‘Superpower’ Europe wants an army and to ‘shake off US influence’

It wasn’t because of Trump that NATO’s European members have been kicking around the idea of a European army as a non-competing alternative to NATO. It is true that some in Europe have long wanted their own army, but the calls for it are now accelerating.

EUROPEAN UNION DEFENCE Ministers have approved a common plan which includes the use of EU battle groups and an EU planning centre for military operations.
Sinn Féin’s Matt Carthy said, “This is very clearly another step towards the creation of an EU army.”
It comes after Donald Trump’s campaign warned it would think twice about defending European Nato nations if they did not contribute more to the alliance’s budget. …
British Defence Secretary Michael Fallon is also against the plan and bluntly commented that the EU should stop “dreaming”.
“Instead of planning expensive new headquarters or dreaming of a European army, what Europe needs to do now is to spend more on its own defence, that is the best possible approach to the Trump Presidency.”

This should not come as surprise to regular reader of this page. Since 2015, I have written that Donald Trump’s rise would be a factor in Europe deciding it needs more unity and its own army. I even discussed that in a video we made in February 2016 (watch Could Donald Trump be Apocalyptic?) and then the one made the morning after Donald Trump’s election (watch 13 Ways President-Elect Trump is Apocalyptic).
Europeans, particularly German Europeans, see the election of Donald Trump as a significant turning point, especially when combined with the Brexit vote (watch also Post Brexit Prophecy and Forbes’ Brexit Monster is the Beast of Revelation).
We in the Church of God have warned for decades that a European military power would arise and one day eliminate the USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies like Canada and the United Kingdom.
Why?
Because of Bible prophecy.
Notice something that the old Radio Church of God published over 50 years ago:
The apostle John used the symbolic term “locusts” to describe the terrifying WAR MACHINES that would be invented and used by power-crazed men in this final World War! Notice that these symbolic “locusts” or grasshoppers are DRIVEN BY MEN (Verse 7) — the LEADERS OF THE FASCIST BEAST POWER (Nahum 3:17-19) — and are able to fly (Rev. 9:9). …
Where does this super-army, with its demon leadership come from? Verses 2-3. Is this symbolic “bottomless pit” referred to elsewhere so that we can identify the army which proceeds from it? Rev. 17:8. Isn’t this superarmy the ARMY OF THE BEAST — the REVITALIZED FASCIST EUROPEAN ARMY — backed by the HARLOT CHURCH OF SATAN the devil? Verses 7-13. (Lesson 36 – Feast of Trumpets. Europe is now publicly declaring it wants its own army.
Here is a specific prophecy in the Bible that shows that the final power in Europe will end up with a large army:
25 “He shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the South with a great army. (Daniel 11:25)
The “he” above is the European King of the North Beast power.
The Bible says that this Beast power will reorganize and is going to surprise the world with its military success:
12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)
3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:3-4)
The world will marvel because it did not think that the European Beast, King of the North, power could possibly beat the USA militarily.
Beat the USA militarily?
Yes.
The following prophecy is one that shows the coming defeat of the USA:
39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)
The “he” above is the European King of the North Beast power. The power with the strongest military fortresses in the 21st century is presently the USA. But it will be defeated by Europe (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses).
The time will come when the USA is no more (watch also the recent sermon: Do these 7 prophesies point to the end of the USA?).
Back in 1979, the old Worldwide Church of God published that events would lead to a European superpower:
The future United States of Europe is destined to become the major trading block on earth, and, in context, it is clear that those who refuse to become tributary to her economic and religious system will be reduced to poverty, unable to buy and sell. Thus, her present economic strength can be expected to continue.
New cooperative spirit
A second factor leading to the creation of a European superpower is the fast-developing new feeling of oneness, solidarity and pan-European unity, based on these new economic gains Europeans now wish to maintain. This new willingness by Europeans to cooperate (to some degree) and to work together for the common good flies in the face of their basic tendencies (usually nationalistic and hostile to most concepts of union) over the past several hundred years. This new spirit of cooperation has materialism as a bottom line, With time, prophecy tells us that economic union will give rise to spiritual union (directed by a mother church) and then will come final complete political and military union. As reported by German-Foreign-Policy.com some in Europe think it is already a superpower. But also a superpower that needs a stronger, independent, military.
Europe wants to shake off the USA and be recognized as a superpower. Europe will rise up militarily.
This will have terrible consequences for the USA (Daniel 11:39) and also Europe itself (Daniel 11:44-45; Revelation 17:14).
