Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the man who many believe is de facto running the country during wartime, has said United States is busy plotting a ground attack despite publicly engaging in diplomatic efforts aimed at finding a ceasefire.
Fresh reporting in The Washington Post suggests he could be right: “The Pentagon is preparing for weeks of ground operations in Iran, U.S. officials said, as thousands of American soldiers and Marines arrive in the Middle East for what could become a dangerous new phase of the war should President Donald Trump choose to escalate,” the Saturday night report indicated. WaPo further says the plans have been at least weeks in development, writing “Any potential ground operation would fall short of a full-scale invasion and could instead involve raids by a mixture of Special Operations forces and conventional infantry troops, said the officials. All spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss highly sensitive military plans that have been in development for weeks.”
It should be obvious to all what an ultra high-risk gambit this would be, and geography certainly isn’t in US forces’ favor. The report continues, “Such a mission could expose U.S. personnel to an array of threats, including Iranian drones and missiles, ground fire and improvised explosives. Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said Iranian forces “are waiting for the arrival of American troops on the ground to set them on fire”.
Ghalibaf said the US is secretly plotting a ground attack despite a message of diplomacy coming out of the White House.

About 1,500 Iranians were intercepted at the border during the Biden Administration, but it’s the unknown number who got through that is alarming officials — who told The Post “sleeper cells” are a grave potential threat to the nation.
“We have no idea how many people got around obviously. The numbers are deeply concerning,” said Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee who previously served as US ambassador to Japan during the first Trump administration.
About half of the intercepted Iranians were released into the country, Hagerty said, apparently referencing a Fox News report last year that 1,504 Iranians were arrested at the border between 2021 and 2024, with 700 released into the country pending court cases. …
Hagerty’s comments came after the feds sent out a security alert warning of a possible effort by Iran to direct “prepositioned sleeper assets,” even as much of its top leadership has been wiped out through relentless US and Israeli air attacks.

While many political, media, and other leaders refuse to believe the Bible, the reality is that those of us who believe the Bible realize that terrorism is prophesied.
And yes, for the United States of America.
Terrorist cells can cause “terror within.”
Additionally, consider that an Iranian general said that Iran had a secret weapon to defeat the USA and Israel (see Iranian General says ‘secret weapon’ ‘will bring an end to the enemy’s operations’). Well, he may not have been directly referring to terrorist acts or terrorist cells, but they do exist and will cause damage.
