‘Serbia, Slovakia Join Sudden Eastern European Gold Repatriation Push’

Serbia, Slovakia Join Sudden Eastern European Gold Repatriation Push

Just a few short days after Poland’s government touted its economic might after completing the repatriation of 100 tons of the barbarous relic; and with Hungary‘s anti-immigrant Prime Minister Viktor Orban also ramping up holdings of the safe-haven asset to boost the security of his reserves, more Eastern European nationalist leaders are demanding their country’s gold back on home soil.
As Bloomberg reports, former Slovak Premier Robert Fico, whose odds of returning to power are rising quickly, urged parliament to compel the central bank into repatriating the nation’s gold stocks, which are currently stored in the U.K..
His reason?
Perhaps most vocally reflecting what many other nations also believe – sometimes your international partners can betray you. …
Additionally, Serbia’s strongman leader Aleksandar Vucic took note, ordering the central bank to boost reserves and prompting the purchase of nine tons in October.
Vucic said last week that more should be bought because “we see in which direction the crisis in the world is moving.”
Poland recently pulled much of its gold out of the UK (see FOX: Secret mission moves billions in gold from London to Poland). Now, a Slovak politician wants to do the same thing–essentially hinting that the UK cannot be trusted.
In September, Russia and China said they were stockpiling gold because they could “read the writing on the wall” (see Russia & China stockpiling gold because ‘they can read the writing on the wall’).
Now Serbia’s President Alexsandar Vucic says his country needs more gold because it sees “which direction the crisis in the world is moving.”
Financially, “the crisis in the world” has to do with several factors:
- US debt (which is Now More than Ten Times Annual Tax Receipts)
- US sanctions policies (watch US Sanctions and Tariffs leading to New World Order?)
- US trade policies (watch Trade Disputes: CCOG Warnings Are Coming to Pass)
Beyond that, many nations are displeased with various US policies, plus want their own countries to have more influence and dominance.
And then there is the historical role of gold.
Serbia may also see having greater gold reserves as a sign of its economic strength and stability as it negotiates various arrangements with Russia and the European Union.
It would not surprise me if both the EU and Russia encouraged Serbia to do so.
As the picture at the beginning of this post indicates, my family and I have been to Serbia (and on several occasions to visit CCOG members there, including for part of the Feast of Tabernacles in 2018). While Serbia would like better relations with the USA, the reality is that in addition to the Serbian dinar, the EU’s euro is the other currency of that nation. Its leaders desire to accumulate gold would definitely seem to fit more in with European, not American, goals.
Earlier this year I saw in an SGT Report that as an individual nation, the USA had the most gold reserves at 8,133.5 tons. Yet, when you add up the reserves of the individual European nations, it was clear that Europe has far more in gold reserves than the USA.
Ultimately, it looks like the Russians, Chinese, and Indians (yes, India has a lot of gold) will work with the Europeans related to pushing the US dollar aside to be replaced by something with at least implied gold backing.
The Bible shows that gold will have value during during the Great Tribulation and several passages tie gold to Europe:
40 “At the time of the end … 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver (Daniel 11:40,43)
14 … And the wealth of all the surrounding nations Shall be gathered together: Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance. (Zechariah 14:14)
12 … merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls … 16 … ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! (Revelation 18:12, 16)

There are no similar statements backing up the future value of paper items, like the US dollar or the British pound (scripture, indirectly, teaches their elimination, for details see Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel).
Daniel 11:24 shows that the European leader mentioned in Daniel 11:40-43 (the King of the North) will somehow also be accumulating wealth prior to this time, and that would seem to have to involve gold accumulation (cf. Daniel 11:38). Perhaps to back up a European supported currency, he also may end up with personal and/or national gold reserves and/or wealth from the Vatican. The Vatican has a vast amount of wealth and is prophesied to be improperly involved with the kings of the earth in the end times per Revelation 17.
Europe is prophesied to have even more gold than it now has!
The Bible also teaches that in the end time, the highly indebted nation will be taken over (Habakkuk 2:2-8)–no nation is more indebted than the USA–and on a per capita basis, the UK is one of the most indebted. They will be taken over and conquered during the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21; Daniel 11:39; watch also Do these 7 prophesies point to the end of the USA?).
Increased USA debt, combined with gold accumulation by various nations, points to economic disaster in the USA’s future (cf. Habakkuk 2:6-8).
The USA dollar, instead of being the world’s premier currency, will be worth no more than the scrap/sentimental value of the cotton-paper its notes are printed on.
