Flooding in Florida, Fires in Colorado, MidWest Heat, & Possible Tornadoes to Georgia
A “state of emergency” has been declared in Florida, while fires are raging in Colorado:
27 June 2012(Reuters) – Tropical Storm Debby weakened to a tropical depression after it drifted ashore on Florida’s Gulf Coast on Tuesday, even as it dumped more rain on flooded areas and sent thousands of people fleeing from rising rivers…Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center said Debby could bring another 4 to 8 inches of rain – and possibly tornadoes – to north Florida and southeast Georgia in the next two days.
CBS News – 27 June 2012(CBS/AP) WOODLAND PARK, Colo. – A stubborn and towering wildfire jumped firefighters’ perimeter lines in the hills overlooking Colorado Springs, forcing frantic mandatory evacuation notices for more than 9000 residents, destroying an unknown number of of homes and partially closing the grounds of the sprawling U.S. Air Force Academy…Interstate 25, which runs through Colorado Springs, was briefly closed to southbound traffic Tuesday. All told, officials said, evacuation orders affected as many as 32,000 residents.

Stockpiles were probably 3.168 billion bushels (80.47 million metric tons) on June 1, 47 percent less than on March 1, the average of 22 analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg shows.
These types of things may be parts of what Jesus referred to as “the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:8) before the great tribulation (Matthew 24:21). Even though hurricanes, fires, tornadoes, and tropical storms are somewhat normal, there have seemed to have been a lot of weather-related troubles lately (there are also droughts as well).
