A president with the values, experience and the strategic thinking to bring our nation together and build a better, fair world for our children.”

As far as ‘values’ go, last year, Voice of America reported the following:

Former Vice President Joe Biden announced Thursday he will seek the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, instantly catapulting him to the top of an increasingly crowded Democratic field vying to challenge U.S. President Donald Trump.

” The core values of this nation… our standing in the world… our very democracy…everything that has made America — America –is at stake. That’s why today I’m announcing my candidacy for President of the United States,” Biden said in a message posted on Twitter. …

Biden’s experience in the areas of foreign affairs, criminal justice and domestic policy is unmatched by other presidential candidates.

But the 76-year-old politician’s old-school style of glad-handing and pressing the flesh recently came back to haunt him, when at least seven women, including a one-time candidate for lieutenant governor in Nevada, accused him of inappropriate touching, hugs and kissing at public events. While Biden has defended his past behavior as consistent with his lifelong effort to make a “human connection” with women and men alike, he pledged in a recent video to be “mindful” of people’s boundaries going forward.

The ‘core values’ of the USA have been more and more dismissed and Joe Biden, like others running for the US presidency, is not one who understands what they were or what they should be.

From right to life, freedom of religion, and certain other claimed values of the USA, Joseph Biden simply does not stand for them (note: that is NOT an endorsement of Donald Trump).

In general, the predominant media outlets have been pro-Biden. But Newsweek did post this a couple of days ago:

Joe Biden’s critics are blasting CNN for failing to uncover archival footage that they say would help corroborate Tara Reade’s allegations that the former vice president sexually assaulted her in 1993.

Video resurfaced this week from an August 11, 1993 Larry King Live segment in which an unnamed woman, purportedly Reade’s mother, called in from San Luis Obispo, California to speak with panelists who were discussing the treacherous world of Washington politics and media. The recently uncovered CNN video shows Reade’s mother telling host Larry King and his panelists: “I’m wondering what a staffer would do besides go to the press in Washington, my daughter has just left there after working for a prominent senator and could not get through with her problems at all and the only thing she could have done is go to the press and she chose not to out of respect for him.”

“So in other words, she had a story to tell, but out of respect for the person she worked for she didn’t tell it?” King asked, prompting the unidentified woman to affirm her remark.

The long-forgotten CNN clip was uncovered by The Intercept Friday, prompting Biden’s critics — particularly those in the progressive wing of the Democratic Party–to double down on their accusations that so-called mainstream media outlets are burying Reade’s allegations to protect the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. Biden and his campaign have categorically denied those accusations of the alleged incident, which Reade said occurred while working as a Senate staffer for Biden in 1993. …

New York Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been one of the most vocal progressive critics of Biden — a wing of the Democratic Party that largely opposed Hillary Clinton’s candidacy in 2016. Two more sources have come forward to corroborate sexual assault claims against Joe Biden by former staffer Tara Reade, who claims that in 1993 Biden forced himself upon her and penetrated her against her will with his fingers.

Two people have already come forward to say that Reade told them of the incident shortly after it allegedly occurred; her brother Collin Moulton, and a friend who wishes to remain anonymous for fear of retribution.

Now, two more witnesses have come forward to Business Insider; former neighbor Lynda LaCasse – a self-described “very strong Democrat,” and Reade’s former co-worker, Lorraine Sanchez, who worked in the office of a California state senator in the mid-1990s.

Donald Trump has faced various charges of inappropriate behaviors towards women as well.

So, with Joe Biden the presumptive Democratic nominee and Donald Trump the presumptive Republican nominee, we have two with serious allegations they mistreated women that are running for president of the USA. In Joe Biden’s case, the hope seems to be that since he intends to have a female as his vice presidential nominee, that his own actions and ‘values’ towards various women will not be considered enough of a problem to get elected. And, in the case of Donald Trump, the hope seems to be that his own issues with women will not be enough to stop him from being re-elected.

Anyway, as far as Joe Biden’s values go, here are statements from various parts of the JoeBiden.com website I found today:

Joe’s Plan

As president, Biden will protect and build on Obamacare …

• Working to codify Roe v. Wade.
• Supporting the repeal of the Hyde Amendment.
• Reducing our unacceptably high maternal mortality rate, which disproportionately affects women of color.
• Restoring federal funding for Planned Parenthood, including through Medicaid and Title X. https://joebiden.com/women-for-biden-policy/

Three of the above four have to do with abortion–the Hyde Amendment prohibits federal funds to be used to pay for abortions. Abortion promoting looks to be a major ‘value’ of Joe Biden.

The JoeBiden.com website also has the following:

No leader has done more to work to end violence against women than Joe Biden. … He lifted survivors’ voices  … In 2011, the Obama-Biden White House sent important guidance to schools spelling out their responsibilities to prevent sexual violence. https://joebiden.com/women-for-biden-policy/

If the allegations against Joe Biden are correct, he most certainly has not “lifted survivors’ voices” as he does not want any to believe the accusations against him. Maybe he is not guilty, but maybe he is.

In terms of ‘values’ and priorities, here is something from the JoeBiden.com website:

Now, on the above he is being consistent. This is something he pledged to do last June (see also CNN Poll: Biden continues to lead crowded Democratic field; first priority if elected is the ‘Equality Act’):

The so-called Equality Act would amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to include “sex,” “sexual orientation,” and “gender identity” among the recognized “non-discrimination” categories in “public accommodations.” “Gender identity” would be expanded to include additional establishments like online retailers, health care services, recreation, and others. The so-called “Equality Act,” is, of course, biblically immoral. But Joe Biden and other supporters of it will not accept biblical authority. Instead they are pushing an agenda that will end in death per Romans 1:18-31.

The ‘Equality Act” in the UK caused a minister to resign as he felt that parents should be told before the Protestant school got the genitalia of an eight-year-old removed and changed to female genitalia:

A vicar has resigned following a bitter dispute with his bishop over the way a Church of England school handled an eight-year-old pupil’s plan to change gender.

The Reverend John Parker, a governor at the school, supported the boy’s wish to become a girl but said he was silenced when he raised concerns that parents and pupils would be kept in the dark. …

Mr Parker said last night: ‘I was basically told by my bishop that if I wished to faithfully follow the teachings of the Bible then I was no longer welcome in the Church. It felt very much like I was being silenced by the Church and the school.’

The dispute comes amid growing controversy over the number of children now choosing to change gender.

Mr Parker, 49, was told in March that an eight-year-old pupil would be transitioning from a boy to a girl at the primary school in an Essex village. The Mail on Sunday is not naming the school to protect the privacy of the pupils.

He asked for evidence that the child had seen a psychologist or a medical professional to ensure that the desire to live as a girl was not being driven by the parents – but his request was dismissed.

The vicar also questioned whether any ‘pastoral provisions’ had been made for Christian parents and children who might be confused about what was going on at the school.

But Mr Parker said when he put these points to the head teacher at a meeting, she dismissed them as merely being his ‘personal views’.

One would think that a Protestant school would allow its ministers to attempt to try to follow the Bible, but that is not the way many think.

Now, notice something else about the proposed US ‘Equality Act’:

Dobson, on behalf of his James Dobson Family Institute, wrote, “Make no mistake – the so-called Equality Act is nothing but a thinly veiled attempt to finish off religious liberty in America once and for all, which ought to be plainly obvious based upon a cursory reading of the First Amendment.”

The proposal, H.R. 5 and S. 788, would provide special protections for the LGBT community throughout American society. It would state that religious beliefs are not a defense in a dispute between gay rights and constitutionally protected religious rights.

“I wish I could say I was shocked to see the speed with which Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats have brought to committee the sweet sounding but entirely treacherous Equality Act. This decision demonstrates a frightening willingness by those on the left to advance a radical social agenda at a time when our nation already faces so many other divisive challenges,” he said.

“Simply put, by creating a protected class of citizens out of the LGBT community, this bill places Christians who believe in traditional marriage at grave legal and civil jeopardy,” said Dobson.

“While no evangelical Christian would ever support hate or violence of any kind against an LGBT individual – or any other person for that matter – to modify the 1964 Civil Rights Act with this wrong-headed bill would not only be legally fraught, it would also put moral equivalence to the unprecedented, centuries-long struggle of countless millions of African Americans to gain freedom from slavery and the persistent, systematic oppression that followed.”

Telling the truth, and even religious opinions, continues to come under fire.

Loss of freedom was prophesied:

11 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God,
“That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread,
Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
And from north to east;
They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
But shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12)

Notice that the Bible tells of a time that will come when the word of God will not be found. I do not believe that this means that there will be no more Bibles–but that those wanting to better understand it will have trouble finding explanations.

Various politicians have announced their intentions to run for the office of the President of the United States in 2020. ‘Politico’ ran an article about the ‘sorry state’ of various candidates. Some candidates have felt the need to apologize for previous statements in support of biblical marriage and the need to endorse items of the LGBTQ agenda. Many also support abortion and other anti-biblical actions. Are these ‘American values’? Should the English language be changed to eliminate male/female and singular pronouns? Does the Bible warn about female leaders? Does the Bible warn about leaders that lead people to err? What about condoning sexual immortality? Do the presidential contenders fit prophecies warned about in 2 Timothy 3:1-5? These are some of the subjects that Dr. Thiel addresses.

The 2020 presidential election will feature people who are against many aspects of biblical morality.

The Bible itself warns that if the children of Israel sinned and did not repent, the following would happen:

¹² As for My people … Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths. (Isaiah 3:12)

¹⁶ For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed. (Isaiah 9:16)

It seems like all who are potentially major candidates for the 2020 presidential election advocate and promote several positions which are not biblically good.

The Apostle Paul warned:

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

Many of those statements apply to those who wish to win the 2020 US Presidential election (from whatever political party). And they also apply to Joe Biden.

The time is coming when the USA will be eliminated as a nation (watch also our sermon video The Bible, the USA, and the King of the West).

We are getting closer to the start of the Great Tribulation and whoever wins in November and is in office next January will take steps that will be apocalyptic.
