Mahmoud Al-Habbash: Muslims cannot give up any part of Jerusalem

World Net Daily reported the following:
In the aftermath of the United States’ recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the decision by other countries to do the same, a Muslim cleric is warning that no Muslim has the right to give up any land to any “enemy.”
According to Palestinian Media Watch, the threat came from the grand mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories, Sheik Muhammad Hussein, in the official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida.
“Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque are an Islamic waqf until Judgment Day; they cannot be sold, given away, or bequeathed, and no one has the right to relinquish them,”
PMW noted the statement aligns closely with the charter of the Hamas terror organization, which states: “The land of Palestine in an Islamic waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgment Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up.”
The mufti’s statement went further: “Granting ownership over Islamic territory or part of it to enemies is invalid and constitutes treason,” and “Whoever sells his land to his enemies or takes compensation for it sins, as in doing so he aids in the removal of Muslims from their homes.” http://www.wnd.com/2018/06/muslims-instructed-jerusalem-is-islamic-until-judgment-day/#4A08Huoh2xwUJkv9.99
Palestinians and others are upset. Contrary to statements this year by Israel’s Prime Minister and the USA’s President, Jerusalem is not the permanent and indivisible capital of the State of Israel.
There will be changes coming–including war.
One day, Jerusalem will be attacked:
8 He removed the protection of Judah. You looked in that day to the armor of the House of the Forest; 9 You also saw the damage to the city of David, That it was great; And you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.(Isaiah 22:8-9)
One day, the nation of Israel will lose territory (for details, see the prophecies in the article Gaza and the Palestinians in Bible Prophecy).
Ultimately, and probably after conflict, a temporary peace deal will be put in place (cf. Daniel 9:27; see also The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:27).
But this will not end as hoped by the USA (cf. Daniel 11:39; see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses) or Israel (cf. Daniel 11:31).
Despite certain Jewish and American hopes, steps are moving in this direction.
Things will go more towards the way of the Palestinians in time.
