Piggy sooy is moving forward after getting USDA approval

More and more, food is getting distorted and perverted. Here is an update on one the perversions in the USA food supply:

Moolec Gets First US Approval for Animal Proteins in Plants

April 24, 2024

Moolec Science’s genetically engineered soybean with pork proteins known as Piggy Sooy has received the response to their request for regulatory status review from USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service. APHIS concluded that Piggy Sooy is unlikely to pose an increased plant pest risk compared to the conventional soybeans. Thus, it is not subject to the APHIS regulation governing movement of genetic engineered organisms or products.

In June 2023, Moolec Science announced that their genetically modified soybeans contain up to 26.6% pork protein, a significant increase from earlier projections. … Moolec Science is currently working with the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to gain approval for their product. https://www.isaaa.org/kc/cropbiotechupdate/article/default.asp?ID=20782

Moolec has received approval from the USDA for its ‘plant-grown’ meat proteins, with the government body stating that its genetically engineered soybeans are unlikely to pose an increased risk of pests compared to non-modified soybeans.

In its regulatory review, the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) didn’t find “any plausible pathway” by which Moolec’s Piggy Sooy brings a higher pest risk. This means it isn’t subject to the APHIS regulation that governs the movement of genetically modified organisms. …

“We believe this milestone sets the stage for a revolution in the food-industrial biotech landscape, paving the way for expedited adoption of molecular farming technology by other industry players,” said co-founder and CTO Martin Salinas. …

Molecular farming has been dubbed the ‘fourth pillar’ of alternative protein by industry think tank the Good Food Institute, and has been recognised as a more affordable and easily scalable option than cell cultivation or precision fermentation. …

APHIS approval means its pork soybeans don’t pose an increased risk of pests, authorisation from other agencies – chiefly the Food and Drug Administration – will be key for commercialisation. Moolec is already in the consultation process with the food safety body, and while Paladini declined to comment on a timeline, he confirmed that “everything is on track”. https://www.greenqueen.com.hk/moolec-piggy-sooy-usda-approval-pork-soybeans-molecular-farming/

First of all, animal proteins should never be bio-engineered into plants.

Ignorant scientists claimed that feeding cows, which are vegetarian, ground up dead (and sometime sick) cows and sheep in their feed would help the food supply by fattening the cows up faster. That resulted in what is commonly called ‘Mad Cow Disease.’

Biologists realize that plant and animal cells are quite different. Different enough that scientists should realize that they should not combine them together.

Second of all, despite the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) claim that it didn’t find “any plausible pathway” by which Piggy Sooy brings a higher pest risk, that presumes that agency knows enough to make that claim. It does not.

Back in the Summer of 2018, I warned about risks associated with the release of genetically-modified mosquitoes. A year later, I was proven to be right (see Scientists confirm COGwriter GMO mosquito warning). The pro-genetic mosquito scientists admitted that they ended up with an “unanticipated outcome.” The same could be true about Piggy Sooy and pests.

Thirdly, presuming that the US FDA approves this monstrosity, there is no way it can be tested enough to prove that it cannot cause any health or other issues. That is a statistical and scientific fact.

And fourthly, pigs, of course, are biblically unclean.

I found the company name Moolech of peculiar interest. It sounds a lot like Molech from the Bible. Which got me to ask Bing-Copilot where the name Moolech came from. It responded with:

The name “Moolech” appears to be a variation of the ancient term “Moloch.”

According to Britannica:

Moloch, a Canaanite deity associated in biblical sources with the practice of child sacrifice. The name derives from combining the consonants of the Hebrew melech (“king”) with the vowels of boshet (“shame”), the latter often being used in the Old Testament as a variant name for the popular god Baal (“Lord”). https://www.britannica.com/topic/Moloch-ancient-god

Molech related matters are condemned in the Bible. So, that is an interesting coincidence.

Anyway, related to Piggy Sooy, last year Dr. Mercola posted the following:

Pig Beans – The Latest GMO Frankenfood

July 13, 2023

One of the latest GMO Frankenfoods is Piggy Sooy, a soybean genetically engineered to contain pig protein. One or more undisclosed pig genes are spliced into conventional soya to create a soybean with 26.6% animal protein. Moolec, the U.K.-based company that developed Piggy Sooy, is also working on developing a pea plant that produces beef protein. The company claims these transgenic hybrids will provide similar taste, texture and nutritional value as meat, without the high cost of cultured or lab-grown meat alternatives. June 21, 2023, the U.S. Department of Agriculture authorized the sale of cell-cultivated chicken from Good Meat and Upside Foods. Both plan on rolling out their synthetic chicken to “high-end” restaurants across the U.S. first, while they scale up production. Researchers have discovered that CRISPR-Cas gene editing wreaks havoc in the plant genome, causing several hundred unintended genetic changes to occur simultaneously “in a catastrophic event” that ripples across large parts of the genome. Because these changes are impossible to predict, gene edited plants cannot be assumed safe without extensive testinghttps://twitter.com/mercola/status/1679510163592445956?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1679510163592445956%7Ctwgr%5E12fda83f71188bcef460b07eeb04863cfa399702%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fpublish.twitter.com%2F%3Fquery%3Dhttps3A2F2Ftwitter.com2Fmercola2Fstatus2F1679510163592445956widget%3DTweet

Apparently, GMO soy was not enough, so having pig protein in it is the next perverted step.

Pigs are not to be eaten according to the Bible:

7 and the swine, though it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. 8 Their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch. They are unclean to you. (Leviticus 11:7-8)

8 Also the swine is unclean for you, because it has cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud; you shall not eat their flesh or touch their dead carcasses. (Deuteronomy 14:8)

So, putting pig proteins into plants would seem to be a great abomination.

Why is it really being done?

Although some believe that this is part of a plan to control the food supply, remember that the Bible warns:

10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, (1 Timothy 6:10)

Hence, we now see Piggy Sooy. Piggy Sooy is evil and should never be in the food supply.

Humanity’s genetic altering of the food supply looks to be setting the world up for the ride of the fourth horseman of the Apocalypse:

7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:7-8)

That said, there are also various unknown health risks with the Frankenfoods that are being introduced into the food supply.

The Bible teaches:

2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good (Isaiah 55:2).

Eat what is good. GMOs laced with unclean pig protein certainly is not something that is biblically good.

The Continuing Church of God put out the following sermon on its ContinuingCOG channel which warns against things, including Piggy Sooy:

1:07:48

Evil is Affecting the Food Supply

God gave humans food and said what He made was good. What about unclean animals? What about genetically-modified organisms (GMOs)? What about ‘bioengineered foods’? What about lab meat? What about human-cloned salami? What about ‘Piggy Sooy’? Are Christians supposed to eat what is good according to Isaiah 55:2? What should we eat? What should Christians avoid eating? Dr. Thiel addresses these matters and more.

Here is a link to the following: Evil is Affecting the Food Supply.

For information more related to what one should eat, the Continuing Church of God put out the following sermon on its ContinuingCOG channel related to food:

1:11:59

The Bible says to eat what is good. Does the Bible give any information on what to eat and not eat? What happened in the Garden of Eden? What about Noah? What are clean and unclean animals? Did early Christians avoid biblically-unclean animals? What are some of the health risks associated with eating pork, shellfish, and bats? Are pigs associated with the flu? Could bats have been involved related to the corona virus pandemic? Should humans consume blood? What are enzymes? Can raw foods aid in health? Is the typical US diet deadly? What about processed foods? Is eating refined sugar necessary? How were vitamins discovered? What about United States Pharmacopeia (USP) vs. food vitamins? Are most mineral supplements composed of processed rocks? What about genetically-modified organisms (GMOs)? What about sodas and other beverages? Dr. Thiel addresses these matters and more.
