‘Immediate agreement within reach’, says Iranian adviser
Ali Shamkhani, a prominent adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, has suggested that an agreement can be reached if the negotiations focused solely on Iran’s commitment not to develop nuclear weapons.
“If the main issue of the negotiations is preventing Iran from producing nuclear weapons, this would be in line with the supreme leader’s fatwa (religious edict) and Iran’s defence doctrine, and an immediate agreement is within reach,” he posted on X.

A real and “immediate” agreement would reduce the odds of a direct military conflict coming soon between Iran and the USA.

More dramatically, a blood moon, which is a full lunar eclipse casting the moon in deep red, will be visible across Asia, Australia, the Pacific Islands, and the Americas on Purim itself, the 14th of Adar (March 3). “This is Hashem preparing to carry out judgment on the nations,” Rabbi Kessin says.
Additionally, six planets — Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Saturn, Uranus, and Jupiter — are aligning in the evening sky in a rare celestial parade. While small groupings of three to five planets occur every few months to years, a parade of six or seven planets is highly unusual, according to NASA.
Notably, Mars, known in Jewish tradition as Ma’adim, from the Hebrew adom (red), associated in the Talmud (Shabbat 156a) with energy, judgment, and intensity, recently fell out of alignment with the other planets. Mars is the planet of Esav in kabbalistic tradition. Its absence from the alignment carries its own symbolic weight.
“Mars, the red planet, is the planet of Esav,” Rabbi Kessin explains. “This is to show that Esav is no longer in alignment with the imminent Moshiach ben David.”
Jewish tradition holds that Ein mazal l’Yisrael: Israel transcends astrological influence through Torah and mitzvot. The energy of Mars, however intense, is not a barrier to the Messianic era. Three things.
First, Israel365 News put out speculation that the USA may attack Iran at the start of the national Jewish holiday called Purim earlier this week (see Donald Trump made a ‘Purim’ threat to Iran?)–which would mean next week.
Second, while the Bible tells of signs in the heavens, the next blood moon and planetary alignments are not that.
Third, therefore, no, the Messianic era is not about to start.
What about blood moons?
Here is one explanation of what a blood moon is:
A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes in the shadow of Earth. This is an area known as the umbra, where light from the Sun is blocked by our planet.

So, a blood moon is basically a reddish appearing shadow on the moon.
A blood moon is a natural phenomena.
Interestingly, there will be one of prophetic importance prior to the return of Jesus, the Messiah.
Yet, that is not related to this next blood moon.
We need to rely on biblical passages, not Jewish tradition, when it comes to such matters.
The Bible teaches the following:
2 … Do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven,
For the Gentiles are dismayed at them. (Jeremiah 10:2)
As Jeremiah 10:2 states, we are not to be dismayed by things in the sky. And that includes the next blood moon.
Over a decade ago, I denounced the view that the ‘blood moons’ of 2014 and 2015 could mean that Jesus would return then or that the ‘Day of the Lord’ was about to start. This was something that Mark Biltz (who practices Messianic Judaism) started promoting back in 2008–but he was wrong then and is not a reliable “Biblical expert” when it comes to many things, including the ramifications of blood moons. I also denounced the super blood moon prophetic nonsense in 2018 and in 2019 denounced the super blood moon prophetic nonsense for 2019, plus another claim in 2022.

Repeatedly, those who pointed to prophetic significance of the blood moons, which have happened over the past decade or so, were wrong.
On the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2, the Apostle Peter included the following statements while speaking:
19 I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. (Acts 2:19-20)
So, Peter did refer to some type of a blood moon.
However, consider that the “day of the Lord” does not begin until after the tribulation has ended according to Jesus, who said:
29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Matthew 24:29-30)
In the Book of Revelation we read:
12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. 13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. 14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. (Revelation 6:12-14)
While there are prophecies related to the moon looking like blood and events in the heavens, the next one is simply not the prophesied one.
The opening of the 5th seal in Revelation is connected with the start of the great tribulation, but notice that the moon is not to appear to turn to blood until the opening of the 6th seal, which comes about 2 1/2 years later.
No one should place their prophetic beliefs on blood moons that come before the tribulation–the Bible speaks of those that come later, but the issues with them cannot happen for several years from now.
That said, we are in a time of wars and rumors of war (Matthew 24:6) and what is happening with Iran is something to watch (cf. Mark 13:37).
