MS: After Israel Sends Troops Into Gaza, Watch for Hezbollah, Iran, Syria and the U.S. to All Get Involved in the Great Middle East War

Here are reports from Voice of America and NPR about the Hamas-Israel war:

October 11, 2023

  • At least 1,200 people dead in Israel; 1,055 people dead in Gaza
  • Gaza’s power authority expects to run out of fuel for its only power plant Wednesday
  • Small group of U.S. special forces working with Israeli military to assist with planning and intelligence
  • U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is traveling to Israel

Israel struck roads and buildings in the Gaza Strip with airstrikes Wednesday as it pressed a campaign of retaliation following an attack by Hamas militants that has left at least 1,200 people dead in Israel.

Palestinian health officials said Wednesday the death toll in Gaza rose to 1,055 people, with more than 5,000 others wounded since Israel carried out its first strikes hours after the Hamas attack began on Saturday. …

In a video message early Wednesday, Israeli military spokesperson Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus defended Israeli airstrikes that have destroyed residential buildings, saying those sites are legitimate military targets because Hamas intentionally locates its operations in civilian buildings.

The United Nations says more than 263,000 people have fled their homes in the Gaza Strip since the fighting began, and that the number is expected to rise.

Conricus said 360,000 Israeli reservists were preparing to carry out the mission of making sure “Hamas at the end of this war won’t have any military capabilities by which they can threaten or kill Israeli civilians.” https://www.voanews.com/a/israel-carries-out-gaza-airstrikes-as-death-toll-on-both-sides-rises/7305853.html

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has denied Iran was involved in Hamas’ attack against Israel over the weekend. But in televised comments Tuesday, he said: “We kiss the hands of those who planned the attack on the Zionist regime.”

Western and Middle Eastern intelligence officials have accused Iran of providing training, money and other assistance to Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip, who carried out an unprecedented, multifront assault on Israel on Saturday.

The leaders of France and Germany on Tuesday signaled that officials are still looking for evidence of Tehran’s direct involvement in the Hamas attacks. But analysts interviewed by NPR say the link is undeniable. … Both Hezbollah and Israel fired across the border, leading the United Nations peacekeeping force in Lebanon to urge “everyone to exercise restraint … to de-escalate to prevent a fast deterioration of the security situation.” …

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, said that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has met with Hamas leaders.

“We know that there were meetings in Syria and in Lebanon, if I remember correctly, with the other leaders of the terror armies that surround Israel,” he said. Spokespeople for Hamas did not return requests for comment.

Raisi also held phone calls with leaders from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad after the attacks against Israel began, Iran’s state-run news agency, IRNA, said Sunday. …

Israeli intelligence analysts call the relationship among Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran “the resistance camp.” They share the goal of weakening Israel and creating a Muslim-run land from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, said Neomi Neumann, former head of research for the Israeli Security Agency. https://www.npr.org/2023/10/10/1204789074/israel-hamas-hezbollah-iran

After Israel Sends Troops Into Gaza, Watch for Hezbollah, Iran, Syria and the U.S. to All Get Involved in the Great Middle East War

October 11, 2023

“Escalation” will be a word that is used a lot in the coming days.  Once Israel sends troops into Gaza, it is going to trigger a series of events that nobody is going to be able to control.  But there is no turning back now.  When Hamas decided to rape women, behead children and kidnap the elderly, they made any other course of action impossible.  Israel must go into Gaza.  And as I write this article, we are witnessing the largest mobilization of Israelis troops that we have seen since the Yom Kippur War

Once Israeli troops enter Gaza, the Great Middle East War will have begun. …

So when Israel is systematically destroying Hamas, do you think that there is any chance that Hezbollah will just sit on the sidelines and watch it happen?

No way.

In fact, a Hamas official has stated that Hezbollah “will join the battle” if Gaza is invaded…

A senior Hamas official warned Israel on Tuesday that Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah “will join the battle if Gaza is subjected to a war of annihilation,” according to the Associated Press.

That is why the Israelis are sending so many military resources to the northern border.

They know that this will be a two front war

Israel has reportedly warned Hezbollah that Damascus will be destroyed if Hezbollah tries to send troops into Israel…

Israel gives clear warning to Hezbollah:

If Hezbollah joins the war, the IDF will completely destroy Damascus and will directly target the Iran-backed Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. Moreover, US warships will support Israel in this war. This message was delivered by Israel via France.

So that would bring Syria into the war.

And I think that it is a very ominous sign that Israel and Syria are already exchanging artillery fire

If Israel ends up fighting Hamas, Hezbollah and Syria all at the same time, do you think that Iran will be able to stay out of the war? …

For a long time, I have been warning that a great war would be coming to the Middle East.

But it has arrived a bit sooner than I thought. https://discernreport.com/after-israel-sends-troops-into-gaza-watch-for-hezbollah-iran-syria-and-the-u-s-to-all-get-involved-in-the-great-middle-east-war/

While, by the “great war” Michael Snyder means Ezekiel 38, that is not the case (see also Hamas-Israeli war, plus Greg Laurie connects to Gog and Magog).

However, as I have written for years, I expect a regional war that will involve Syria and Iran and Israel.

The Bible shows that God will allow someone, like an Iranian-Syrian confederation, to strike the nation of Israel:

1 The burden against the Valley of Vision.

What ails you now, that you have all gone up to the housetops, 2 You who are full of noise, A tumultuous city, a joyous city? Your slain men are not slain with the sword, Nor dead in battle. 3 All your rulers have fled together; They are captured by the archers. All who are found in you are bound together; They have fled from afar. 4 Therefore I said, “Look away from me, I will weep bitterly; Do not labor to comfort me Because of the plundering of the daughter of my people.”

5 For it is a day of trouble and treading down and perplexity By the Lord God of hosts In the Valley of Vision — Breaking down the walls And of crying to the mountain. 6 Elam bore the quiver With chariots of men and horsemen, And Kir uncovered the shield. 7 It shall come to pass that your choicest valleys Shall be full of chariots,And the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.

8 He removed the protection of Judah. You looked in that day to the armor of the House of the Forest; 9 You also saw the damage to the city of David, That it was great; And you gathered together the waters of the lower pool. 10 You numbered the houses of Jerusalem, And the houses you broke down To fortify the wall. 11 You also made a reservoir between the two walls For the water of the old pool. But you did not look to its Maker, Nor did you have respect for Him who fashioned it long ago.

12 And in that day the Lord God of hosts Called for weeping and for mourning,For baldness and for girding with sackcloth. 13 But instead, joy and gladness, Slaying oxen and killing sheep, Eating meat and drinking wine: “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!”

14 Then it was revealed in my hearing by the Lord of hosts,”Surely for this iniquity there will be no atonement for you, Even to your death,” says the Lord God of hosts.  (Isaiah 22:1-14 NKJV)

Elam seems to be a reference to at least some in Iran. The old Worldwide Church of God published the following:

Iranians com-prise nearly 70 percent of the country. Iranians, though Is-lamic, are totally distinct from the neighboring Arab peoples of the Middle East. They are a mixed people of the remnants of Media and Elam and other ancestors of Semitic and Hamitic stock. (Stump K. South Asia in Prophecy. Plain Truth, July/August 1986, p. 5)

Kir is of interest as it has several possibilities. One is that the Bible tells that after Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria took over Damascus, he moved Syrians to Kir.  While this does not mean that Kir must (or must only) be a reference to Syria, the fact that Syria is an ally of Iran is interesting. Some believe Kir is an area in the south of Iran, while others suggest closer to the Black Sea. God’s word has the expression “the Syrians from Kir” (Amos 9:7), which is basically confirmation that Kir of Isaiah 22 would include Syrians. The Bible also tells of a time when Kir will be destroyed (Isaiah 15:1b) and also says that Syria’s capital Damascus will be destroyed:

1 The burden against Damascus.

“Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city,
And it will be a ruinous heap. (Isaiah 17:1).

Damascus has NOT been made a ruinous heap since Isaiah was inspired by God to write that prophecy. That could be fulfilled in a regional war involving Israel, but if not then, likely when the war comes between the forces of the European King of the North and the Arabic King of the South.

In Isaiah 22: 8, “Judah” is a reference to those in the land commonly called Israel–God will allow Israel to be attacked! In Isaiah 22:9, consider that “the damage to the city of David” is a reference to at least part of Jerusalem–and notice that the damage will be great.

The point I wish to make is that Isaiah 22 shows a time is coming when God will take away the protection of Judah and the City of David (Jerusalem, cf. 2 Kings 9:28).

I have long asserted that “peace deals’ normally happen after military conflicts. And that a regional war in the Middle East looks necessary before the temporary deal of Daniel 9:27 is confirmed.

We will see how the current conflict changes as it could turn into that regional war.

As far as Hamas’ ally Iran goes, before the current Hamas-Israel war, we put out the following video:

15:03

Iran and Israel Conflict

European Union foreign policy chief, Josep Borrel, has been brokering the nuclear negotiations involving Iran and said that he thinks the deal is “in danger.” Iran blames the United States, whereas the USA says they are not delaying it. Israeli sources stated that Israel will stop Iran from getting a nuclear bomb. Joe Biden says the USA would use its own military power to prevent Iran from getting such a bomb if need be. In 2021, Iranian lawmakers have submitted a bill seeking the government by law to commit to Israel’s destruction by the year 2040. Does the 22nd chapter of Isaiah point to damage coming to Israel from Iran and possibly Syria? Might Iran be concerned enough about limited progress with the USA to launch some type of attack? Is Iran the prophesied ‘King of the South’? Is it reasonable to think that the prophesied peace deal of Daniel 9:27 will not happen until after a military conflict. like a regional war? Should Christians watch the Middle East? Dr. Thiel and Steve Dupuie discuss these matters.

Much is happening.

As Jesus stated:

37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch! (Mark 13:37)
