want to be part of Russia.

Russia, Sanctions, Transnistria, Europe & Prophecy

In 2014 the USA and European Union put sanctions on Russia because of its acquisition of Crimea. Since Russia’s ‘Special Military Operation’ into Ukraine, more sanctions were added. On February 23, 2024, the EU and USA announced more sanctions. Did the sanctions turn the “ruble into rubble” as Joe Biden hoped? Did Russia acquire more territory as Dr. Thiel warned in 2013, 2018, and 2022 prior to the current conflict? Was he right about sanctions? Will Russia and Europe acquire more territory? Will they one day trade more with each other? Will they one day turn against each other? What about Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, and Armenia? Are the Russian-led ‘kings of the Medes’ prophesied to destroy the coming Babylonian European Beast power? Does Europe, starting with Benelux to the European Economic Community to the European Union look to be fulfilling Daniel 8:9? Steve Dupuie and Dr. Thiel address these issues.

That being said, some Elamites are believed to have been the progenitors of the Serbs,[iii] but some part of the Medes (from Madai) may also have been involved.

Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus tend to be considered as East Slavs. They tend to be descended from Japheth’s sons Madai, Tubal, Mechech, and Gomer (Genesis 10:2).

All of which have descendants in Russia. Belarus seems to have mainly descended from Madai (or possibly Midian).

There were numerous tribes of the Medes (which descended from Madai) with the Buzhians in the northwest part of Ukraine.[v]

Russia, which is both in Europe and Asia, will, for a time, prosper through trade with the coming European Beast (as will Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine). …

Peoples prophetically called Medes are also shown to destroy the final Babylon according to both Isaiah and Jeremiah:

¹ The burden against Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw…

¹⁷ “Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them,
Who will not regard silver; And as for gold, they will not delight in it. ¹⁸ Also their bows will dash the young men to pieces, And they will have no pity on the fruit of the womb; Their eye will not spare children. ¹⁹ And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, The beauty of the Chaldeans’ pride, Will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. (Isaiah 13:1, 17-19)

¹¹ Make the arrows bright! Gather the shields! The Lord has raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes. For His plan is against Babylon to destroy it, Because it is the vengeance of the Lord, The vengeance for His temple. (Jeremiah 51:11)

The fact that there are multiple kings of the Medes indicates that powers involved in this end time confederation represent multiple governments. This would seem to include Russia, Belarus, and likely Crimea, Donbas, and some others in Ukraine, some in Moldova, perhaps some from the nation of Georgia, and some in Iran, etc.

Anciently, “Darius the Mede” (Daniel 5:31) conquered the old Babylon—modern “Medes” will help do the same to the end-time daughter of Babylon.

The following passages seem also to apply:

⁸ “Move from the midst of Babylon, Go out of the land of the Chaldeans; And be like the rams before the flocks. ⁹ For behold, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon An assembly of great nations from the north country, And they shall array themselves against her; From there she shall be captured. Their arrows shall be like those of an expert warrior; None shall return in vain. (Jeremiah 50:8-9)

Those who believe the Bible should leave the midst of end-time Babylon by then. Certainly, the above “north country” includes Russia, but other passages clearly point to others from Asia being involved (Jeremiah 51:27-29).

Notice some of what will happen to the coming European Babylonian Beast power led by a power from the farthest parts of the earth (Russia is the nation that is the farthest east and close to being the farthest north nation):

22 Thus says the Lord: “Behold, a people comes from the north country, And a great nation will be raised from the farthest parts of the earth.

23 They will lay hold on bow and spear; They are cruel and have no mercy; Their voice roars like the sea; And they ride on horses, As men of war set in array against you, O daughter of Zion.”

24 We have heard the report of it; Our hands grow feeble. Anguish has taken hold of us, Pain as of a woman in labor. 25 Do not go out into the field, Nor walk by the way. Because of the sword of the enemy, Fear is on every side. 26 O daughter of my people, Dress in sackcloth And roll about in ashes! Make mourning as for an only son, most bitter lamentation; For the plunderer will suddenly come upon us. (Jeremiah 6:22-26)

41 “Behold, a people shall come from the north, And a great nation and many kings Shall be raised up from the ends of the earth. 42 They shall hold the bow and the lance; They are cruel and shall not show mercy. Their voice shall roar like the sea; They shall ride on horses, Set in array, like a man for the battle, Against you, O daughter of Babylon.

43 “The king of Babylon has heard the report about them, And his hands grow feeble; Anguish has taken hold of him, Pangs as of a woman in childbirth.  (Jeremiah 50:41-43)

The “great nation” from the “farthest parts of the earth” includes Russia. There are also nations that will be confederate with it. … When the “daughter of Babylon” is in the process of falling, many will abandon supporting it.

Much of the world is moving towards a type of integration that will result in the final time of the Gentiles (Luke 21:24; see also The Times of the Gentiles).

There are some similarities between Ukraine and Moldova–both nations have a lot of Russian speakers, have had pro-Russian governments, and have territory in the east that prefers closer ties with Russia.

Moldova is probably still the poorest nation in Europe (without Western aid, Ukraine likely would be now). Both Russia and the European Union want it. Moldova has applied to be part of the EU, but Russia does not like that.

The European Union wants nearly all of continental Europe to be part of it, and that includes Moldova. Moldova is a land, which like Ukraine, some in the West see as a ‘buffer’ against Russia because of geographic proximity.

Russia’s Vladimir Putin, on the other hand, wants all the former Soviet states, including Moldova and Ukraine, to become part of Russia or at least part of his Eurasian Economic Union.

Moldovans took some steps towards the European Union several years ago, which made them poorer as this displeased Russia, and also restricted aspects of trade. But with a major part of its workforce actually out of the country but working within the European Union, this has greatly increased its support for the EU. Many in Moldova do not trust Russia and believe that they will be freer and wealthier as part of the European Union. Others have been disappointed with the Europeans and have serious doubts that the Europeans can improve their lives for some time as the protests help demonstrate.

So what will happen?

Some areas will, ultimately according to scripture, align with Russia.

Yet, the Bible also teaches that the European Beast power will expand to the south and the east.

Notice that, in Daniel 8, the Bible prophesied that a little horn would mainly expand south and east:

9 And out of one of them came a little horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land. 10 And it grew up to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the ground, and trampled them. 11 He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down. 12 Because of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground. He did all this and prospered. (Daniel 8:9-12).

And while the above has had a past fulfillment, this prophecy seems to be dual (compare with Daniel 11:27-39). The European Union has mainly expanded south and east of the Benelux nations (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg)–which is where it initially formed. Now, approximately 450 million people are under a new, single (though not completed united) government, called the European Union, headquartered in Brussels. Ukraine is mainly east of much of the EU–thus its geography is consistent with at least some of it being part of the EU. And Moldova and Georgia are south and east, which is also consistent.

In the old Radio Church of God, the late evangelist Dr. Hoeh taught that this little horn of Daniel 8 was the power that would become the final King of the North:

Turn in your Bible to verse 9: “And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.” …

The King of the North

The little horn in Daniel 8 is none other than the LAST KING of one of the four divisions of Alexander’s Empire. He is, in fact, the final “King of the North” described in Daniel 11. (Hoeh H. The 2300 Days. Plain Truth, August 1965)

Again, it looks like at least part of Moldova will support the Europeans for a time. The same is the case for Ukraine.

However, at least part of those both land look like they will ultimately align with Russia.

Rabbi Mendel Kessin: “UN Declaring Palestinian State is Gog and Magog”

September 28, 2025

Rabbi Mendel Kessin is an internationally renowned lecturer and educator who has spoken extensively around the world. He began teaching about the end-of-days implications of current events and politics more than a decade ago. Rabbi Kessin recently released a statement condemning the move in the United Nations in which 157 of the 193 member states, or approximately 81% of all UN members, recognized the sovereignty of a “Palestinian state.”

“They did this on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, the day of judgement. This would mean the following,” Rabbi Kessin said. “The United Nations is Gog and Magog.”

The rabbi noted that the gematria (Hebrew numerology) of ‘Gog and Magog’ (גוג ומגוג) is 70.

“The UN represents the world, basically 70 nations, and therefore they must defy Israel, which is, of course, to declare the Palestinian state,” Rabbi Kessin said. “They must do this before the New Year. We are now witnessing the actual defiance of the United Nations in terms of Gog and Magog trying to overthrow Israel, which is incredible, because that is a messianic event.”

The “Gog and Magog” prophecy, from the biblical Book of Ezekiel, describes an alliance of nations that will invade Israel. Indeed, declaring a Palestinian state inside the borders of Israel is effectively an attempt at invasion that wrests the Promised Land from the Jews.

“This had to happen this year, 5785 (תשפ״ה), because it is a Messianic event and it must happen before 5785. This means Moshiach (Messiah) is coming.”

The rabbi noted that 5786 is the exact value of the ten plagues that struck Egypt before the Children of Israel were redeemed. Jewish sources predict that all of the plagues will reappear in the final Redemption but in even more powerful forms. This reload of the Egyptian plagues was prophesied by Micah.

The above is nonsense for many reasons.

The United Nations represents 193 nations, not 70. Hence that part of the numerology is wrong.

Second, it was not the year 5785 nor is it now the year 5786. That year date was adjusted by subtracting over 200 years back in the 130s A.D. by the Jew.

As far as the biblical vs. Jewish wrong year goes, here is a video of possibly related interest, made 7 years ago:

Jewish scholars recognize their touted year is off by over two centuries. Hence, again, Mendel Kessin’s numerology does not make logical sense.

Nor is Gog and Magog of Ezekiel 38 the United Nations.

Ezekiel 38 is for over a thousand years away.

Let us look at what the Bible actually teaches.

This Gog Magog war is in Ezekiel 38, so let’s start with its first 7 verses:

1 Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. 5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops — many people are with you.

7 “Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them.

Verses 1-7 talk about a group getting ready to battle. Various nations such as Russia, Iran, Asians, and others are included here. Verse 5, mentioning Persia, is a reference to the land of Iran. That area that Iran currently occupies will one day be involved in this battle. This is NOT all the nations of the world, nor the United Nations.

Does Ezekiel 38 and 39 Refer to Russia?

Nearly all Bible students believe that Ezekiel’s amazing prophecy refers to Russia. Yet they totally misapply the time of its fulfillment. It is referring to an invasion of Palestine after Christ has restored His people Israel to Palestine. This has been amply proved in articles in The PLAIN TRUTH…Notice that it is Gog and Magog (Ezek. 38:2) which will come against the nation in which Christ’s capital will be located (verse 16). Notice again that Gog and Magog come “out of the north parts” (verse 15 ) where Russia is today. (Does Ezekiel 38 and 39 Refer to Russia? Good News, August 1954, p. 5)

Future Russo / China Alliance?

Ultimately allied with the Russians under Gog will be “many people” (Ezek. 38:6,9,15). These could hardly exclude the militarily weaker Chinese and their Asiatic kinsmen those eastern Magogites who “dwell securely in the coastlands” of the Pacific (39:6, The Amplified Bible). The People’s Republic of China the “many people” of Ezekiel 38 is thus pictured as being linked with Gog in the last days…

Linked with the Russians and the other nations of the Orient in the vast end-time Asian confederacy will be Persia, Cush, Phut, Gomer and Togarmah (Ezek. 38:5- 6). Who are these peoples today?

History and Scripture identify them as the very peoples of the South Asian region. Willingly or unwillingly, they will all be drawn into the Soviet sphere of influence in the years just ahead! Let us look at each one individually. Let us begin with Persia (Ezek. 38:5), the most easily identified. Persia is simply another name for modern-day Iran. The name Persia originated from a geographical region within southern Iran. This region was anciently known as Persis, the Greek form of Old Persian Parsa. Historically, the people of Iran have never used the name Persia for their country. (Southeast Asia in Prophecy. Ambassador College Press, 1985)

What does the Bible actually teach about the timing? Let’s continue in Ezekiel 38:

8 After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. 9 You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you.”

10 ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: 11 You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’ — 12 to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. 13 Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”‘

Israel has its walls and “iron dome” and military weaponry. Notice that it is against a ‘peaceful people’ in unarmed villages that the prince of Rosh is going against. This cannot happen until AFTER the return of Jesus. Furthermore, there simply is not a plan to take a lot of gold and silver out of Israel right now by the power of the far north, nor does the current nation of Israel have enough of it to likely justify an attack for that purpose (unless perhaps some hidden gold/silver mines or remaining treasure of David).

According to Index Mundi, the nation of Israel was not among the top 48 producers of silver in the world, so its supply of this would also seem to be limited–it also confirmed that Israel does not have gold reserves (though there is some gold and silver in coins, etc. in Israel). Israel in the early 21st century is NOT the target of Ezekiel 38.

While in many ways Nick Giambruno is right, biblical prophecies point to this happening a bit differently than he has laid it out.

Debt will end in disaster for not just the dollar, but the USA itself.

The time will come, according to Bible prophecy, when the nations of the world will no longer accept the pledges (US Treasury Bills and Notes) of the indebted one:

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. …

6 “Will not all these take up a proverb against him,
And a taunting riddle against him, and say,
‘Woe to him who increases
What is not his — how long?
And to him who loads himself with many pledges’?
7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly?
Will they not awaken who oppress you?
And you will become their booty. (Habakkuk 2:3, 6-7).

Please pay attention to the fact that that above is a prophecy for the appointed time of the end–essentially the time of the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21)–which is the start of WWIII. The USA has been accumulating pledges in the form of US Treasury bonds and notes, and is the most indebted nation of all time. It is descendants of Israel, like the USA, that are prophesied to have debt issues with foreigners if they turn from God’s laws (cf. Deuteronomy 28:43-44)–that is consistent with Habakkuk 2:6-8. The above prophecy is NOT a reference to the nation calling itself Israel as it has nothing compared to USA debt.

The creditors rising up to takeover over the USA should be considered to be WWIII.

Now, what about gold?

I saw the Protestant author and commentator Joel Rosenberg state that Christians need to have gold, because of the unexpected.

Well no, I would state that the reason Christians in the end time may wish to consider owning gold is because of the expected. Because of prophecies in Habakkuk, it is certain that a highly indebted people will be taken over, that, also would mean that its currency would end up as worthless.

But what about gold?

While the Bible shows that the time will come when people will throw their gold into the streets (Ezekiel 7:19) and it is not proper for Christians to trust in gold (James 5:1-3), it also shows that gold will have value up until the fall of the prophesied final Babylon (Revelation 18:2-16).

What about the USA and gold?

The prophet Daniel was inspired to write down the following end time prophecy related to the final European King of the North who values gold before the USA is attacked:

37 He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. 38 But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things.

39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:37-39)

The USA is the power with the strongest fortresses in the 21st century. Note that it is to be defeated in verse 39. Its dollar will then be worthless by someone who valued gold.

But what about gold afterwards? Continuing in Daniel 11, notice what else we see:

40 “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. … 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; (Daniel 11:40, 43)

This king of the North who will end up with gold is the coming European Beast power.

Why Gold? …

Voltaire concluded, “All paper eventually returns to its intrinsic value — zero.” In 1871 the British economist David Ricardo noted, “Experience has shown that neither a state nor a bank ever had the unrestricted power of issuing paper money without abusing that power.”

The United States, blessed with staggering wealth, vast natural resources, and phenomenal industrial and agricultural output, is in a serious financial situation. It makes no sense — except for the fact that national leaders were quite prepared to dilute the value of the nation’s money supply. The decision defrauded the citizens by stealing the purchasing power of wages and savings.

This sinister aspect of inflation was explained by the British economist John Maynard Keynes in 1919: “By a continuing process of inflation, governments can secretly and unobserved, confiscate an important part of the wealth of their citizens.” Mr. Keynes himself advocated this form of government policy. But as people begin to experience inflation and see their wealth quickly disappearing, they try to protect themselves through investing and speculating in more stable commodities, including gold.

Anyway, because of biblical prophecies, we can be certain that gold will have value after the USA’s dollar is worthless.

Since many are now questioning the role of the USA dollar as the world’s reserve currency, more are looking into other currencies as well as gold.

Now, despite having ups and downs, as well as records hit in 2024, gold will set further records in U.S. dollar terms in the relatively near future.

Since the above came out in mid-January 2025, gold has hit daily record prices in US dollar terms over 3 dozen times through September 26, 2025 per data at https://www.barchart.com/futures/quotes/GCM25/performance.

Factors in this have included USA debt, trade policies, sanctions, international cooperation, desire to push aside the USA dollar as the world’s premier reserve and trading currency, as well as various bullying tactics from the government of the USA.

Things will NOT continue as they have been.

There are costs to US deficits, sanctions, tariffs, and bullying tactics.

Many nations are increasing their gold reserves while decreasing their holds of US dollars.

This will not end well for the USA (cf. Daniel 11:39; Isaiah 10:5-11).

The prophetic bottom line is that WWIII will lead to the end of the USA and its dollar. For at least 2 1/2 years after that, gold will have value, while the USA dollar will  basically be worth no more than the scrap value of the cotton-paper it is printed on.

That said, although metals will have value after the USA dollar becomes worthless, remember to NOT place your confidence in the US dollar, democracy, the Euro, silver, or gold, as it is “godliness” that “is profitable for all things” (1 Timothy 4:8), so remember “seek first the Kingdom of God” (Matthew 6:33).

WWIII, Gold, and the Collapse of the Dollar

Is World War Three coming soon? Changes in the world order are rare, history-defining events—with massive implications, both geopolitical and financial. Is owning gold by Christians for the unexpected as Joel Rosenberg has publicly stated or, perhaps, for those who believe biblical prophecies, for the expected? Will the US Dollar collapse? In a word, yes. Could the USA be the highly indebted nation that Habakkuk 2:6-8 refers to? WWIII will mean the end of the USA dollar when that nation is conquered per Daniel 11:39, whereas gold will continue to have value per Daniel 11:43 and the 18th chapter of the Book of Revelation. Prophecy indicates that the massive debt of the USA will result in the take over of the USA (Habakkuk 2). While gold will continue to have value after the destruction of the US Dollar, we should not put our confidence in either. Will gold one day be worthless? Put your confidence in God and His Word. Seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33).

Bible prophecy confirms that is not wise to trust in the USA nor its dollar. Nor, ultimately gold for that matter–trust God:

Yes, trust God. Which probably means you need to change certain things in your life.

Interior Minister Dobrindt has said he wants deals to deport Syrians by year’s end and Afghanistan after that. …

German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt on Saturday said Berlin hopes to strike a deportation deal with the Syrian government by year’s end.

The deal will focus on the repatriation of Syrians who have been denied asylum yet remain in Germany.

“We want to reach an agreement with Syria this year and initially deport criminals, followed later by those without legal residence,” Dobrindt said in remarks published in the regional Rheinische Post newspaper. …

How many Syrians are in Germany?

Germany has not deported anyone to Syria since 2012.

Dobrindt said he has instructed the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) to partially resume the review of paused asylum applications in order to determine who can stay and who must be deported.

Though numbers remain low, Germany’s Interior Ministry said that 1,867 people had voluntarily returned to Syria between the fall of Bashar Assad last December and the end of August.

About 955,000 Syrian nationals are currently living in Germany according to BAMF’s Central Register of Foreigners (AZR), with Interior Department data documenting that about 83,150 had become German citizens in 2024.

Berlin also keen on Afghans’ deportation, Dobrindt says

Dobrindt said he also aims to establish “regular and systematic” deportations to Afghanistan.

In response to the rapidly evolving situation inside Syria, several governments in Europe have suspended decisions on asylum applications from Syrians while they await clarity on security and human rights conditions in the country.

UNHCR is calling on all States to ensure Syrians in need of international protection can still seek safety and asylum. Could what we are seeing now in the news be a step?

We should expect to see civil unrest and riots in parts of Europe related to Muslims and the desire of many Europeans to have them leave Europe.

Consider also that other Roman Catholic writings also point to Islam being pushed out of Europe:

Brother Louis Rocco (19th century): Terrible wars will rage all over Europe. … In Istanbul (Constantinople) the Cross will replace the half-moon of Islamism, and Jerusalem will be the seat of a King. The southern Slavs will form a great Catholic Empire and drive out of Europe the Turks (Mohammedans), who will withdraw to North Africa and subsequently embrace the Catholic faith. (Dupont, p.76)

St. Francis de Paul (d. 1507): A new order will be founded, that of the Cruciferi, because its members will carry the cross on their banners…The Crusaders will lead the Mohammedans, the teachers of heretical doctrines and bad Christians back to Christ…the power of Islam {was} destroyed by the Great Monarch. (Culleton, The Reign of Antichrist, p. 142).

Note: Sometimes the expression “the Turks” refers to Islam and not just people from Turkey.

Power will be given to a leader, that sounds like the ‘Great Monarch,’ as Europe is prophesied to go through at least two major reorganizations in Revelation 17:

12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)

Many of the migrants that Europeans are concerned about are Muslim, from Islamically-dominated lands.

With that in mind, notice the following Roman Catholic prophecy:

Rudolph Gekner (died 1675): A great prince of the North with a most powerful army will traverse all Europe, uproot all republics, and exterminate all rebels. His sword … will combat on behalf of the true orthodox faith, and shall subdue to his dominion the Mahometan Empire. (Connor E. Prophecy for Today. Imprimatur + A.J. If the above has a lot of accuracy (and it has certain biblical consistency), it seems to also show that all (or at least some) republics in Europe are to be uprooted and a “great prince of the North” (also called the King of the North in Daniel 11:40) will rise up–he is prophesied to eliminate a power of the currently Muslim-dominated nations in Daniel 11:40-43.

The Bible in Revelation 17:12-13 supports the idea of republics being replaced by a different form of governance.

Remember that many in Europe already want the Islamic migrants to go. And it may well take military action to remove a lot of them.

The 193-member U.N. General Assembly overwhelmingly endorsed this month a seven-page declaration that aims to advance a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians and end the Gaza war between Israel and Hamas militants.

Separately, U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff said on Wednesday that Trump had presented a 21-point peace plan for the Middle East and Gaza during a meeting with leaders of several Muslim-majority countries on the sidelines of this week’s U.N. “We do not want an armed state,” he told world leaders, outlining a vision of a “modern and democratic” Palestine based on rule of law, peaceful transition of power, and respect for human rights, youth and women’s empowerment.

Turning to the international community, President Abbas lamented that more than 1,000 UN resolutions on Palestine remained unimplemented, despite Palestinian leaders embracing peace agreements and recognizing Israel since the Oslo Accords in 1993.

Israel, he said, had “systematically” undermined those accords while Palestinians adhered to their commitments, including rejecting violence and restructuring national institutions.

He welcomed the outcomes of a high-level conference in New York earlier this week, co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia, and expressed gratitude to the growing number of countries recognizing Palestine, urging others to follow suit and support full UN membership.

He said Palestine is ready to work with the United States, Saudi Arabia, France, the United Nations and all partners to implement the peace plan adopted this week, adding that “peace cannot be achieved if justice is not achieved, and there can be no justice if Palestine is not freed.”

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas claimed the PA is prepared to renounce terrorism and make peace with Israel in his address to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Thursday.

“We amended our National Charter, and we rejected violence and terrorism, and we adopted a culture of peace,” Abbas said in his speech. “We made all our efforts to build the institutions of a modern Palestinian state that lives side by side in peace and security with Israel.”

Abbas insisted Thursday the PA is ready “to bear full responsibility for governance and security” in the Gaza Strip, where Hamas “will not have a role to play.”The PA has been eager to replace Hamas in Gaza, but Israel has rejected the idea outright, while the US and the Arab world have maintained that Ramallah must undergo significant reforms until it can be better suited for the role and that a transitional body of independent Palestinian technocrats should govern the Strip in the interim.Still, Abbas reiterated what much of the international community would like to hear — that “Hamas and other factions will have to hand over their weapons to the Palestinian Authority as part of a process to build the institutions of one state, one law and one legal security force.”

Israel’s position is not popular with many nations.

That said, according to biblical prophecies, we know that a European leader will be involved in confirming the coming prophesied deal of Daniel 9:26-27, which states:

26 And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate (Daniel 9:26-27).

The “prince” is a European leader who is later called the King of the North in Daniel 11:40. The ‘one week’ has generally been understood by prophecy watchers to mean a seven year deal, that is broken in the middle of it (after 3 1/2 years). This break is also confirmed in the following scripture:

31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 11:31)

The “him” is the European King of the North.

While peace deals, themselves, tend to come after conflict, could it be that parts of what President Abbas proposed, combined with some points from the UN, USA, the Vatican, and/or EU be a type of tentative deal that could be confirmed by someone before Israel ever agrees to accept it?

If we see a time element as part of a plan for Israel and the Palestinians soon, and that is endorsed by someone like Germany’s former Defense Minister, Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, that could possibly be what is prophesied in Daniel 9:26-27.

If so, that would begin the countdown to the Great Tribulation and also the return of Jesus.

A major regional war may be a prelude to the final peace deal that could fulfill Daniel 9:27. Or the deal may be proposed, but not accepted until after destruction hits Israel in places like Jerusalem.

EU policymakers are still working on the digital euro’s legislative framework, but the ECB says it could be ready by mid-2029.

Most Europeans expect the upcoming digital euro to be secure, easy to use, and free of charge, according to a new survey by the European Consumers Organization (BEUC). The poll gathered responses from more than 10,000 consumers across 10 eurozone countries.

If a new digital payment method, such as the digital euro, were to be introduced in Europe, the majority of consumers (86% of adults) said that they would be at least somewhat concerned about not being able to get their money back in the event of fraud or scams. Furthermore, 87% said that paying digitally should be free for consumers.

“A digital euro will be attractive to consumers if it is easy to use, including for those currently struggling with digital payments, if it provides a strong protection against fraud including good refund rights, and if basic services such as a payment card is offered for free,” said Agustín Reyna, BEUC’s director general.

On paper, the project sounds appealing. Unlike bank deposits or cryptocurrencies, the digital euro would carry no financial risk — it would be the electronic equivalent of cash, designed to reduce the EU’s reliance on US providers like Visa and Mastercard. …

“The digital euro is not just a means of payment, it is also a political statement concerning the sovereignty of Europe and its capacity to handle the payment, including on a cross-border basis, with a European infrastructure and solution,” ECB president Christine Lagarde said at a press conference in Copenhagen.

Notice that one reason for a digital euro is to reduce EU reliance on the USA’s financial companies. Notice also that it is a political statement of independence. The EU wants to be independent of the USA in many ways.

Officially introduced by the ECB in October 2020, the digital euro project has emerged as one of Europe’s longest-discussed financial initiatives.

In June 2023, the European Commission published a legal proposal for a potential digital euro, yet progress within the European Parliament has remained limited.

Meanwhile, the ECB has steadily advanced the project, completing its investigation phase in November 2023 and moving into a preparation phase set to finish by October 2025.

Private property will disappear forever and every good will be available only as a rental service: from the television to the smartphone, from the car to the house up to the washing machine, the refrigerator or the hairdryer. Everything will be on loan, after all, CBDCs are famous for their expiration date and in any case you will no longer be able to accumulate money or sell used objects.

Entrance to sporting events, concerts, museums or places of worship may be subject to economic and behavioral criteria, allowing access only to those who meet certain conditions. …

Biometrics will also allow selectively blocking individuals or social categories from accessing their own funds, with the simple revocation of payment authorization. A citizen deemed unfit, dissident or dangerous can be economically excluded in a few seconds, without the need for physical seizures of assets or bureaucratic processes. Their access to money will simply be deactivated, instantly depriving them of the ability to purchase food, transportation or essential services.

Yes, having digital CBDCs, or something similar, will give governments even more control than they now have.

Number 13 of my list of 25 items to prophetically watch in 2025 has the following:

13. CBDCs and 666

Notice the following prophecy:

16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:16-18)

This type of financial surveillance could not have happened during the time of the Apostle John as there was no real way to monitor many financial transactions then (despite the fact that ‘preterists’ believe this was fulfilled almost 2000 years ago, see also The Dangerous Rise of Preterists). The same was true for all the centuries that followed until the late 20th and now the 21st century. But now not only does the technology exist to monitor most financial transactions, the political will is there as well.

It will be a European power that will fulfill the above prophecy of 666 (watch Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?).

Europe has claimed that it will be the dominant force in cryptocurrency. A supercomputer may be able to trace all owners and users, as well as even decode blockchain technology.

The Europeans, themselves, will continue to push for a CBDC or other type of digital currency.

Many within BRICS will push for a CBDC or other form of digital currency.

While 2025 will not see a cashless world, expect to see more movements towards monitorable payments.

Expect to see more steps related to Central Bank Digital Currencies in 2025.

The fall of the US dollar and the trend towards digital money will concern many.

All of this is why, over the past week or so, there’s been growing talk of the formation of an “Islamic NATO,” a defense alliance of Islamic and Arab states that could work similarly to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or NATO.

At an emergency summit organized by the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation last week, Egyptian officials suggested a NATO-style, joint task force for Arab nations. In a speech at the summit, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani also called for a collective approach to regional security. And the six members of the Gulf Cooperation Council, or GCC — Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates — said they would activate a provision in a joint defense agreement, first signed in 2000, that said an attack on one member state was an attack on all.

The phrasing is similar to that used in Article 5 of the NATO pact. …

Saudi Arabia announced it was entering into a “strategic mutual defense agreement” with Pakistan. The two countries declared “any aggression against either country shall be considered an aggression against both.” …

The Bible shows that God controls the weather:

26 “Behold, God is great, and we do not know Him; Nor can the number of His years be discovered. 27 For He draws up drops of water, Which distill as rain from the mist, 28 Which the clouds drop down And pour abundantly on man. 29 Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of clouds, The thunder from His canopy? 30 Look, He scatters His light upon it, And covers the depths of the sea. 31 For by these He judges the peoples; He gives food in abundance. 32 He covers His hands with lightning, And commands it to strike. 33 His thunder declares it, The cattle also, concerning the rising storm. (Job 36:26-33)

Yes, God controls the weather. Jesus’ disciples got to see this first hand:

23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. 24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. 25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. 27 So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” (Matthew 8:23-27)

Presumably, the disciples learned something from that experience.

Wet weather is sometimes used by God for judgment and correction. Typhoons are consistent with prophecy.

Any ties to homosexuality and other forms of immorality? What about Donald Trump and Jennifer Lawrence? Does God control the weather? What does God want people to do? The death’s from Typhoon Ragasa are a sober reminder that life is fleeting. Consider also the words of Jesus:

1 There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:1-5)

Your situation can change. You can perish. Do not put off full repentance as YOU may not have as much time to become a true Philadelphian Christian as you might think.

We know that Jesus prophesied earthquakes in various places (Mark 13:8)–and we are seeing them.

Things can, do, and will change.

4. Weather Sorrows and Troubles

Of course, when thinking about prophecies, many people are concerned about prophecies such as those related to world events, the beginning of sorrows, the four horsemen of the apocalypse, the great tribulation, the rise of the Beast/Antichrist/666, Armageddon, etc.

Jesus said:

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:4-8)

5 And Jesus, answering them, began to say: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 6 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many. 7 But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. 8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. (Mark 13:5-8)

Rough weather issues (watch Hurricanes and Prophecy), fires (watch Fires and the Wrath of God), strong earthquakes, and civil disturbances would seem to fall under troubles and sorrows. …

Expect more extreme weather in 2025.

The Bible teaches:

2 Better to go to the house of mourning
Than to go to the house of feasting,
For that is the end of all men;
And the living will take it to heart. (Ecclesiastes 7:2)

Do you take the damage to heart?

After listing a variety of weather and other curses, God had Amos write:

12 “Therefore thus will I do to you, O Israel;
Because I will do this to you,
Prepare to meet your God, O Israel!” (Amos 4:12)

Severe weather actually should to be a motivator for us to change and be ready to face our Creator!

Of course, people say, “The weather always changes.” And while it does, there are two points to consider about that.

The first is that changes in the weather show us is that our environment and circumstances can quickly change. As Christians, we need to:

34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)

And that is a warning to get our spiritual life in order.

The second is to consider that the severity of storms and their devastation has been increasing. Troubles are part of the beginning of sorrows (Mark 13:8; Matthew 24:4-8), and remember that the great tribulation (Matthew 24:21) comes in the same generation as does the beginning of sorrows (Matthew 24:34).

Furthermore, the Bible shows how to resolve climate change:

3 ‘If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, 4 then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. 5 Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing; you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. 6 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land. (Leviticus 26:3-6)

Yes, there is a biblical solution to climate change, but COP27 and the associated religious ceremony have overlooked that–watch also: COP 27 and Solving Climate Change.

5. Earthquakes and Volcanoes

Jesus taught:

7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. (Matthew 24:7).

Earthquakes could trigger supervolcanoes (see Massive spike in Yellowstone earthquakes: Does Yellowstone pose a major risk? and watch Are supervolcanoes a real threat?) and cause other troubles (Mark 13:8).

Then there are also smaller volcanoes, such as Mt. Rainer, which are believed to have massive potential for disasters themselves.

Many moderns, ‘experts’ and otherwise, do not think such disasters could happen–at least not in their lifetimes.

But they are wrong. Notice what the Apostle Peter was inspired to write:

1 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), 2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation — as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

17 You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. (2 Peter 3:1-18).

Things will not remain as they have. Yellowstone could erupt–BIG TIME! …

Ultimately, a massive earthquake will hit:

18 And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. 19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. 20 Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. (Revelation 16:18-20)

Notice that the above earthquake is so big that the cities of the nations will fall. Mountains will be leveled and islands “fled away” (more on this can be found in the article Islands and Bible Prophecy). This seems to be the biggest earthquake that will ever hit the planet with humans on it. Despite the view of ‘preterists’ that this already happened (see The Dangerous Rise of Preterists), that is nonsense.

The earthquake of Revelation 16 will be bigger than what the usual “experts” have believed was possible. It will change the planet and humble parts of humanity.

It should be noted since that apparently biggest of all earthquakes seems to take place near the end of the Day of the Lord, it cannot happen prior to 2027 (for more on why as well as dates, please see the articles When Can the Great Tribulation Begin? and Could God Have a 6,000 Year Plan? What Year Could the 6,000 Years End?).

While that one will not occur in 2025, other significant ones are in the future.

Expect serious earthquakes in different places, in 2025.

That said, consider that the beginning of sorrows Jesus told of is BEFORE the start of the Great Tribulation.

Earthquakes and Super Volcanos

Is a black swan just another pretty bird? Well, yes, but a black swan event has a totally different meaning. A black swan event is described by Britannica.com as: “A black swan event is an unexpected and highly impactful event. It is characterized by its extreme rarity, severe consequences, and the tendency for people to rationalize it only in hindsight.” Would a massive earthquake or the eruption of a super volcano qualify as a black swan event? The answer is yes. One black swan event that poses a risk right now are the massive super volcanos long overdue to erupt and another black swan event is the tectonic plates that are generating incredible pressure as they grind against each other and will result in massive earthquakes. The United States has both the massive Yellowstone super volcano and the San Andreas Fault as well as the Ring of Fire. Could a black swan event jeopardize the very existence of the United States? Is it possible one or more events could set the United States up for an invasion from the King of the North? Does the Bible foretell of an earthquake so large and powerful that mountains are leveled and the islands fled away? Today is the Feast of Trumpets. In the Book of Revelation, seven trumpets are blown.

While that is still for the future (at least six years away), related to a trumpet warning for now, notice how the COGwriter article What is the Ezekiel Warning? begins:

The Ezekiel warning is essentially a message warning the end time descendants of Israel (including the descendants of Joseph’s sons Ephraim and Manasseh; cf. Genesis 48:3,11,16) of what will befall them in the last days if they fail to repent.

While there are warnings throughout that prophetic book, at least since the 20th century, chapters 3, 5, and 6 have been the emphasis of the Ezekiel warning.

The prophet Ezekiel had various warnings. Let’s start off with chapter 3 which includes a prophet being a watchman:

17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: 18 When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. 20 Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. (Ezekiel 3:17-20)

Warning the Israelite descendants of their sins and fate if they fail to properly repent is a major part of the warning–that is also consistent with other parts of the Bible such as the following:

4 … Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it. (Ezekiel 9:4)

1 Cry aloud, spare not;
Lift up your voice like a trumpet;
Tell My people their transgression,
And the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)

Related to this, the old Plain Truth magazine published the following:

In this day, God has made the MASS media available to accomplish His work. But reaching a mass audience with the good news of God’s soon-coming Government requires the freedom to PUBLISH. Notice Mark 13:10: “And the gospel must first be published among all nations.”

Further, God lays a special duty on his messenger and Church to publicly disseminate certain warnings to certain nations. Ezekiel 33:1-7 describes God’s charge upon the watchman. When the watchman sees “the sword” come upon the land — a prophetic symbol of military devastation — he must “blow the trumpet” or God will hold him personally responsible. (Calkins J. Notice part of Ezekiel 5:

1 “And you, son of man, take a sharp sword, take it as a barber’s razor, and pass it over your head and your beard; then take scales to weigh and divide the hair. 2 You shall burn with fire one-third in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are finished; then you shall take one-third and strike around it with the sword, and one-third you shall scatter in the wind: I will draw out a sword after them. 3 You shall also take a small number of them and bind them in the edge of your garment. 4 Then take some of them again and throw them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire. From there a fire will go out into all the house of Israel. (Ezekiel 5:1-4)

The first three and one half verses are pointing to the descendants of Joseph (the USA and British descended peoples), whereas the last half of verse 4 is a reference to the rest of descendants of the sons of Israel (see also Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel).

Notice now, part of Ezekiel 6:

1 Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 2 “Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them, 3 and say, ‘O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God to the mountains, to the hills, to the ravines, and to the valleys: “Indeed I, even I, will bring a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places. 4 Then your altars shall be desolate, your incense altars shall be broken, and I will cast down your slain men before your idols. 5 And I will lay the corpses of the children of Israel before their idols, and I will scatter your bones all around your altars. 6 In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate, so that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, your idols may be broken and made to cease, your incense altars may be cut down, and your works may be abolished. 7 The slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am the Lord.

8 “Yet I will leave a remnant, so that you may have some who escape the sword among the nations, when you are scattered through the countries. 9 Then those of you who escape will remember Me among the nations where they are carried captive, because I was crushed by their adulterous heart which has departed from Me, and by their eyes which play the harlot after their idols; they will loathe themselves for the evils which they committed in all their abominations. 10 And they shall know that I am the Lord; I have not said in vain that I would bring this calamity upon them.” (Ezekiel 6:1-10)

Destruction is coming (cf. Jeremiah 30:7; Daniel 8:24-25; 11:39). Slavery will hit, but it will not last (see Will the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic Nations be Divided and Have People Taken as Slaves?).

In 1980, the late Herbert W. Armstrong wrote the following related to the Ezekiel warning:

There is duality here. First, God sets a modern “Ezekiel” as a watchman. Then the PEOPLE set him as their watchman.

UNDERSTAND THIS! In Ezekiel’s day he was a P.O.W.—a prisoner of war, taken from his own country into Babylon. The people of Judah never set him as their watchman. But Christ’s Apostle for our day has been set—first by Christ, then by the people of God—as their watchman. That is, one to watch events as they fulfill prophecy, to perceive and warn the people of the 20th-century house of Israel when such military invasion is reasonably imminent. He would have to be one with facilities available for warning the whole nations of America and the British peoples.

WHO ELSE, in our time, knows who are the modern Lost Ten Tribes—the HOUSE OF ISRAEL? No other church or leader has this knowledge.

Now what is the very crux of Ezekiel’s WARNING? It is found in chapters 5 and 6. God says to 20th-century British and Americans (5:8-9), “Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold I, even I, am against thee and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations!” (Emphasis mine.) Compare with Matthew 24:21; Daniel 12:1-2; Jeremiah 30:3-7.) There can be only one time of trouble more severe than any before or since. These four prophecies all speak of THE GREAT TRIBULATION. Jeremiah shows it will be primarily that of the British and Americans. Ezekiel shows, as quoted below, the nature and extent of that trouble.

Ezekiel’s prophecy continues, “Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity. A THIRD PART OF THEE SHALL DIE WITH THE PESTILENCE and with famine will they be consumed in the midst of thee: AND A THIRD PART SHALL FALL BY THE SWORD [nuclear destruction of our cities—see later, from chapter 6] … and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them. Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my FURY to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and THEY SHALL KNOW THAT I THE LORD HAVE SPOKEN IT IN MY ZEAL, WHEN I HAVE ACCOMPLISHED MY FURY IN THEM” (Ezekiel 5:11-13, emphasis mine).

This is to be the most terrible fate ever to happen to any people! God is going to send it upon peoples who, more than any others, have KNOWN HIS WILL—and have ignored it and rebelled against Him!

God has blessed us as no other nations! Not only has He blessed us with material wealth and national greatness unmatched, but He has blessed us with His TRUTH which our nations have spurned. We have made atheistic evolution the very foundation of our educational system, in which we have reared our children. Hundreds upon hundreds of our churches have idols that are adored. We Americans took our land away from the Indians and treated them unfairly. Our sins are monumental!

In chapter 6:6-8, a continuation of the above, “In all your dwelling places [different countries to which they shall have emigrated by the 20th century] THE CITIES SHALL BE LAID WASTE … and the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and YE SHALL KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD. Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations when ye shall be scattered through the countries.”

The phrase “YE SHALL KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD” is frequently used by Ezekiel, designating Christ’s Second Coming in GLORY and POWER! This great calamity foretold by Ezekiel actually shall begin in the “GREAT TRIBULATION” but will continue through the “DAY OF THE LORD”—the time of God’s “FURY” mentioned earlier, and until Christ’s coming in SUPREME POWER to RULE!

Ezekiel definitely pin-points this prophecy to “the HOUSE OF ISRAEL”—which is 20th-century United States and the British nations—later in this 6th chapter:

 “And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them. Thus saith the Lord God, smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! For they SHALL FALL BY THE SWORD, BY THE FAMINE, AND BY THE PESTILENCE … thus will I accomplish my FURY upon them. Then shall ye know that I am the LORD! …” (verses 10-13).

Again I repeat, “they shall know that I am the LORD” is a phrase Ezekiel uses continually to designate the Second Coming of Christ, when they will KNOW that He is LORD! Also this removes all doubt that this prophecy pertains to the Lost Ten Tribes of THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL who, today are the United States and British nations! (Armstrong HW. The Ezekiel warnings are now being at least partially fulfilled now by numerous warnings at COGwriter.com, CCOG websites, select sermons, literature, radio appearances, and Bible News Prophecy channel videos. There are an average of at least three posts per day at COGwriter.com, and most of those are consistent with fulfilling the watchman role.

Are the USA and its British-descended allies basically an empire that is declining?

Mike Duncan knows how empires fall. He’s covered histories most defining collapses, upheavals, and regime changes through the Revolutions and History of Rome podcasts — the latter being a 179 episode, 73 hour long behemoth exploring the trajectory of the Roman Republic and Empire from conception to collapse. He knows what it looks like when things go wrong.

In 2025, it’s clear to Duncan that the American empire, which has dominated global geopolitics for the last century, has passed its zenith. …

“Everybody has a shelf life,” Duncan tells Rolling Stone. “Everybody has a lifespan, and eventually you do get into some sort of decline phase. The United States is still enormously powerful, we’re not on the verge of disappearing from the great power equations of the Earth, but is this thing pushing itself towards some sort of terminal failure? Yeah, sure feels like it.”

So how does the slow unraveling of the American experiment compare to the great declines and revolutionary periods of global history? No one is better positioned to read the room than Duncan.

Let’s start with Rome. … The fall of the Republic feels more like what we’re dealing with right now. It really has to do with the Roman Republic, emerging, for the first time, as the dominant power in the Mediterranean. And that kicks off like the cycle of economic inequality starts to grow between the very richest Romans and the poorest Romans, and that leads to all kinds of social conflict. …

Do you think the U.S. remains the preeminent global empire or are we declining? …

Yeah, the high water mark of America’s influence over the world has come and gone. All empires are transitory, right? If you rise, you’re inevitably going to stagnate and fall. So predicting that the United States would not be as powerful in the 21st Century as they were in the 20th Century was actually a pretty easy thing to say, because the odds were that it would be true. …

Is the U.S. past the point of no return? 

I don’t know. I will tell you I am congenitally an optimist. I have a Pascal’s Wager thing going with hope and optimism, that it’s probably better to act as if hope can possibly exist than to just say there is none and we’re doomed. Yes, the USA will fall like ancient civilizations.

And without national repentance, which is not expected, it is doomed (Hosea 11:1a, 3a, 4b, 5b-7; see also Christian Repentance).

Notice some additional similarities to ancient Rome:

Are we ‘Rome’? The question has weighed heavily on the minds of American conservatives, libertarians and Catholics at their various conferences. Is America headed the way of the Roman empire? Bureaucratic decay, massive public debt, an overstretched military, a political system seemingly incapable of responding to challenges – “the late Roman empire suffered these maladies, and so, some fear, does contemporary America”, notes The American Conservative, a journal which has been pursuing this ‘line’ diligently, and with a growing constituency, over a number of years. (Note that this is not the constituency of Vice-President Pence who represents an Evangelical, fundamentalist, literal insistence on imminent Redemption, with its ‘Rapture’ politics).

The American Conservative rather warns:

“If libertarians on the Right worry about structural collapse – cultural and religious conservatives add a moral and spiritual dimension to the debate. Rising hedonism, waning religious observance, ongoing break-up of the family, and a general loss of cultural coherence — to traditionalists, these are signs of a possible Dark Age ahead”.

… “For MacIntyre”, Rod Dreher, the author of The Benedict Option writes: “we too are living through a Fall of Rome-like catastrophe, one that is concealed by our liberty and prosperit”. Dreher continues, “In his influential 1981 book, After Virtue, MacIntyre argued that the Enlightenment project cut Western man off from his roots in tradition, but failed to produce a binding morality based on Reason alone. Plus, the Enlightenment extolled the autonomous individual. Consequently, we live in a culture of moral chaos and fragmentation in which many questions are simply impossible to settle. MacIntyre says that our contemporary world is a dark wood, and that finding our way back to the straight path will require establishing new forms of community”.

“The “Benedict Option” thus refers to [those] in contemporary America who cease to identify the continuation of civility and moral community with the maintenance of American Empire, and who therefore are keen to construct local forms of community as loci of Christian resistance against what the Empire represents. Put less grandly, the Benedict Option — or ‘Ben Op’ — is an umbrella term for Christians [and American conservatives], who accept MacIntyre’s critique of modernity”. …

What is so interesting to an outsider, is how the Ben Op’s author, Dreher, situates it within the US political context:

“Many of us on the Right who have been dismayed by the Trumpening (sic), and have been hard hit by the Kavanaugh debacle, have concluded that [nonetheless], we have no choice but to vote Republican this November – if only out of self-defense. (He refers to November 2018)

“But let me quote two passages from The Benedict Option:

“The cultural Left—which is to say, the American mainstream— has no intention of living in post-war peace. It is pressing forward with a harsh, relentless occupation, one that is aided by the cluelessness of Christians [i.e. those mirroring liberalism], who don’t understand what’s happening. Don’t be fooled: the upset presidential victory of Donald Trump has at best given us a bit more time to prepare for the inevitable (emphasis added).

[Those] who believe that politics alone will be sufficient – are not going to be prepared for what’s going to come when the Republicans lose the White House and/or Congress, which is inevitable. Our politics have become so sulfurous that there will be a vicious backlash, and that backlash will fall primarily on social and religious conservatives. When the Democrats regain power, conservative Christians are going to be in very bad shape”.

The Ben Op, in other words, is another important window into what Professor Mike Vlahos has described as the gathering, next chapter to America’s unresolved ‘civil war’: “America today fissuring into two visions of the nation’s future way of life: “Red” virtue imagines a continuity of family and community within a publicly affirmed national community. “Blue” virtue imagines personally chosen communities mediated through the individual’s relationship with the state. So, even though these two divided visions of America have been opposed for decades, and so far have controlled the urge to violence, there is in their bitter contest [of today] a sense of gathering movement toward an ultimate decision”.

“Today, two righteous paths are gridlocked in opposition … Red and Blue already represent an irreparable religious schism, deeper in doctrinal terms even than the 16th-century Catholic-Protestant schism. The war here, is over which faction successfully captures the (social media) flag, as true inheritor of American virtue. Both perceive themselves as champions of national renewal, of cleansing corrupted ideals, and of truly fulfilling America’s promise. The US is a house divided and will fall, even worse than ancient Rome did. The UK has Brexit and other troubles. Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are having issues as well.

Additionally, the USA has been taking steps to turn friends into enemies. With tariffs, sanctions, military pressures, and other policies, the USA is pushing nations away from itself and towards others. This will strengthen them.

Now, that is a bit different than what happened to Rome, but there are some parallels.

With Rome, it started paying ‘barbarians’ to run parts of its military as well as to pay them to be allies. This increased the wealth of the barbarians as well as encouraged them to further arm–and the USA has been pushing the Europeans to further arm.

In time, Rome had less wealth to pay. Finally, the ‘barbarians’ saw that Rome was weak enough to attack. Rome did not expect former allies to attack like they did.

The Bible warns that the one that was great among the nations, will be betrayed by “friends”:

1 How lonely sits the city
That was full of people!
How like a widow is she,
Who was great among the nations!
The princess among the provinces
Has become a slave!

2 She weeps bitterly in the night,
Her tears are on her cheeks;
Among all her lovers
She has none to comfort her.
All her friends have dealt treacherously with her;
They have become her enemies. …

5 Her adversaries have become the master,
Her enemies prosper;
For the Lord has afflicted her
Because of the multitude of her transgressions.
Her children have gone into captivity before the enemy.

6 And from the daughter of Zion
All her splendor has departed.
Her princes have become like deer
That find no pasture,
That flee without strength
Before the pursuer.  (Lamentations 1:1-2,5-6)

The USA has been considered as great among the nations, but it will be betrayed by “friends.”

The USA’s European “friends” are arming as well as working to take other steps to prosper.

Understand that the Europeans are taking steps to increase their wealth and not need to be as dependent upon the USA.

Consider that right now, the USA has pushed many nations together against it. For example, notice something that happened today:

EU, Indonesia agree on free trade deal

The European Union (EU) and Indonesia on Tuesday reached an agreement on a free trade pact after more than nine years of negotiations. This process was expedited by US President Donald Trump’s sweeping tariff policy.

EU Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic and Indonesian Economic Affairs Minister Airlangga Hartarto signed the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and an Investment Protection Agreement in Bali.

The deal will scrap most tariffs on EU exports including car parts, agriculture and pharmaceuticals, while opening investment in sectors such as electric vehicles.

“I am convinced that today’s conclusion of negotiations is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter,” Sefcovic said.

Airlangga called the agreement “a milestone,” which would “mitigate risks from the impact of the global tariff war.”

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the pact would boost jobs and growth while securing critical raw materials for Europe’s clean tech industries.

Indonesia is the world’s fourth most populous nation. It now has a major deal with the EU. India, the world’s most populous nation is close to a deal with the EU.

The USA has intentionally pushed against Europe. And an unintended consequence of USA policies is that this is causing the Europeans to take steps to increase its trade influence, which it is prophesied to do.

The major use of sanctions, mainly pushed by the USA, has been continuing.

This is affecting trade and pushing trade away from the USA. …

And Europe?

Well, Donald Trump’s reelection is a major concern for Europe and its trade.

In 2018, I wrote:

The Europeans have been working with Latin America, China, Russia’s Eurasian Union, and other areas of the world to try to set up its dominance of world trade as well as standards for world trade. (19 items to prophetically watch in 2019)

Such deals have been happening. But expect more concrete action, at least partially because of the reelection of Donald Trump, along with J.D. Vance.

Europe will reach out to various ones in Asia and Africa, as well as Latin America. In the next several years, deals and more trade will occur with Africa, Asia, and Latin America. …

The Europeans will work with many nations to secure stronger trade agreements. …

The Bible shows that Europe will, for a time, dominate trade (cf. Revelation 17 and 18).

• Pushing tariffs and sanctions on other countries is contributing to the rise of the final time of the Gentiles (Luke 21:24; Ezekiel 7:24).
• Pushing tariffs and other policies that foreign nations do not like is contributing to other nations looking to bypass the USA dollar, as well as trade more with each other and less with the USA. This will further push various globalist’s moves forward without the USA. This is also helping set the stage for the coming European Babylonian Beast to dominate international trade. …

we are proclaiming the Ezekiel warning (see What is the Ezekiel Warning?).

Yes, the Europeans are working to make such trade deals. And related to Asia, it announced the deal with Indonesia today.

That said, the European power that will arise to defeat the USA and its British-descended allies (cf. Daniel 11:39) will, itself, be defeated and collapse as well (cf. Daniel 11:45).

The Bible shows that after the seven trumpets of Revelation are blown, Jesus will return with the last trumpet blast.

And when He does, this world and its systems will be replaced by the millennial Kingdom of God.

Trumpets and Jesus’ Return

The Hebrew scriptures tell of a “holy convocation” that is a memorial for the blowing of trumpets (Leviticus 23:24). Which kind of trumpets were blown? Does the New Testament prophesy many events associated with the blowing of trumpets? When are these trumpets blown? Are there six seals in the Book of Revelation, including those associated with the ‘Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse’ that are opened first? What happens after each of the seven trumpets of the Book of Revelation are blown? When can Jesus return, according to His own words in Matthew 24:29-31? Were Tim LaHaye, Hal Lindsey, and now David Jeremiah correct that the rapture is the next prophetic event that occurs? Must Jesus return before or after the Great Tribulation? The Apostle Paul said Christians would be changed at the LAST TRUMPET–so is that scripturally impossible to be BEFORE the tribulation?
