Jared Kushner pushing for part of a peace deal that the Palestinians are not (currently) interested in

Donald Trump’s son-in-law is in the Middle East pushing economic aspects related to a ‘peace plan’ for Israel and Palestine:

June 25, 2019

MANAMA, Bahrain (AP) — An international conference to promote the Trump administration’s $50 billion economic support plan for the Palestinians is getting underway in the tiny Gulf kingdom of Bahrain.

President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner kicks off the two-day workshop with a speech to finance ministers from some Arab states and private sector executives. But the participants notably do not include official Israeli or Palestinian delegations, and many countries are not sending Cabinet-level officials.

The Palestinians have rejected the ambitious proposal because it does not address the core issues in the long-running conflict. U.S. officials say the political portion of the plan may not be released until fall. https://www.apnews.com/d4d514819cf24718a2ffc17b020ad1be

Billions of dollars aren’t going to resolve the decades-long impasse, according to Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas, who said the American plan is biased toward Israel and also neglects Palestinian political aspirations.

Focusing on economic issues “is unacceptable before the political solution is discussed,” he told top officials of his Fatah party on Sunday. …

The administration has already strongly hinted that it is willing to abandon longstanding U.S. policy supporting a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict — adding to the profound disillusionment of many Palestinians.

Ambassador Friedman added fuel to the fire when he told The New York Times earlier this month that Israel had the right to annex at least some of the West Bank. …

Under the Kushner plan, donor countries and investors would funnel in about $50 billion into the region. Around $28 billion would go to the Palestinian territories, as well as $7.5 billion to Jordan, $9 billion to Egypt and $6 billion for Lebanon.

“I laugh when they attack this as the ‘deal of the century,’” Kushner told Reuters, referring to President Donald Trump’s claim for the plan. “This is going to be the ‘opportunity of the century’ if they have the courage to pursue it.” …

On the streets of the city of Ramallah in the West Bank on Monday, protesters rejected Kushner’s 40-page plan that is set to be discussed in full with Arab leaders in Bahrain on Tuesday and Wednesday.

“We don’t need money, we need to get rid of the occupation. Palestine is not for sale,” said Khaled Mansur a 60-year-old Palestinian who was among the thousands protesting. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/kushner-faces-battle-sell-economic-plan-palestinians-peace-conference-n1021316

No, Palestinians do not want to be bought off.

Now, it is possible that there is a two-state option in the Trump Administration plan according to something I saw online a couple of days ago:

Leaked: Trump’s Peace Plan will Lead to ‘Full Palestinian Statehood’

June 23, 2019

A top- ranking Saudi diplomat told Globes on Friday that Trump’s ‘Deal of the Century’ includes a “clear path leading to complete Palestinian independence”. The anonymous Saudi official explains that although he speaks on his own behalf, he also claims that many other officials in the Saudi government agree with his sentiments. He explained that Saudi and the Crown Prince have an interest in assisting the Palestinian leadership and see it as a “responsibility”. They are trying to press the PA leadership to “seriously examine the political and economic plan”.

He went on to explain that both him and other countries are ready to invest “massive sums of money on a scale the Palestinians would never even dreamed of receiving”. https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/131969/leaked-trumps-peace-plan-will-lead-to-full-palestinian-statehood/

One problem that the Palestinian Authority has is that it does not trust the Trump Administration. The recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the moving of the US embassy to Jerusalem brought Palestinian condemnation as well as statements against trusting the US to broker a peace deal.

Irrespective of the Trump Administration’s economic and political ‘peace’ plan, the time will come when there will be a temporary ‘peace deal’ (see the article The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:27).

The Bible shows that a European leader will also be involved in confirming the coming prophesied deal of Daniel 9:26-27, which states:

26 And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate (Daniel 9:26-27).

The “prince” is a European leader who is later called the King of the North in Daniel 11:40. The ‘one week’ has generally been understood by prophecy watchers to mean a seven year deal, that is broken in the middle of it (after 3 1/2 years). This break is also confirmed in the following scripture:

31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 11:31)

The “him” is the King of the North. And the above is consistent with breaking the deal in the middle of the week as Daniel 9:27 points out will happen.

So, what does this mean for now?

It looks like the Palestinians will not currently accept the deals being proposed by Jared Kushner on behalf of the Trump Administration.

That does NOT mean that the Palestinians will not, in the future, accept some details of some plan similiar to what Jared Kushner is proposing.

They will, for a time, accept a temporary peace deal according to the Bible. But that acceptance by the Palestinians and the Israelis is likely to come after more violent conflict in the Middle East. Peace deals normally come after major violent conflict.

Despite Israeli hopes, the current State of Israel will end up losing land and the Palestinians gaining more than the Israelis likely think is possible–but much of that loss would not be part of the Daniel 9 deal (for details, check out the scriptures in the article Gaza and the Palestinians in Bible Prophecy).

While Jared Kushner will not succeed with the Palestinians at this time, some of the details he is proposing and plans to propose may well be associated with the temporary peace deal that will come to the region.

Evangelical support for Donald Trump’s Jerusalem policy BBC asked, “Why do US evangelicals support Trump’s Jerusalem policy?” BBC provided quotes from some believing it has to do with the ‘last days’ while others saying that is not the reason. Hal Lindsey’s book, ‘The Late Great Planet Earth’ is one of the sources pointed to. In this video, Dr. Thiel addresses scriptures related to Jerusalem as well as prophetic ones. Jerusalem, Donald Trump, and Prophecy On December 6, 2017, US President Donald Trump fulfilled a campaign promise related to the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. This brought anger, protests, and rockets from some Palestinians. It also brought condemnation from European allies–it has been claimed to be disruptive and even catastrophic. The Palestinian President (Mahmoud Abbas) said that this pronouncement eliminated the USA as being a fair mediator for a peace deal. Others have claimed that Donald Trump is an end time Cyrus and his pronouncement will lead to a Third Temple in Jerusalem. Is there ever going to be a peace deal? If so, will Europeans be part of it? Is Donald Trump a ‘Cyrus.’ Do the Jews require a Third Temple for sacrifices? Dr. Thiel answer those questions and more in this video.
